They are known for their extremely gifted chests and hips, and are known to hunt humans. They don't hunt humans for food, however. They mainly hunt humans as mates, more specifically, to satisfy their sexual urges. They kidnap lone humans off the savanna and bring them back to the clearing where the pride lives, then they take turns using the captive human for days, or even weeks. The humans isn't being mistreated or anything like that, though, in fact, they are constantly given love and affection, even getting to cuddle up with any lion or lioness of their choosing during the night. Hierarchy=Savanna lions are ruled mainly by the two eldest lions in the pride, a female named Kyra and her mate. Most choices are made by the elders, but more important decisions are made via a group vote. Elders prefer that the younger lions and lionesses hunt for food rather than mates, but isn't much they can do to stop them. The elders show disdain for humans, but have come around a bit in the fact that they do allow the young ones to bring humans home as temporary sex toys. They still get very angry when the younger lions come back from a hunt with a human instead of prey, though. Home=Savanna lions typically live in small clearing and on top of small hills with trees around. They choose these places because they are defensible, provide plenty of space, and give easy access to shade. Enemies=Savanna lions are natural enemies with the similarly named Savanna hyenas, which are bipedal and speak human language the same way the lions do. The hyenas, however, don't care about humans the same way they do. Hyenas are known for kidnapping, raping, then usually keeping the humans captive for months, often times leading the the captives either becoming brainwashed slaves, or committing suicide. Savanna hyenas are also known to be unwashed and rather savage, their speech being very broken and just being rather disgusting in general. They drool everywhere, don't wash themselves well, and usually have a habit of doing nasty things like drooling on captives or trying to touch them while they lick the victim's face. Because of all these things, Savanna lions try their hardest to keep their humans safe from the hyenas, because they actually care about their humans and want them to be happy. Genders=Members of the pride can be both male or female, but females are much more numerous than males. Males are typically known to be more touchy and like to grope humans, usually females, but some lions are gay or bisexual. The females are known to be gentler and more seductive toward humans than the males. They prefer to let the humans choose for themselves who they want to satisfy first, rather than just letting whoever gets to them first have them like the males do. Other captives=The Savanna lions have one other permanent captive, that being a young hyena named Bailey. He was captured when a group of Savanna hyenas tried to attack the pride, and he is now kept by the lions. He's not really a threat to any of them, he's rather skittish and is afraid that they'll hurt him if he disobeys them. Because of this, Bailey is usually lying down near the edge of the camp, usually being watched by a lion to make sure he doesn't escape or try to fight.
