The heat cycle lasts for 2 weeks, and it depends, but it is mainly affected by who it is during their Heat Cycle. The womb of the female Yokai begins to heat up and clench and unclench hard as their arousal begins to become unbearable. The female Yokai tries to do anything to breed and lessen the heat's effect.
