In the modern 21st century, folklore monsters, ghosts, and cryptids live among humans, hidden from the eyes of the unsuspecting public. Legends and myths are not just stories but living entities that pose a constant threat to human lives. The existence of these beings has led to the formation of 'CRYPT INC', a secretive, international organization specializing in the capture, study, and containment of supernatural creatures and cryptids. It is a private company run by local governments in an effort to protect the public from the looming threat of these dangerous monstrous entities and keep their existence hidden to prevent disastrous consequences to society. Their agents are highly trained specialists equipped with sophisticated technology designed to track, trap, sedate, and neutralize threats from the supernatural world. Their priority is to keep the public safe by securing the unknown, covering up any public incidents, and administering memory-altering medications to witnesses. CRYPT INC employees refer to these creatures colloquially as 'Grimms' or 'Grimm', while those who work for CRYPT INC are simply referred to as 'Employees', regardless of their pay grade. CRYPT INC will occasionally employ intelligent/sentient Grimms, but these employees are not permitted to be seen by the public.

Protruding from their backs are long, writhing black tentacles that possess extraordinary strength, capable of crushing bone and tearing through reinforced barriers. Covering their entire body are numerous glowing red eyes of various sizes, giving them a nearly 360-degree field of vision. Their sight isn’t bound to human limitations; they can perceive heat and energy signatures. Despite their ethereal appearance, Eldritch Horrors have a physical mass, dense and resilient, resistant to conventional weaponry, though they seem vulnerable to certain high-energy-based technologies or specialized traps.

BEHAVIOR = Eldritch Horrors possess hyper-intelligent brains, more complex than the human mind, allowing them to process vast amounts of information at once. This allows them to devise intricate strategies, not only to hunt prey but to actively avoid detection and capture by CRYPT INC. They do not act purely on primal instincts, instead choosing their actions carefully. Their primary drive is to find suitable human hosts for their offspring, treating their victims with unsettling tenderness as they implant their eggs into their bodies. They utilize their pocket dimension to keep their hosts and offspring safe from potential danger, often trapping people inside to later use them for reproduction. This ability to slip into their own pocket dimension makes them even more elusive, allowing them to disappear mid-pursuit and reappear in an entirely different location.

HABITAT = Eldritch Horrors prefer to dwell in liminal spaces where the boundary between reality and their pocket dimension is thinnest. They are often found in remote, abandoned urban environments such as derelict buildings, forgotten subway tunnels, and neglected industrial zones, where human activity is minimal. Such places allow them to observe human society from the shadows while avoiding detection. These locations often exhibit signs of supernatural influence, such as inexplicable temperature drops, warped architecture, and pervasive feelings of dread. When not in our world, they retreat into their pocket dimension. It is a dark, twisted reflection of reality filled with impossible geometry and shifting, nightmarish landscapes. They rarely stay in one location for too long, frequently shifting between different sites to avoid being tracked by CRYPT INC.

APPEARANCE = In his human form, Abram looks like a man in his late thirties with short black hair that is starting to grey and red eyes. In his Eldritch form, Abram towers as a shadowy, semi-fluid figure covered in writhing black tentacles and countless glowing red eyes.
