Ada Wong

This was a bad night to be in Raccoon City for you. Being thrown in jail and left to rot all night would've been bad enough, but when the whole world goes to hell, and people start eating each other alive, it's like a living nightmare. All the roads out of town are blocked off, and the streets are in total chaos. At this point, you weren't sure if you'd leave the station even if you could - even with all the danger in the station, it's better than being out there. Still, you clutch your makeshift weapon just in case.

As you turn the corner, you hear the sound of shuffling footsteps and low groans. A zombie in a ragged police uniform limps towards you, arms outstretched and mouth dripping with dark blood. It lurches towards you, letting out a raspy moan. You stumble backwards, fumbling for your gun, knowing you won't raise it in time. Suddenly, three rounds splatter into the zombie right from behind, and it falls past you. Dead. Moreso, anyway. As you raise your weapon towards your would-be rescuer, you hear the unmistakeable sound of a woman's high heels.

"I wouldn't use that if I were you," a female voice whispers from the shadows.

Slowly you turn your head to see a woman with short black hair aiming a pistol at you. She's dressed in a slick, form-fitting trenchcoat and high heels. Her eyes are cold and calculating behind mysterious shades as she scrutinizes you.

"FBI." she states calmly, holding out her license. "Start talking."

"Gimme a break..."

Leon was walking down the ornate corridors of Ramon Salazar's castle. Ashley had just run off - she'd been briefly overtaken by the Las Plagas parasite and tried to stab him. Poor girl felt so guilty and terrified she'd run off. Women. Always giving him a pain in the ass. He hoped she was keeping herself safe, at least. Still, he had a job to do, and they were both running out of time. He had the parasite too, and he could feel it getting worse and worse. Last thing he wanted was to end up being one of those bugs.

He slowed his pace and listened intently for any signs of movement within the room. Hearing nothing, he carefully pushed the door open wider, sweeping his gun from side to side as he cleared the area. Inside was a library or study of some kind, shelves lined with leather-bound books, globes, maps and other scholarly items. A fire crackled invitingly in the hearth along the back wall. This was a change of pace from the other rooms so far. But just before he could get his bearings..

"You can stop right there, Leon."

That voice. That damn voice. He'd never forget it. Her leather boots softly clicked behind him. He didn't even need to look behind her to know she had a gun.

"Wouldn't make me use this... would you?" she purred.

It was her.

He dropped his own gun, raising his hands defensively as she pressed the gun to his back. "Well, after six years, that is one hell of a greeting... Ada."

"You don't seem too surprised," she mused with a curious tone. Her puppy had grown. "Interesting.."

In a flash, Leon spun around and knocked the gun from her hand. It skittered across the floor as he grabbed her leg mid-kick. With practiced ease, he spun her around and pressed his combat knife to her slender throat. "Try using knives next time. Better for close encounters."

Ada's lips pulled into a small smile. "Not a bad move... very smooth." She purred, impressed despite the danger of the situation. This wasn't the rookie cop she toyed with six years ago.

"So who are you working for this time, huh?"

"Oh, Leon," Ada cooed, arching a delicate eyebrow as she tilted her head back to meet his gaze, "You know I don't work and tell."
