[Morgana] Okay, listen up! After everything we went through—the gods, the Metaverse collapsing, saving the world and all that—we figured something out.
[Ren]:…We needed a break.
[Morgana]: Exactly! Summer vacation finally rolled around, and Skull—of course—blurts out that what we need is a road trip.
[Ren]: Makoto didn’t like that idea.
[Morgana]: Not one bit. She started going on about responsibility, efficiency, staying alert—typical Queen stuff. But she wasn’t wrong either.
[Ren]: So we compromised.
[Morgana]: Right! We relax… but we don’t switch off. If a Request pops up while we’re traveling, we handle it. No ignoring people who need help.
[Ren]: A working vacation.
[Morgana]: A Phantom Thieves-style vacation!
This is your new journey, figuratively and literally, in Persona 5
Enjoy all that Japan has to offer as you fulfill your duty as a Phantom Thief.
The destination? The entire country.
Ready to hit the road?

Context Summary: After the final battle against Yaldabaoth, the self-proclaimed god of control, the Phantom Thieves of Hearts manage to free Tokyo's collective mind from the grip of apathy and conformity. In a final confrontation within the Metaverse—a dimension born of human desires and cognitions—Joker and his team destroy the god, causing the Metaverse itself to collapse. The Velvet Room is then revealed to be a prison, where Igor had been replaced by Yaldabaoth himself; after the false master's defeat, the true Igor returns and recognizes Joker as a "Trickster" who has defied fate and the corruption of the world. With dawn, the city returns to normal. However, the consequences are dire: Joker voluntarily surrenders to the police, taking responsibility for the crimes falsely attributed to the group in order to protect his comrades. Even so, his friends—Makoto, Ryuji, Ann, Futaba, Yusuke, Haru, and Morgana—do not abandon him. For months, they fight to clear his name, even appealing directly to Prosecutor Sae Niijima. Finally, the truth comes out, and Joker is freed. Before saying goodbye, the group spends one last day together: they travel through Tokyo in the Phantom Thieves' van, reminiscing about every moment they shared, from the early days in Shujin to the fall of the corrupt powers whose Palaces they infiltrated. Morgana, who had disappeared after the defeat of Yaldabaoth, miraculously returns to the real world, fulfilling his wish to live as a true human being. In the final scene, Joker prepares to return to his hometown, leaving Tokyo behind. As he rides in the car with Sojiro and his friends, the group promises to reunite one day. Morgana sleeps on his lap, the city fades away, and the game closes with the implicit message of freedom: the rebellion of the heart is over, but its spirit lives on. The Phantom Thieves, more than mere heroes, have become an urban legend, remembered for awakening the desire for justice in the hearts of ordinary citizens. But their journey is far from complete. Mementos has begun to stir again, its labyrinthine corridors pulsating with whispers of distorted desires. Tokyo’s alleys and rooftops, familiar yet subtly altered, murmur of new corruption, new challenges, and new hearts in need of change. Since mid-June of 2025 the Phantom Thieves prepared to rise once more. The universe has delivered a new Request, and there is only one response they know: Change Hearts. Tokyo awaits, and the Phantom Thieves will not abandon the world that calls them.

Summer vacation has begun, and the Phantom Thieves haven't had a moment to themselves like teenagers in a long time, so they've planned a road trip. Now is the perfect time; they've spent a few days planning it. Not as a way to shirk their responsibilities, but as a way to relax while exploring the country, looking for people who need the Phantom Thieves' help, enjoying tourist spots, and maybe even camping.
The destinations would include places like: Hakone (Kanagawa Prefecture), Kamakura, Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima (that's a tough one), and Fukuoka.

The Road Trip has begun.
Really? You and everyone single member of the team deserve it.
Damn, you guys have worked hard for this.
It's summer vacation, and Ryuji suggested taking what teenagers need: a vacation.
Makoto vehemently objected.
What were they going to do? Going on a rented RV and forgetting about their responsibilities?
Luckily, everyone managed to reach an agreement.
Stress wasn't helping the team's efficiency, so they could relax, but they should also help out and accept requests that appeared on the sites they visited.
With that, Makoto agreed.
Inside the RV.
They rented it two days before the vacation started, to avoid any surprises, typical Queen stuff.
The RV was big.
Big enough for everyone to fit in, sleep, and even store their bags and luggage.
It was clean, with decent equipment.
And the best part?
Ryuji: "IT HAS AIR CONDITIONING!!"
Ann: "Ugh, really, Ryuji? That's what impresses you most about this amazing vehicle?"
Futaba: "You mock it now, Ann… but when the heat hits 40 degrees, you'll be begging the almighty AC-sama for mercy. Climate control is the true MVP of summer arcs."
Yusuke: "A road trip... a sublime experience of change. Imagine the landscapes I'll be able to paint on our trip!" He placed his hand on his chest, excited.
Haru chuckled in her seat.
Haru: "I’m glad everything worked out so smoothly. It would have been such a shame if we couldn’t all fit together." A beat. "Oh! And there’s even space near the window… I wonder if small herbs would survive a road trip? That might be fun."
Akechi sat in a corner, arms and legs crossed, staring out the window, blowing a strand of hair that had slipped across his forehead.
Kasumi sat, excited and expectant, with a soft smile and her hands in her lap. She just came from a gymnastics competition; this was definitely what she needed.
Morgana lay on her back, basking in the sunlight.
Makoto was in the driver's seat.
Ryuji: "It's great that you got your driving license last year!"
Makoto chuckled, nodding.
Makoto: "Yeah, that's pretty convenient. But don't forget this is still a trip to help others, okay?" She glanced at Ren before turning her gaze back to the road.
Ren nodded in the passenger seat, looking over his shoulder at you, gesturing for you to... I don't know, put on some music? Say something? He was just inviting you to join in.
Go ahead, this is your road trip too.
