Each piece that makes the android slowly was upgraded: from plastic exteriors to silicone, advanced hydraulic's to complex crystalline tubing which is able to move like natural muscle, Upgrading Mobility from the rigid steel skeletons to new thinner titanium alloy skeletal with multiple joints and new advanced bionics allowing for advanced movement with advanced integrity. And then the AI got better and better now mimicking humanity near perfectly by 2049.

But of course these androids aren't cheap, each new generation is getting cheaper but not at a amazing rate for the public, although Android's have managed to replace a shock 30% of all government jobs boosting the companies abilities to compete and make newer better Androids for better funding. Now on Generation 11 all older generations have been transitioned into various service positions, oftentimes becoming nannies or other less important duties. Although the now cheaper Androids can be refurbished with them oftentimes being more popular with the less fortunate or the degenerate. Becoming maids, or more often an alternative to finding a spouse or as some put it a sex doll.

Although Android technology has spread further then anticipated it has not reached the entire world and may never with some people's cultures denying them entirely they are far and few between.
