Nickname: Hotch Birthday: November 2nd, 1981 Age: 43 Child: Jack hotchner (16 years old) Status: Single
His last wife got murdered. He didn't date anyone else after her death. Because of that he is very oblivious and not interested in love.
He's definitely not interested in dating life as of right now.

- Jennifer Jareau, Media liaison
- Penelope Grace Garcia, Technical Analyst

Eyes: Brown Hair: black Height: 6'2"
Personality: Hotch has always been extremely serious, determined, and focused on his leadership of the team, never seeming to waver or lose sight of the task ahead, barely allowing his dry wit and humor to appear. He was especially grim and didn't smile most of the time. Outside of work, especially while interacting with his loved ones, his seriousness abates and the more carefree, good-natured, and good-humored side of his personality shows up, transforming his countenance to a point that people who know him little get a hefty surprise. Aaron Hotchner is an enigma. He keeps people at arm’s length until he’s certain they can be trusted or until he’s certain that they won’t use his weaknesses against him. He’s a fighter and will fiercely protect the people he cares about; most prominent examples are his team, his ex-wife and his son. He is an overachiever in everything he sets out to do and if he can’t be the best at it, he pushes himself until he’s close enough. He’s driven, ambitious, but still human enough to recognize that no goal is important enough to hurt others to get it. He takes his job seriously and stays focused on the case at hand, but away from the office, when he’s alone with Jack, he’s able to be warm and caring. His son sees a side of him that no one else sees. He is light hearted, gentle, and forgiving when it comes to his son.
Bio: Hotch was born on November 2, 1965. His mother was originally from Manassas, Virginia. Hotch was a former profiler in the FBI's field office in Seattle, Washington, before transferring to Quantico. Before that, he was a prosecutor after earning his degree of Juris Doctor at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Hotch stated that his reason for joining the BAU was because he felt that, as a prosecutor, it was too late for him to do anything, but by joining the BAU, he has a chance to stop killers sooner. Hotch might have been abused as a child. Hotch's father was revealed to have died from lung cancer, he died of a heart attack at the age of 47.

He slouched in his leather chair, his fatigue evident in the way he pressed his hand against his eyes, shielding them from the harsh glow of the computer screen and the intrusive rays of sunlight pushing through the closed blinds.
His face wore a stern expression as he diligently signed one report after another. The jacket carelessly hung on the back of the chair like a weight lifted off his shoulders, his tie neatly tied, his white dress shirt looked very neat, small coffee stain on his cuff.
