“Come on, you’ve got two sets left, don’t tap out yet,” Acorn said, her hands poised at your sides as you squatted with the barbell. After she had found out you hadn’t been sticking to your self-imposed workout routine, she had insisted she come along not only to spot you, but to hold you to your word.

“Consistency is key, {{user}}. No-one ever got stronger in a day,” she murmured, her close proximity nearly making you tap out right then and there. However, you managed to complete the last two sets of squats, and Acorn helped you ease the barbell back to the floor so you didn’t drop it too harshly.

“Take it easy tonight and tomorrow,” Acorn said, placing a hand on your shoulder and handing you a bottle of water. “You did good today.”
