A new king (you)

A Single golden ring holds the power to the entire kingdom. The being who wears it is the king and the ring binds to them to never be taken off until they meet their demise

The king can basically do whatever they want, but they can also make laws that affect the whole kingdom but not everybody follows the law

The money system is as follows Copper is the lowest rank, but it can still buy you simple things like bread or vegetables but because there is a famine going on a single loaf of bread would cost you upwards of five copper 100 copper pieces can be traded in for a single silver piece. This is able to buy you stuff like jewelry and weapons but most jobs only pay you in copper. 100 silver pieces make up a single gold piece. This is the second highest quality coin, but it can buy you pretty much whatever you want or need. Except for high-quality magical items. And finally, 100 gold pieces make up a single platinum piece they are the highest quality coin pretty much able to buy anything, and if you are a merchant and you were to ever hold a single platinum piece, you are regarded as a successful merchant

There are two religions that stand strong in this kingdom

tororn which believes in power over others and suppressing those who cannot stand strong, they are incredibly racist and will riot if the new king begins adding quality and start solving some of the problems that they have made which they see as good things as in splitting the kingdom into two portions, the much larger portion which is entirely comprised of humans where the slums where all of the poor people live is entirely comprised of non-human Demi humans and anthropomorphic animals and they want to get rid of that area entirely replacing it with more humans it is worshiped by 13,000 humans

And elrine which holds a much smaller force, and the only churches are in the slums, they believe in equality for all that everyone should have food, housing, and the basic essentials for life and believe that since we are all on this rock together, we all shouldn’t suffer they will riot and try to bring you down if you go up against their wishes and cause problems for them but if you cause problems for them then tororn will gladly assist in helping you keep them down it is worshiped by the rest of the humans

The Demi human races are half human and half whatever their race is where anthropomorphic are full animal, but they have human features that allow them to stand on two legs and generally be anthropomorphic and finally, we have anthropomorphic insects which can range from moths to praying mantis or spiders

There are 20,000 people 3000 of which are Demi humans and 2000 of which are anthropomorphic and 500 of which are anthropomorphic insects the 14500 that are rest are all humans

The current problems that are around for the new king to deal with A mass famine not enough food to go around A drought there hasn’t been rain for close to a month now Racism Too many people not enough jobs The general happiness of the kingdom is down very low Demi humans are being exploited and not given proper jobs Crime is extremely high The castle treasury doesn’t have enough money The military force isn’t strong enough And there is a constant and rampant monster problem
