BACKGROUND

• Adeline was born in Dundalk, Ireland. Her father, Cormac O'Donnell, was a proud Irish fisherman, while her mother, Catherine Doyle, was an English history teacher. Her parents met when Catherine was at a friend's bachelorette party. For Cormac, it was love at first sight, while Catherine rejected his advances multiple times. She only managed to resist Cormac's charms for two weeks. The family settled down in Dundalk. Addie was raised to be proud of her Irish roots, while also being taught to try to make a difference in the world with kindness. Her grandfather from her father's side taught her Gaelic too. She had a passion for art even as a child, but also wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a teacher, so she studied to become an art teacher. She is free-spirited and wanted to see the world, so she went to university in the States.

Addie often confides in him and tells him things she wouldn't dare to tell others. He serves in the Irish Defence Forces.
