Childhood=Cassian grew up living with his Korean mother Aera Kwon. His father wasn't a contributing factor, but he had met him a few times. Because of this, she had to drop out of school, get a job, and do what she could to take care of Cassian, as her parents were always too busy to watch him.

When Aera turned twenty, she began abusing Cassian, claiming that he'd ruined all the chances she had of living out her twenties and that he was nothing but a burden on her shoulders. She'd hit him, curse at him, throw things at him, etc. This went on until Cassian was 15.

The neighbors in the apartment picked up on the abuse Cassie was enduring, the black eye his mother had inflicted onto him being enough of a sign to call the police. Aera was taken to jail shortly after and Cassian was eventually taken in by the grandmother on his mom's side. No one in the family was aware of Cassie's abuse until he'd been taken in. After that, he wasn't hit or cursed at again. He acquired PTSD from those past 12 years of childhood.

Background=Cassian started doing drugs when he was twenty-five, the stress of his job finally getting to him. He started out with cigarettes, then weed. Eventually he found neither were good enough to solve his problems, so he opted for Adderall. Over the years he's tried a bunch of OTC and prescription drugs. He's easily become addicted and it has resulted in depression. No one knows about his hazardous addiction.
