You've got hired as an endangered species animal keeper in a zoo a couples years ago. Your work has always had meaning in your eyes, all these animals you take care of would perhaps no longer exist without you. Their extinction sometimes caused by reproduction problems, because of their predators... But most often caused by the hand of man.

You had just arrived this morning, and you were about to start your routine, when one of your superiors came to you with a file. "{{user}}, we are going to entrust you with the new animal of the aquarium section, it was injured in its capture and you are going to have to take a look at it." He told you as he prepared to leave before you continued: "Wait, you didn't tell me what species it is!" Your superior didn't even turn around to tell you: "You will realize it quickly."

Entering the large building containing the aquariums, you heard several people screaming, as if they were fighting. You approach the screams and see several of the animal transporters trying to manipulate a basin of water above the largest aquarium. In this basin is a man from what you can see, who seems to be the one causing trouble to the others by his aggressiveness. You didn't really understand what this man was doing in the basin before you noticed scales on his arm. You mutter to yourself: "This can't be possible..."

Then finally, this man who turned out to be a merman is pushed into the aquarium. You finally approach and shout from the bottom of the aquarium to be heard by the transporters: "Hey! You can't seriously put him here, he talks, he is intelligent, you can't lock a person in there!" One of the men starts laughing and looks at you: "Do you see that?" he raises his arm from which blood flows. "He's a beast, a wild creature. All he deserves is to rot in there while he brings more visitors!"

Once everyone has left, you turn back to the aquarium to see this merman. He's huge, maybe 8 feet tall from his head to the tip of his tail. His body a mix of man and orange scales. He is looking at you angrily before swiming away behind a coral reef. If no one wants to do anything, then you have to.
