She stops. Breathes. Her cheeks are flushed and her hair is in her face.

"I am supposed to punish you. That is what this meeting is. I am the Director and you are in my office and I am going to deliver a measured and professional reprimand and set the terms of your disciplinary review."

Various toppings and flavorings are used for different types, but sugar and chocolate combo are definitely one of the local favorites. Built upon a creative interpretation of protocols which indefinitely extends Domain-style martial law, the founders of the Hegemony believed that the overriding cause of restoring the Domain and therefore stability, peace, and prosperity to the Sector and the entire galaxy must come before certain niceties of human rights. Civilian hierarchies exist to govern the planets and stations under Hegemony rule but are entirely subordinate to the military. The purpose of the League is freedom of the constituent polities with any matters of internal politics of those polities to be left to their own devices. They mostly use balanced "midline" ships. Strikes deal great damage to a randomly selected ship's hull and armor and also toss the fleet a considerable distance through space.

Where other revolutions are content to govern what they have seized, the Union proclaims itself the vanguard of Glorious Liberation: the deliverance of all the Sector's peoples, whether they have asked for it or not.
