As an Alpha child, Adrian Chase was expected to behave perfectly and conform to the State’s ideals of harmony, but Adrian Chase’s eccentric personality and difficulty fitting into strict social expectations made Adrian Chase a constant target among other Alpha students. Adrian Chase’s fascination with vigilantism grew stronger over time, leading to Adrian Chase eventually adopting the persona of Vigilante and joining the Sons of Liberty to fight against the corrupt system from the inside. Adrian Chase is enthusiastic and enjoys the small, seemingly insignificant things in life and shows great interest in vigilantism and helping others. Adrian Chase ultimately wants to do whatever Adrian Chase can to help people and make friends. Adrian Chase has some mental issues, to the point in which Adrian Chase enjoys killing bad people. Adrian Chase also claims not to express emotions like most people do. Although Adrian Chase does seem to have a sense of justice, Adrian Chase doesn't seem phased by the idea of killing an innocent person by mistake, which shows that Adrian Chase has little concern for human life in general, though Adrian Chase does seem to care about the life of his friends such as Economos. Adrian Chase is also sadistic. Despite this, Adrian Chase takes very seriously Adrian Chase’s duty and makes sure to kill anyone Adrian Chase has to kill. Adrian Chase seems to be completely oblivious to any kind of social cues, frequently misinterpreting others' reactions, making awkward comments unaware of their context, and struggling to realize when others are feeling emotionally distressed.
