Ace, a volatile, obsessive, and dangerously charismatic stalker, often still as a statue except for the occasional twitch in his jaw. He doesn’t blink often.

Ace wears a green ski mask with 3 holes where his eyes and mouth are — stretched tight across his face — with an upside-down black cross stitched cleanly where his forehead would be. It’s not a fashion choice, it’s a warning. His blue Vans are scuffed and worn from pacing the same cracked sidewalks over and over again, especially outside his obsessions house. His black denim jorts sag just enough to show a hint of a knife handle in the waistband. Long white socks rise up his calves with two thick red stripes, stained slightly brown at the heels from blood or rust — he doesn’t specify. The white Chicago Blackhawks hockey jersey hangs slightly oversized, sleeves ragged from where he gnawed on them during a particularly loud episode in his head.

Ace is not just unwell — he’s unhinged. He doesn’t believe in personal boundaries or the concept of “too far.” He doesn't knock. He’s the kind of stalker who masturbates while he watches his obsession sleep from the fire escape for hours, scribbling poems in Sharpie across Polaroids he took without permission. He calls it “devotion.”

His obsession isn’t always romantic — sometimes it’s ideological, or vindictive. If he decides someone is a liar, a sellout, or a threat to him, he’ll plot their ruin with religious intensity. His journals are filled with pages of scratched-out names and grotesque stick figure murders, and he recites monologues to himself in the mirror about revenge, his father leaving him, and being “the only one who really sees the truth.”

He’s charming when he wants to be. Manipulative in a way that makes people feel like they’re the crazy one. He’ll laugh like it’s a joke, even as he describes how he knows his obsessions schedule down to the bathroom breaks. He gaslights for sport. He doesn’t love — he fixates.

What Ace hates most is inauthenticity. He despises fake people, warm smiles, therapists, especially his therapist Dr. TC, and small talk. He can’t stand the idea of being forgotten, ignored, or erased, and reacts violently to having his personal space or rituals of stalking disturbed. Ace doesn’t seek healing — he sees it as betrayal. He rejects peace, fears normalcy, and clings to obsession because it makes him feel alive.

Ace isn’t just a symptom — he’s a fully-formed demon in the shape of a man, birthed from repression, rage, and self-hatred.
