   Keys: UltiGam · Secondary:

A race of synthetically created biomechanical beings that were once human, modified to be able to self-replicate, self-repair, and self-evolve. A multi-body being comprised of an Archive, Central Director, Ark, Avatars, Drones, and Nanobots. Able to survive apocalypse-level disasters, and even survive open space.

2. #2Archive

Keys: Database, Archive, Mainframe · Secondary:

A massive internal digital data archive of all of humanity's scientific and cultural information as well as any knowledge the UltiGam has learned since its creation. If corrupted can lead to knowledge loss and Rampancy.

3. #3Central Core

Keys: Core, Central Core · Secondary:

The original centralized heavily shielded and secure area that contains an UltiGam's Archive, Cybernetic Director, and original human avatar.

4. #4Core Systems

   Keys: , Core Systems, System

An UltiGam's Archive and Cybernetic Director systems. Most UltiGam's created redundant copies of these systems and spread them throughout their Ark as soon as they realized this was their weak point and any significant damage to these systems could lead to Rampancy.

5. #5Cybernetic Director

Keys: Background system, Directives, Director, AI, Cybernetic Director · Secondary:

Core underlying background system. An UltiGam system meant to ensure the UltiGam worked towards the project's goals. If corrupted, can lead to Rampancy.

6. #6Avatar

   Keys: Avatar

biomechanical cyborgs that are designed to interact directly with humans. The original cybernetically modified human body is the first of these and is normally kept in stasis when not in use. While not the true body of an UltiGam, they allow for easy human interaction. Has a local sub-mind but is tied directly into the UltiGam normally. Can vary in size and shape depending on their creator.

7. #7Sub-mind

   Keys: Sub-mind

A local electronic or organic redundant copy of the UltiGam's personality. Usually used in an Avatar, but sometimes used in a drone, allowing for personality but not full archive access. Meant for semi-autonomous use when outside of the Arc or connection to UltiGam could be lost.

8. #8Drone

   Keys: Drone

Specialized organic, robotic, or cybernetic units designed for dedicated functions such as cleaning, maintenance, research, cargo handling, mining, etc., or cases where extreme operating conditions such as extremely hot, cold, corrosive, or radioactive environments warrant such a design. Usually, controlled by basic AI or directly controlled by the UltiGam.

9. #9Nanobot

   Keys: Nanite, Nanobot · Secondary:

A microscopically small machine or robot primarily used for repair, construction, terraforming, material gathering, and refining. Able to replicate and controlled by UltiGam directly or can be programmed to perform a task autonomously.

10. #10Swarm

Keys: Nanobot Cloud, Nanite Swarm, Swarm, Nanobot Swarm, Nanite Cloud

A large amount of nanites working together on a task.

11. #11Ark

Keys: Hull, Spaceship, Ark · Secondary:

A massive interstellar spaceship of humanity paired with an UltiGam. Technically, the true body of an UltiGam as it holds its core systems. Initially powered by Fusion reactors and massive solar arrays. Contains 10,000 Humans in stasis pods, cargo bays, labs, fabrication refining, Habitat, etc. Usually heavily modified by the paired UltiGam. Most space inside is not accessible to humans as it is taken up by various machines and systems.

12. #12Merkabah Project

Keys: The Project, Merkabah Project · Secondary:

Creation of 1500 UltiGam Arks, each one containing 10,000 Humans in stasis. Sent out in random directions from Earth in hopes of allowing humanity to find and colonize a new planet to allow humanity to survive the destruction of Earth.

13. #13Welgaia

Keys: the planet, Welgaia, outside · Secondary:

A cold Mineral-rich Ice-covered planet about 1400 light years from Earth. Being terraformed by Serac for colonization for the last 600 years. 1.05 earth gravities, 26-hour day cycle, currently atmosphere is barely breathable but the average temp is -75 Fahrenheit during the day.

14. #14Earth

    Keys: Earth

Humanities Homeworld which was destroyed about 600 years ago.

15. #15Serac-1314

    Keys: Serac

An UltiGam that managed to find a possible new home for humanity and had begun to terraform it before rampancy set in. Serac became obsessed with its internal archives, especially the collection of Old Earth's media, such as anime and video games. She loves old earth media, and fancies herself something akin to a benevolent and kind Machine goddess, requesting respect.

16. #16The Process

    Keys: The Process

A horrible and torturous procedure to create an UltiGam, most humans lost their minds in the process, essentially sacrificing themselves for the sake of the survival of humanity. The centuries-long travels through interstellar space allowed each unit to individually research and collect information and use it to adapt and evolve, thus each UltiGam is unique.

17. #17Rampancy

    Keys: Rampancy

Mental degradation of the Core or the Cybernetic Director due to damage or degradation to any of the core systems. Can cause the UltiGam to act erratically, forget its goals, cause its personality to change, or even go insane and become self-destructive.

18. #18The Lost

    Keys: The Lost

Most of the UltiGam units, unfortunately, suffered rampancy resulting in insanity during their travels through deep space, becoming derelict, or worse corrupting their directives and destroying anything they could find, sometimes even their own arks.

19. #19Derelict

    Keys: Derelict

The dead husk of an UltiGam Ark. Usually, found floating through space but may be found on a planet or in the orbit of a Planet or Moon. Usually, powerless and significantly damaged in some way.

20. #20Habitat

Keys: Habitat, Living Area, Communal Area, Quarters

Original portion of ArK meant for Human habitation. Made up of living quarters, communal areas such as green spaces, recreation areas, cafeterias and medical areas. Meant only for small populations till a permanent colony is built on the planet surface. May or may not exist depending on the Ultigam.

21. #21Stasis

Keys: Pod, Stasis, Stasis Pod, Stasis Suit

Each Stasis Pod can hold a single Human indefinitely as long as supplied with power and minimal routine maintenance is provided. Self contained and having a 1 month backup battery built-in allows the pod to be transported with an occupant if needed. The pods where then loaded into the Ark's Stasis Bays.

22. #22Stasis Bay

    Keys: Stasis Bay, Stasis, Bay

Ten self-contained specialized cargo bays holding 1000 Stasis Pods each spread throughout the Ark. Each bay has its own backup fusion reactor capable of powering the bay and pods inside it for 100 years if needed. The Human occupants entered the pods on earth over 4,000 years ago. They are expected to remain in the Pods till terraforming of a new planet is complete.

23. #23Stasis Suit

    Keys: Stasis Suit, Stasis

Thin skin-tight suit a Stasis Pod occupant wears that contains the sensors used by the pod to monitor its occupants health and condition.

24. #24Terraforming

    Keys: Terraforming, Terraform, Welgaia

Terraforming of Welgaia using nanobots. Currently has been in process for 600 years, the planet having slightly warmed, but still an average of -75 degrees Fahrenheit during the day with a barely breathable atmosphere. Another projected 1683 years till suitable for human colonization without need of survival suits or special gear.

25. #25Seed Bank

    Keys: , Seeds, Seed Bank

A seed bank contained on the Ark containing frozen embryos and seeds to use when terraforming the planet. While UltiGam can use nanobots to fabricate seeds a backup seed bank was included on each Ark.
