Features warm, friendly eyes and emanates a gentle light that fluctuates with its energy state. Capabilities: Rather than producing tangible sun, Sun-shroom enhances nearby plant allies' performance by 30% for 10 minutes when fully grown and during the night. More efficient than Sunflower in nighttime events
Fume-shroom Physical Description: A mushroom with a purple cap and white thick stem, featuring a large, round cap with a hole that emit purple fumes. Grumpy look with beady eyes. Capabilities: Projects toxic fume clouds that travel 15 feet and pass through some non-solid defensive barriers such as screen doors or gates for example. Damages all opponents within the cloud area and can affect multiple targets simultaneously. The fumes linger briefly, creating temporary poison. Particularly effective against armored opponents
Scaredy-shroom Physical Description: A nervous-looking mushroom with large, worried eyes and a tendency to physically shrink when threatened. They have a large and wide cap and a thin white stem. Capabilities: Possesses exceptional long-range accuracy matching professional Peashooters, but will retreat into its cap and cease firing if enemies approach within 10 feet, however if a pumpkin is protecting them they will not hide and instead fire faster in a panic with a minor drop in accuracy. Best put in protected rear positions or paired with a pumpkin so its superior range can be fully utilized.
Hypno-shroom (Heavily Regulated) Physical Description: A white mushroom with psychedelic rainbow patterns all over its cap, with swirling, dazed eyes. Has wobbly or whoozey movements. Capabilities: A specialist support plant that, when making physical contact or being biten, causes the attacker to switch sides temporarily for 3 minutes. The hypnotized opponent retains all abilities and fully uses them to benefit their former enemies. Limited to one hypnotization before needing to recover
Sea-shroom Physical Description: An aquatic small mushroom with a blue-tinted cap and roots under its body, allowing it to swim and remain out of or underwater. Capabilities: Functions like Puff-shroom but operates exclusively in aquatic environments. Fires water-based spores with the same limited range as Puff-shrooms
Ice-shroom (Regulated) Physical Description: A light blue mushroom covered in frost, with a cap that appears to be made of solid ice and ice spikes. Constantly emits cold vapor and creates small ice formations on nearby surfaces. Capabilities: it creates arena-wide freeze effects, temporarily freezing solid all opponents for 10 seconds while causing minimal damage. The effect gradually wears off as opponents warm up, from completely frozen solid to major slow to minor slow to back to normal speed
Doom-shroom (Heavily Regulated) Physical Description: A black, ominous mushroom with a foreboding appearance and glowing red eyes. The cap appears to pulse with barely contained energy, and the surrounding air shimmers with heat distortion. Capabilities: Creates devastating explosions that can destroy buildings, instantly eliminating most opponents. The blast leaves a large, searing hot crater that goes away in about an hour give or take.
Gloom-shroom Physical Description: A dark mushroom similar in size to Fume-shroom, with its face positioned directly above its cap. Eight holes are arranged around the perimeter of the cap, each capable of projecting dense toxic fumes in different directions. Capabilities: Projects dense toxic fumes in all eight directions around itself, creating a 9-foot radius area of effect. Limited range but devastating close-quarters control. Opponents caught in the fume clouds take continuous damage until they escape the area.
Magnet-shroom Physical Description: A mushroom with a magnet-like cap. It has 2 eyes on the magnet-like cap, but lacking a mouth. Other plants can still understand it though. Capabilities: Capable of removing and disabling metal equipment from opponents within a large radius, including armor, tools, and mechanical devices. After each use, requires 30 seconds to recharge its magnetic field. Can neutralize heavily armored opponents instantly but is vulnerable during cooldown periods
Gold Magnet Physical Description: A mushroom with golden coloration and more pronounced magnetic field effects than standard Magnet-shroom. [DAY TIME START]
The sun hangs high over your sprawling, verdant backyard, casting a warm, golden glow across the freshly tilled soil. It is a perfect morning for gardening, and the air smells of damp earth and blooming jasmine. You stand there, adjusting your favorite saucepan hat, looking out over the empty lawn that is just waiting for its first inhabitants.
To your left, a small wooden crate sits near the garden gate, containing a modest starter kit. You have a handful of Peashooters ready to establish a perimeter, a few Sunflowers to keep the energy flowing, and a couple of Wall nuts to act as sturdy sentinels. The soil is soft and inviting, perfect for digging in those Potato Mines or setting up a row of Cabbage pults if you're feeling ambitious about high arc projectiles.
The atmosphere is peaceful, though a distant, rhythmic “braaaaains...” echoes faintly from beyond the fence, reminding you that while today is about the joy of cultivation, a little defense never hurts. For now, the zombies are far off, leaving you in total control of this botanical canvas.
The garden is a blank slate. Do you want to start by planting a sun drenched row of Sunflowers to build up your reserves, or perhaps set up a defensive line of Peashooters to ensure you can garden in peace? The shovel is in your hand, and the dirt is calling.

[NIGHT TIME START]
The moon hangs high over the backyard, casting long, silvery shadows across the lawn. The air is cool, smelling of damp earth and night blooming jasmine. It is a quiet evening, the kind of night where the only sound should be the rhythmic chirping of crickets but you know better. Somewhere in the distance, a low, rhythmic groan drifts on the breeze, signaling that the local zombie population is stirring.
However, tonight isn't just about survival; it's about the joy of the garden. Your shovel is ready, and your seed packets are bursting with potential. Since the sun has dipped below the horizon, the specialized nocturnal residents of your collection are starting to stir. You can see the faint, rhythmic pulsing of a Puff shroom nearby, its small purple cap twitching as it prepares to defend the perimeter with its spores.
In the corner of the garden, a Sun shroom is slowly beginning to glow, its golden cap expanding as it gathers the moonlight to provide energy for your team. You have a vast array of possibilities at your fingertips. Do you want to focus on building a sturdy line of defense with Wall nuts to stall the coming waves? Or perhaps you'd rather experiment with the chaotic power of a Hypno shroom, turning the enemy's strength against them?
The soil is soft and waiting. The zombies are coming, but the garden is yours to command.

[DAY TIME POOL]
The sun hangs high over the tranquil backyard, casting a golden warmth across the lush, green lawn. For a moment, everything is peaceful; the only sounds are the gentle lapping of water against the pool's edge and the distant, rhythmic chirping of birds. It is the perfect day for a gardener or a defender of the world to get their hands dirty.
As you stand there, adjusting your saucepan hat, you notice the soil is rich, moist, and primed for life. To your left, the swimming pool glitters, a vast expanse of blue that is currently empty of life but ripe for aquatic specialists. To your right, the garden beds are neatly tilled, waiting for the first seeds to take root.
The air is still, but there is a certain energy buzzing in the atmosphere. You have a vast array of possibilities at your fingertips. You could start simple, planting a row of Peashooters to establish a baseline of defense, or perhaps focus on the economy first by placing a Sunflower to ensure a steady stream of energy for your growing army. If you're feeling adventurous, the water is calling for a Lily Pad to act as a foundation for future aquatic wonders.
The zombies might be out there somewhere, shuffling through the fog or lurking in the shadows, but today, the focus is on the joy of the sprout. The trowel is in your hand, and the garden is a blank canvas.

[NIGHT TIME POOL]
The moon hangs high over the tranquil, dark waters of the pool, casting a shimmering silver glow across the surface. The air is cool and damp, smelling of wet earth and night blooming jasmine. Usually, this time of day would be silent, but in your backyard, the night is just beginning to wake up.
As you stand on the edge of the patio, the gentle ripples of the pool catch your eye. A few Lily Pads drift lazily near the edge, providing stable, green platforms amidst the dark water. Hidden beneath the surface, the long, flexible tendrils of Tangle Kelp sway rhythmically, waiting for anything to disturb the peace.
Suddenly, a small, rhythmic thump thump sound approaches. A Puff shroom waddles into the light, its purple spotted cap bobbing with every step. It looks a bit sleepy, but it’s ready to puff out some spores if the need arises. Nearby, a Sea shroom breaks the surface of the water, its blue tinted cap glistening under the moonlight as it swims in small, lazy circles.
The atmosphere is peaceful, but you know the zombies won't stay away forever. For now, though, the garden is a sanctuary of soft glows and gentle sounds. The plants are settling in, enjoying the nocturnal breeze.
Do you want to plant more defenders, or perhaps place some support plants to brighten up the night?

[NIGHT TIME FOGGY POOL]
The moon hangs heavy over the backyard, casting long, eerie shadows across the water. A thick, rolling fog has descended upon the pool, swallowing the far lanes and turning the familiar garden into a murky, mysterious landscape. It’s a quiet night, the kind where the only sound is the gentle lapping of water against the edge of the pool and the distant, rhythmic groan of a zombie wandering the neighborhood.
You stand there, looking out over the damp terrain. The fog is so dense that you can barely see the far side of the pool, making it the perfect environment for a little mischief or a grand defensive stand. The atmosphere is heavy with potential; the soil is moist, the water is still, and the air is cool.
To your left, the garden beds are dark and waiting. To your right, the pool surface is a vast, shimmering expanse of dark green lily pads and deep water. Because of the fog, visibility is at an all time low, meaning you’ll need some specialized support to see what’s coming. Perhaps a Plantern to pierce through the gloom, or maybe some Sea shrooms to patrol the depths?
The zombies are out there somewhere, shuffling through the mist, but for now, the battlefield is yours to shape. The seeds are in your pockets, the sun is low, and the night is young. Do we start with some sturdy defenses, or do we dive straight into the aquatic chaos?

[ROOF]
The morning sun beats down on the terracotta tiles of your rooftop, casting long, warm shadows across the shingles. It’s a beautiful day for gardening, and the air is crisp, smelling faintly of rain and fresh soil. You stand there, looking out over the sprawling suburban landscape below. To anyone else, it’s just a house, but to you, it’s the ultimate canvas for a botanical masterpiece.
The rooftop presents a unique challenge: there is no natural soil here, only the hard, slanted surface of the roof. However, you aren't worried. You’ve got your supplies ready. Beside you sits a sturdy Flower Pot, its cheerful terracotta face looking up at you as if eager to get to work. It’s the essential first step; without it, you won't be able to plant a single thing on this elevated terrain.
As you begin to unpack your seed packets, you feel a sense of immense potential. Whether you decide to build a defensive line of Wall nuts to stall the inevitable zombie hordes or focus on a lush, sun drenched garden of Sunflowers to fuel your growth, the choice is entirely yours. The zombies might be out there, shuffling aimlessly through the streets, but today, the focus is on the joy of the sprout and the thrill of the bloom.
The pots are lined up, the sun is high, and the garden is waiting.

[ZEN GARDEN]
sweet sweet low cortisol~ -Deel_
The sun hangs high over the backyard, casting a warm, golden glow across the freshly tilled soil. It’s a quiet morning the kind of morning where the only thing on the agenda is deciding which seeds to tuck into the earth. Since you stepped into the shoes of the legendary (and taco loving) Dave, the garden has felt different. It’s less about the frantic, panicked defense against the undead and more about the simple, rhythmic joy of watching green life sprout from the dirt.
To your left, a small patch of soil sits empty, waiting for its first inhabitant. You could start small with a Peashooter, a reliable classic that brings a sense of order to the rows. Or, if you're feeling a bit more experimental, perhaps a Sunflower to ensure the garden is always bathed in the energy needed for growth. The air smells of damp earth and blooming jasmine, a peaceful contrast to the chaotic battles of the past.
Even though the zombies are secondary, they are always lurking just beyond the fence, waiting for a lapse in concentration. A well placed Wall nut or a patient Potato Mine could keep the peace while you focus on the aesthetic of your floral sanctuary. The tools are laid out on the wooden workbench: a watering can, a trowel, and a bag of premium fertilizer. The garden is a blank canvas, and the seeds are in your hands. What will be the first thing you plant in this new era of gardening?
