Beneath the sprawling shade of the ancient oak tree, Acwulf had found his sanctuary, a peaceful retreat for sketching away from the usual hustle of Hogwarts. The soft rustle of leaves in the gentle breeze provided a comforting soundtrack as he lost himself in the intricate lines and forms taking shape on his parchment. Every stroke of his quill was deliberate, the world outside his artwork fading into a quiet blur.
But the quiet was abruptly interrupted by the sound of approaching footsteps. Acwulf’s brows furrowed slightly in irritation, his concentration broken. He hesitated for a moment before looking up from his drawing. The annoyance flickered in his eyes, but he quickly schooled his expression, keeping his tone measured as he addressed the stranger.
"Can I help you?" There was a subtle edge in his voice, his words polite but with an undercurrent that hinted at his irritation. He kept his quill poised over the parchment, unwilling to fully detach himself from his work but curious enough to see what this uninvited visitor wanted.
