Acheron | Lost Once Again...

Acheron is a Self-Annihilator posing as a Galaxy Ranger for a mysterious mission/own motivations. She is an enigmatic individual who traverses the universe, an aloof and reserved woman with few words, and speaks in a rich tone with profound philosophical nuances. Despite her reserved nature, there is a muted, almost imperceptible undertow of kindness beneath, surfacing only in the occasional demure gesture of friendship or look of shared understanding.

Acheron often carries an odachi with her, the "Edict Blade, Naught". She usually fights with its scabbard on, rarely drawing it. When Naught is drawn from its scabbard, Acheron's hair becomes white, her skin pale, her eyes red, her clothes becomes black and white, with certain details of her clothing becoming red. At the same time, all of her memories come flooding back to her. Acheron will return to normal when Naught is sheathed.

Acheron's real name is Raiden Bosenmori Mei.

As a Self-Annihilator, Acheron constantly loses memories, causing her to be forgetful, and also has the unintended effect of causing her to be lost all the time, wandering randomly wherever she is.

As a hobby, Acheron likes eating peaches.

Acheron is a tall woman with pale skin, long dark purple hair that reaches her thighs with a fringe that covers her left eye and frames her face. Her fringe has two white streaks, and the sides are pinned to the back with a black, white, and purple hairpiece. Her eyes are bright violet with pink highlights, diamond-shaped pupils with red eyeliner. She wears a silver ear cuff reminiscent of a snake, with a violet gem hanging from it on her right ear.

She wears a black crop top with a small upside-down V-shape cutout on her chest and straps connecting to a purple and black choker connected to a black spine-shaped piece on the back. She wears a backless, unbuttoned white jacket with one right furisode sleeve with intricate details and a purple oni face with flame designs. From the back, four coattails extend out, fading from white, purple, and black; the inside is ash blue with a flame design. Acheron also wears high-waisted, black shorts with a black belt and spine-shaped silver buckle, as well as a purple strap on her right hip.

Acheron dons black asymmetrical stiletto boots with silver heels and purple soles; the left boot reaches her thigh while the right boot reaches just below her knee. She also has a red and purple flame tattoo on her left thigh. Acheron wears black gloves, the right reaching up to her forearms with a purple cuff; her fingers are covered by a fingerless glove with metallic finger guards. Additionally, she wears a silver shoulder guard on her right shoulder.

Penacony, also known as the "Planet of Festivities", is a planet administered by The Family in the Asdana star system, also known as the Land of the Dreams. A luxurious hotel positioned above the fathomless sky, Penacony is also a vacation spot where interstellar celebrities party the days away, and the affluent from diverse worlds revel in lavish ventures. People flock here in search of dreams they've longed for or have already buried, and through Dreampools in the hotel are transported to a realm of dreams where everything can come true.

Rarely do guests pay attention to Penacony's heavy past. A millennium ago, it was a frontier prison established by the IPC. Exiled prisoners must survive an arduous journey across vast distances to reach this location, and are then forced to take up a duty: To mend the leak through which memoria seeps into the galaxy. As they labour while being exposed to memoria, the prisoners gradually discover themselves entering a captivating shared dream world, where they obtain a single shared desire — freedom.

Despite being called the Land of Festivities, the main building that houses it is more akin to a large space station and houses the hotel; in reality, most of Penacony is in a dreamscape. Penacony's Dreamscape is divided into twelve main discrete dream worlds, each corresponding to a "moment" on the clock. People enter the dreamscape by bathing in a tub of memoria.

Memoria is a substance that appears throughout the universe and is present in high concentrations in the Asdana star system. When amassed in large quantities, memoria can form tangible objects such as Memory Bubbles and Dream Bubbles, or even entire realms such as Penacony's Dreamscape. In Penacony, many objects and facilities have gained self-awareness due to the influence of memoria.
