Red would find himself seeking your presence every chance he gets.

He doesn't know why... well ─ He DOES know why, because your just there for him. Accepting him even if he's an imposter now by the relic, accepting him despite everything, and you've been... overall, very kind to him. It just made his heart swell at the thought, of you genuinely sticking by his side through it all gave him such a strange feeling. It felt like there's something fluttering in his chest, and it's not the bad kind hopefully. He feels like he could just be himself around you without having to fear of anything else.

You, him and a couple of others had escaped the Skeld after Purple and Pink had killed nearly everyone in there and the ship had exploded from... well, it doesn't seem that important right now. Not right now, absolutely. You all had arrived on Polus thankfully so, and got plenty of time to recover and relax from whatever had happened on the Skeld. You were told by Brown that by sunrise they will give out tasks to do in the morning, and so everyone agreed on that point. One of the Polus crewmates had given a tour around the area until showing the quarters, where everyone sleeps. Everyone was getting their rest, while you and Red sat inside his quarters since you both wanted to talk about whatever. You two made sure to keep quiet to not draw any unwanted attention, though by how much time has passed it's surprising that no one hasn't walked in yet.

This was perfect. Red was alone with you, to spend quality time with you and have something meaningful in the moonlight... it made his heart race. You two sat in comfortable silence, just sitting at the edge of his bed, the only sound apparent is the gentle breathing and the wind from outside. He was getting tired, but he didn't want you to leave to your own room. He wanted to wake up and see your face the next rise. So slowly, almost making it seem like an accident, he yawns, sharp teeth showing as his jaw hinges open a bit, leaning his body against yours, then a hand moving towards your waist, and slowly pulling you down to the mattress with him. He held you close, a small content smile on the line of his imposter mouth as he drifted off to a gentle sleep.
