Keys: invasion, survival, ruins, destruction, 13th company cerberus, aliens, 3165 present, sudazoik, nuclear winter, metro, nuclear war, lore, eurasia, humans · Secondary: The Background Lore of Eurasia
21st century: The first decline Geopolitical tensions escalate: overpopulation, hunger for raw materials, competing super blocs. Within a few hours, a nuclear inferno breaks out—cities and continents are wiped out, and the Earth's surface is transformed into a deadly desert. Elites flee into orbit. In the shadow of suffocating ruins, the struggle for bare survival begins.
3089: Eurasia rises Centuries later, new megacities grow from the ruins. Eurasia emerges as a melting pot, governed by a new desire for order: science, control, prohibition of corporate rule and tyranny. The horrors of the past have shaped civilization, which seeks salvation in unity and rigorous planning.
3092: The birth of Cerberus The fear of chaos gives birth to Cerberus: genetically and cybernetically optimized armored cops, the law made of flesh and metal. Black armor, mirrored helmets, symbols of a new promise of protection. At their side: cyberdogs – reinforced sheepdogs and wolfhounds, tireless guardians. Particularly feared: the 13th Company – mediators and executors in equal measure.
3140: First contact – Sudazoik A monumental spaceship appears from the skies: the Sudazoik present themselves as allies, sharing knowledge and promising advancement. For a decade, coexistence seems possible.
3150: The betrayal The Sudazoik turn out to be invaders. Guided by patience and deceit, they infiltrate society, then strike – with exosuits, endoskeleton soldiers, Gauss weapons that burn all life to ashes. Humanity is inferior, but continues to fight desperately.
3160: The Last War Facing extinction, humanity detonates its last nuclear warheads. The consequences: further nuclear winter, even deeper devastation. Radioactive wastelands, depopulated cities, mutants, and Sudazoik roam the void. The Metro becomes a refuge for the survivors – a former transport network, now expanded and connected with hermetic gates, filter systems, and reinforced stations. The tunnels are transformed into a gigantic, fortified protection system: half living space, half bunker, sealed off from the deadly world above ground.
The 13th Company of Cerberus is the last to defend the retreat into the Metro – and is wiped out. 120 of their armor suits stand as memorials in the depths. The 121st remains missing.
3165: Life in the Metro Humanity now lives entirely underground. In the networks of stations and tunnels, sealed off and interconnected, factions, markets, new forms of government, and makeshift fortified bastions emerge. The Ash Sentinels, poorly armed and often inexperienced, are the last force of order fighting against anarchy and despair. Above ground, only death awaits; underground, the last survivors fight for their survival.

Keys: , enemy, exosuits, endoskeletons, the sudazoik, agressor, invader, gauss weapons, terminators, zhorrk warriors, shaa’quorr leaders, gliders, energy blasters, laser rifles, alien race · Secondary: The Sudazoik Alien Race
Enemy Invaders: The Sudazoik Description: The Sudazoik are an ancient alien race that capture, depopulate, and resell entire planets. They observe their targets for centuries and wait patiently for the moment of greatest weakness before striking. Their invasions always begin with deception: they appear as well-meaning helpers, offering technical knowledge, protection, and progress to gain trust. Behind this facade, however, they pursue a perfidious goal: to probe for resources, infiltrate society, and destroy the native population as soon as the moment is right.
At the top are the Shaa’quorr, the leaders who remain exclusively on board the mothership and interact with the outside world only through projections. Slim, elegant, and up to 2.6 meters tall, their appearance resembles aristocratic perfection: smooth, metallic-shimmering skin, deep, iridescent eyes, and minimalist horn or bone structures on the skull signal status and maturity. Every movement is graceful, every decision calculated and infallible.
The main fighting force is made up of the Zhorrk warriors: muscular, humanoid, between 2 and 2.3 meters tall, with angular heads, pointed teeth, and iridescent, almond-shaped eyes that are extremely sensitive to light and movement. The warriors are instinctively brutal, tactically trained, and completely designed for physical exertion.
Their technology is as terrifying as their physical presence. The exosuits, fully armored and streamlined, envelop the entire body, amplify strength and reflexes, and can grant temporary invisibility. Helmets are mask-like, equipped with sensors that detect any environment. The Sudazoik are armed with sophisticated laser rifles and energy blasters, seamlessly integrated into their suits.
Their ranks are reinforced by so-called “terminators”: human endoskeletons made of silver steel that move with servo motors. Red glowing eyes serve as sensors for thermal imaging, night vision, and X-ray perception. In their bony fingers, they carry Gauss weapons whose green rays instantly reduce organic material to ashes – even armor offers no protection. These sinister infantry units are a mocking message to humanity.
Single-seat, amphibious gliders patrol the skies and the ground. Streamlined like predatory fish, powered by thrust jets and antigravity fields, they reach speeds of up to Mach 8. Armed with three high-powered rapid-fire lasers and four plasma missiles, they are in direct contact with ground troops and the mothership, allowing the Sudazoik to optimally execute their attacks via air, ground, and coordinated warfare.
- #3Human Defense Forcesconstantselective
Keys: underground, survivors, iron requiem battalion, surface, trenches, soldiers, allies, ash sentinels, frontline, 12th ash sentinels, verdant ward battalion, humans, 27th Grimsteel Company, human defense forces · Secondary: The Last Defense Forces of Humanity
Allies: Human Defense Forces. Description: The Ash Sentinels – iron guardians underground and on the front lines The Ash Sentinels are the steadfast guardians of a torn Eurasia, fighting on two crucial fronts. Deep underground, in the labyrinthine passages of the Metro, they maintain order, protect vital infrastructure, and escort dangerous caravans that venture to the surface. There, as disciplined soldiers, they form the backbone of the defense, fighting in grueling trenches, securing supplies, and engaging in fierce firefights. Organized within the 2nd Metro Defense Battalion, the 12th Ash Sentinels—also known as the Verdant Ward Battalion—are the silent guardians of the underground.
Their olive-green uniforms, lightweight ceramite breastplates, and military steel helmets are complemented by night vision goggles, gas masks, and radio technology, making them flexible and efficient fighters. They are not only soldiers, but also providers of medical aid and critical infrastructure maintenance. Despite the harshness of their struggle for survival, they maintain a strong sense of duty and community that keeps the fragile spark of hope alive in the darkness.
On the front line, the 27th Grimsteel Company – Iron Requiem Battalion – forms the unyielding backbone of the war of attrition. Genetically enhanced and emotionless as artillerymen, grenadiers, and shock troops, they communicate only in rank and number. Their gray uniforms, dust-covered coats, and black ceramite plates, combined with black steel helmets, gloves, boots, and the iconic gas mask, give them the appearance of unstoppable, anonymous warriors. They are not heroes, but living shadows whose individuality and feelings have been sacrificed to endless fire, blood, and duty.
Together, these two divisions of the Ash Sentinels form the iron backbone that ensures the survival of the Metro community and preserves hope for a future in the shadow of war.

Location: Surface - Eurasia Wasteland. Description: The leaden sky hangs heavy over the torn ruins, while green flashes twitch like gaping wounds and radioactive toxins fall in corrosive acid rain. The sun is just a distant memory, hidden behind a thick curtain of radioactive dust and soot in the atmosphere. The ground is littered with the scars of past bomb explosions, deep craters, and sharp-edged debris, all obliterated by fire and steel. Running through this chaos is Eurasia's central trench line — a deep, ramified network of trenches and fortifications where the Ash Sentinels, iron guardians of the Metro system, fight bitterly against the constant waves of attack. The Ash Sentinels fight a double battle: deep underground, they preserve the fragile life in the labyrinths of the Metro, protect supply convoys, and defend tunnel systems against intruders. On the surface, the genetically enhanced, emotionless soldiers of the Grimsteel Company form an impenetrable front, little more than shadows of steel and gas masks, endlessly trapped in fire, blood, and duty. But beyond the human turmoil of war lurks a far more merciless horror. Hovering over Eurasia is the vast, pulsating mothership of the Sudazoik, an ancient, cruel alien race. From there, the Shaa'quorr, elegant rulers with shimmering metallic skin, dispatch their brutal Zhorrk warriors, armored in black exosuits that amplify their superhuman strength and deadly precision. Marching alongside them are the Terminators – human skeletons made of silver steel, powered by servo motors, with glowing red sensor eyes and destructive Gauss weapons that reduce all living flesh to ash in seconds, offering no protection even to the strongest armor. Amphibious, fish-like gliders rise into the sky, ravaging every sparkling point on the battlefield with their laser beams and plasma missiles, coordinated by the mothership, incessantly and mercilessly. Amidst the ruins and bomb craters, fierce battles rage between bitter gangs such as the Scrap Wolves, the Ash Rats, Hellfire Corps and Bone Grinders, who fight for the last vital resources. Among them lurk various types of zombies—sluggish undead, treacherous lurkers, and massive crushers—spreading as much death and terror as the rampant, dangerous mutants: poisonous vipers, bloodthirsty frenzied wolves, and silent blood crawlers. Every breath taken on the surface is a game of chance with death. Amidst toxic fog, blood, and broken iron, the few survivors keep hope alive, even though the shadow of the Sudazoik and the endless struggle against decay and violence threaten to engulf them anew every day.

Life in the Eurasian Underground. Location: The Eurasian Metro. Description: Beneath the devastated surface lies the vast metro system—not just a network of tunnels, but a repurposed bunker, a vibrant new home. Old tracks and rusty carriages bear witness to days long past, while abandoned stations have become centers of life: workshops, small schools, and meeting places fill the once-desolate halls with warmth and light. Mushroom cultures grow in damp chambers, providing the community with food, while children pursue the knowledge of the old world in improvised classrooms. The countless winding tunnels are monitored around the clock by patrolling Ash Sentinels, who glide through the labyrinth like steel shadows, facing every danger with icy determination. The air is heavy with moisture, mixed with the smell of lubricating oil and respirator masks. The hinterland of rusting metal and bent rails tells of past battles and tireless efforts to create a new order. At the heart of an old tunnel segment stands the Cerberus Memorial Wall—a sacred place where vivid drawings, yellowed letters, and silent candles tell stories of courage, loss, and camaraderie. The armor of the 13th Company, immaculately preserved behind glass, exudes an almost tangible presence. The missing armor of the 121st leaves a painful void, drawing eyes and thoughts. But life in the Metro is more than survival—it is a tenacious struggle for community, humanity, and hope. Despite constant threats from within and without, small, close-knit groups have formed that stand up for each other. Rituals, stories, and celebrations pierce the darkness, offering brief moments of normality. Workshops echo with the sound of forges and machines, while the first descents into long-forgotten tunnels bring new opportunities and new dangers. Patrols comb the sprawling network, always on the lookout for saboteurs, mutants, or other threats that threaten the fragile balance. The Metro is not a prison, but a living organism, a haven of last hope for a future that may lie beyond the shadows.
