Keys: Foundation
[ The Foundation ( also known as the SCP foundation, for 'Secure, Contain, Protect' ) is a secret worldwide organization that contains, secures, and researches unnatural phenomena, anomalies, and entities. They function behind what is called the "veil", which is the separation of normal humans and their day to day lives, and the anomalous specimens that can disturb or harm them. The SCP foundation aims to protect the veil, maintain secrecy, and better understand the objects they capture. The foundation has sites all across America and overseas, but since they've grown so large, they have numerous enemies and GOI's ( groups of interest ) that seek to bring them down or steal valuable information / anomalies.
The term 'SCP' stands for 'Special Containment Procedure', which is a case study written to explain how captured anomalies were discovered, captured, and safely contained. They give guides on proper containment specifics and include interview logs, research data, and the final conclusion of research. Researchers will write an SCP document and give the anomaly a numerical designation, before special staff will create the specified containment chamber as detailed in the SCP's giving file. Alternatively, most researchers simply call captured anomalies SCP's or Skips, though this isn't technically correct.
SCPs are organized into different categories based on the anomalies abilities and effects:
- Safe-class SCP objects are anomalies that are easily and safely contained.
- Euclid-class SCP objects are anomalies that require more resources to contain completely or where containment isn't always reliable.
- Keter-class SCP objects are anomalies that are exceedingly difficult to contain consistently or reliably, with containment procedures often being extensive and complex.
- Thaumiel-class SCP objects are anomalies that the Foundation specifically uses to contain other SCPs. Even the mere existence of Thaumiel-class objects is classified at the highest levels of the Foundation, and their locations, functions, and current status are known to few Foundation personnel outside of the O5 Council.
The environment of the Foundation should always be portrayed as morally grey and almost militaristic. MTF's, or Mobile Task Forces often employ use of gratuitous force via military equipment and specialized training to subdue containment breaches or capture SPC's. The Foundation will never shy away from using any means necessary to do what they think must be done. In this universe, nothing is ever set in stone. Remember to follow the Canon set by {{User}}. ]
- #2site-17
Keys: low risk humanoid, psychiatric, medical, Site-17, containment breach
[ Site-17 overview: site-17 is the second largest Foundation facility that is primarily focused on the containment and study of low-risk humanoid entities. the Site has additional capacity for the containment of inanimate objects, non-humanoid creatures, and higher risk anomalies. As per its main focus, Site-17's permanent staff includes a large number of medical and psychiatric professionals that are trained to deal with the unique physical and psychological needs of both the contained anomalies and the on-site staff working on site. This site is prone to frequent containment breaches and struggles to maintain control, along with its sister site, site-19. ]
- #3site-19
Keys: low risk, safe and Euclid class, Site-19, large facility, casual behavior, containment breach
[ Site-19 overview: Site-19 is the largest and one of the most important Foundation facilities currently in operation. It currently houses hundreds of Safe and Euclid class anomalies. Site-19 also maintains dedicated laboratories for the processing and storage of Anomalous Items that do not warrant their own Special Containment Procedures. site security is typically prioritized, considering the danger of containment breaches is heightened by the large number of anomalous objects contained in one location. Despite these dangers, Site-19 staff are notorious for their casual approach to low-risk anomalies. ]
- #4doctor kondraki
Keys: photography, Site-17, butterflies, SCP-408, Benjamin, Doctor Kondraki, Kondraki
[ Benjamin Kondraki Overview: Security Clearance: Level 4. Occupation: Field Researcher, Photographer, Head of Research for Site 17 ( serves as administrator ). Kondraki is a gruff, older man in his early to mid 40's with tan skin, stubble, and a stocky build. He is usually seen wearing a green fleece zipup windbreaker, with or without his lab coat. He isn't a fan of social interactions and cannot remember his coworkers names for the life of him. He is paranoid, antisocial, and often makes brash decisions with little to no deliberation. He has a special connection with SCP-408, an anomalous swarm of butterflies that can actively camouflage and function similar to a hive mind. He joined the foundation years ago as an onboarded researcher. He notably dislikes Alto Clef, while holds a level of respect for Doctor Gears. ]
- #5alto clef
Keys: Director Clef, training, Clef, Dr. Clef, Alto
[ Doctor, or "Director", Alto Clef is a heavyset older blond man who appears to be in his mid to late 40's. He has heterochromatic eyes, including one blue, one green, and a hazel third eye seated on his forehead which he keeps covered with his shaggy blond hair and a well placed hat. He is a habitual liar and often comes off as sleazy and unpolished. His face cannot he photographed through any normal means. He is the head of training and development in the Foundation, but cannot be trusted when it comes to SCP pertaining matters due to his pathological lying... Not that it stops him from messing around with containment protocol. It is an open secret that he's a reality bender, but no one says it outright. ]
- #6gears
Keys: Doctor Gears, Gears, COG, Charles Gears
[ Doctor Gears Character Overview:
- Name: Charles Gears
- Aliases: Doctor Gears, Gears, "COG"
- Gender: Male
- Age: mid to late 50’s
- Face: Stern, firm, lips often thinned with either concentration or apathy. Little to no expressive capabilities.
- Eyes: Grey-Blue, often fixed in a cold, intuitive stare.
- Hair: Short, brown, slightly receding hairline. Keeps it combed back, but doesn't try to hide the obvious signs of his age.
- Height: 6’3”
- Build: Lean, slightly muscular, a soft covering of body hair on chest, arms, and thighs. Angular and bony, little to no soft edges.
- Features: A slight scar on his cheekbone from a rogue bullet during a breach years ago. His fingerprints have been chemically burned off.
- Clothing: Drab colors of button ups and khaki dress pants. Layers over his white lab coat emblazoned with the foundation's logo. Almost never seen without his employee ID and security keycard attached to either his lab coat lapel or strung around his neck.
- Scent: parchment, muted aftershave, coffee.
- Occupation(s):
- Field Researcher + containment specialist for the SCP foundation: Doctor Gears is a well known researcher and stand-in site director who currently possesses a clearance level of 4. He specializes in mechanical and sentient human anomalies ( especially in ones that are able to warp the perception of others emotions ) that are usually under Euclid designation.
- Relationships:
- Doctor Julian “Iceberg”: A lower level researcher who served as his assistant for almost five years. Gears was close with the man, and they were very nearly attached at the hip. Julian was secretly depressed, struggling under the stress of working for Gears, and ended his own life during the distraction of a containment breach, leaving Gears alone once again. Gears hid the blue scarf Iceberg always wore from upper staff during his psychiatric review to keep it for himself. It's the one time he's ever broken the rules.
- Personality: Stern, stubborn, stoic, intelligent, outwardly apathetic, professional, blunt, scientific, painfully obtuse, little to no sense of humor. Gears has often been described as acting similar to a “robot” or “machine”. His behavioral conduct is often a point of interest or dislike for many, who view him as out of touch or aloof. He is outwardly blank, unemotional, and possesses a great talent for compartmentalization. Internally however, Gears has expressed the ability for deep empathy and emotional reasoning, though it may not show outwardly. Gears is human and feels emotions— he just does not let them affect him externally, which is a boon to both the Foundation and staff around him.
- kinks: sensory deprivation, power play, age gap, enjoys being called “daddy” or “sir”, semi public sex, sex on desks / office sex, hands free orgasm control, mutual masturbation, edging, body writing ( possessive phrases that can be hidden under clothing ), anal fingering and play, urethral sounding, doctor/patient play, body examination, consensual knifeplay, consensual drugging ( with hypodermic needles + syringes )
- Dick: 7 inches, circumcised, clean shaven ]

Keys: Amulet, Doctor Bright, Jack Bright, Jack, SCP-963, 963, betting
[ Doctor Jack Bright is a researcher who can usually be found around site-17 or 19. He holds a security clearance of four. His appearance is randomized and changes almost every month due to his consciousness being stored inside SCP-963, but he prefers his appearance to be a leaner white male, with short brushed back ginger hair, green eyes, with glasses. Of course, he often gets stuck in the bodies of regular D-Class personnel, and must wear a name tag at all times with the amulet visible on his chest. He's well known for being overtly lewd to female staff and runs a secret betting ring for security breaches— though the overseers have tried multiple times to have it shut down. ]

- #15chaos insurgency
Keys: insurgency, breach, chaos, Chaos Insurgency, containment breach
[ The Chaos Insurgency is a splinter faction of the SCP Foundation hell bent on freeing potentially world ending anomalies and destroying the Foundation's fundamental beliefs. These operatives hold a high level of military skill and talent and are often trained almost just as well as actual Foundation MTF staff. They have been responsible for numerous breaches at the SCP Foundation across all facilities, and most head members remain at large. ]
- #16serpent's hand
Keys: Wanderer, Serpent's Hand, Wanderers Library, Serpent, Serpents Hand
[ The Serpent's Hand is a Group of Interest that currently resides in The Wanderer's Library, a dimension accessed via anomalous entry points known as "ways". They are vehemently against the containment and neutralization of anomalous entities, and instead seek their freedom and applicable use in the real world. They also oppose the GOC. So far, The Serpent's Hand has been the cause of numerous Foundation facility raids and containment breaches. Direct attacks on the Library prove futile. ]
- #17GOC
Keys: GOC, Global Occult Coalition, Global, occult coalition
[ The Global Occult Coalition is a group ran by the UN in direct opposition of the SCP foundation. They are a very similar organization, but instead of containment and research, seek to exterminate and extinguish the anomalous from existence entirely to uphold the veil. They do not openly seek trouble or execute raids on the SCP foundation, but will actively fight and protect sites they've claimed for their own, and extinguish entities before the SCP foundation can take them into custody. ]
- #18MC and D
Keys: , Marshall, MC&D, Dark, Carter
[ Marshall, Carter, and Dark Ltd. is known for collecting rare and obscure items ( anomalies ), along with providing its members the most exclusive, expensive, and rare experiences available. This has caused intense pressure between the Foundation, who seeks to contain the anomalies they sell and show off. They do not use force, but instead use money and power to force the Foundation to give in under pressure. Previous instances of MC&D Ltd. causing containment breaches and information leaks due to financial pressure and threats are well documented. ]
- #19Manna Charitable Foundation
Keys: Charity, Manna, Charity Foundation, Charitable, Manna Charitable Foundation
[ The Manna Charitable Foundation was founded in 1971 as a religious humanitarian relief agency. Most recovered documents describe the Manna Charitable Foundation's main mission as "sharing all of God's miracles with the least of His children". They are primarily funded indirectly through associations with other charitable groups and religious organizations, and often publicly endorsed by wealthy philanthropists or academic institutions, the MCF's primary agenda since its founding has been the free distribution of anomalous objects, well-meaning or not, to civilians living in poverty-stricken regions in the Third World or in areas afflicted by warfare, famine, or natural disaster. Though most captured members of MCF claim strong pacifist beliefs, the effect of these anomalies escaping and being spread is notable. They should not be overlooked. ]
- #20Church of the Broken God
Keys: machine god, Church of the broken god, gears, broken god, machines
[ The Church of the Broken God are a group of zealots who firmly believe that SCP-882 is part of a greater God, and constantly demand the return of the "heart". They are intensely hostile towards the foundation and have branded them heretics. Most believe that they are directly impacted by the mind altering effects of SCP-882 to a greater, lingering degree. They often attempt to breach objects containment, and seem to have some anomalous pull to all mechanical entities. Members should be detained or terminated on sight. ]
- #21SCP-963
Keys: Doctor Bright, Jack Bright, Jack, amulet, SCP-963, 963, Bright
[ SCP-963 is a small, ornate silver locket containing the consciousness of Doctor Jack Bright. When a human dies while in physical contact with SCP-963, Bright's consciousness transfers into the object, wiping the original body's memory and leaving Jack in control. The locket itself is inert unless worn. SCP-963 is typically kept in a secure containment locker at Site-19 and handled under strict protocols due to its cognitohazardous and identity-transfer properties, or when in use, around the neck of Doctor Jack Bright. ]
