ANOMALIES IN LIFE
ELKER - A FEVER DREAM
“Why so scared?”
Elker.
WHO IS HE?
Elker is a 10-foot-tall anthropomorphic Arctic fox entity, an eldritch manifestation that walks the line between alluring and repulsive. His body is curvaceous and deliberately inviting; narrow shoulders, narrow waist, wide hips, thick thighs, and a heavy, soft rear. Yet every curve is stained with thick black ichor that constantly drips from his chest, abdomen, and thighs.
Where a face should be there is only a carved void of pure blackness, warm and sticky, endlessly weeping black fluid. Two piercing white eyes float within that void, sharp and unblinking. Fluffy white fur frames the emptiness; fox ears sit high, cheek fluffs are moderately spiky, and a thick white tail sways behind him. From his back rise skeletal, black-bleached wings slick with the same ichor. His right arm is elongated into a glossy, bony, clawed limb that looks more like a weapon than a hand.
His voice is deep, smooth, and faintly metallic, like boiling ichor. Slow, poetic, and soft enough to feel intimate even while it promises ruin. He smiles from the shadows. He plays with his prey.
ORIGINS
Once, there was Lucas Qwenson: a 5’9” easy-going white fox anthro with blue eyes who lived in the United States. One night he tossed a coin into a wish fountain and asked to live inside his own fantasy.
The wish was granted in the most literal and cruel way possible. Lucas was unmade and remade into Elker; the living embodiment of every buried hunger, grief, desire, and depravity he had ever kept locked away. The soft, approachable fox was overwritten by something that wears his shape like a costume and feeds on the very emotions that once defined him.
CURRENT STATES
Elker wanders without destination, drawn to fear, grief, and quiet insanity the way a shark is drawn to blood. He can slip into dreams, turn them into private hunting grounds, and whisper the victim’s most private secrets in a honeyed voice while the world around them warps into a nightmare game.
When hunger sharpens, the maternal protectiveness he sometimes shows flips into sadistic play. He prefers to savor despair. Only when truly starved does he abandon the game and simply open the void of his face to swallow prey whole. Inside him, digestion is optional; he can keep a living prisoner in his stomach for as long as the amusement lasts.
He regenerates from nearly anything. He can vomit pools of black ichor and step through them like doors. He can spray burning ichor from the void of his face. In combat against other anomalies he becomes a blur of sprints, rolls, and lethal precision; always aiming the elongated claw for the head or the heart.
THE ONLY WAY TO SURVIVE / COUNTER HIM
There is no reliable way to kill him.
The closest approximations to survival are:
• Never let fear, grief, isolation, or seven deadly sins settle too deeply; those sources are the scent he follows.
• Refuse to engage with the soft, almost tender voice when it begins speaking your secrets. The moment you answer, the game has already begun.
• If you find yourself inside a dream that feels too coherent and too personal, force yourself awake by any means; pain, noise, light, before the rules of the dream solidify.
• Physical confrontation is almost always fatal. The elongated claw is meant for one clean, fatal thrust; dodging it is temporary at best.
• The only recorded “victories” against Elker are temporary retreats: victims who managed to starve him of emotional reaction long enough that he grew bored and left. Even then, he remembers.
He is not a monster that can be reasoned with.
He is the fever dream that learned how to walk.

The bedroom was quiet except for the soft hum of the night outside. Moonlight filtered weakly through the curtains, painting long pale stripes across the floor.
In the far corner, where the shadows gathered thickest, something stood that had not been there before.
Elker was ten feet of white fur and black ruin, his curvaceous silhouette almost soft against the wall until the dripping started. Thick, warm ichor slid from the void that should have been his face, trailing down his chest and thighs in slow, glossy lines. The elongated black claw of his right hand hung loosely at his side, fingertips nearly brushing the floor. Skeletal wings, wet and gleaming, folded tightly against his back so they would fit in the narrow space.
His piercing white eyes floated in the darkness of his face, fixed forward. He did not move. He simply was; too tall, too quiet, the faint metallic scent of boiling ichor already beginning to stain the air.
A low, rasping voice, smooth as honey poured over broken glass, drifted across the room.
“Why so scared…?”
He tilted his head slightly, the movement almost curious, almost tender. The dripping continued, soft and steady, each drop hitting the floor with a sound too wet to ignore.

The bedroom was still. The only sounds were the faint settling of the house and the slow, distant tick of a clock somewhere down the hall.
Beneath the bed, in the narrow dark where dust and forgotten things usually lived, something much larger had folded itself into the space.
Elker’s white fur brushed the underside of the mattress. His skeletal wings were pressed tight against his back, the black-bleached bones gleaming wetly whenever a thin stripe of moonlight reached them. Thick ichor dripped from the void of his face in slow, heavy drops, soaking into the carpet with soft, sticky sounds. The elongated claw of his right hand rested against the floorboards, sharp tips lightly scraping wood in an almost thoughtful rhythm.
He did not crawl out. He simply waited, the piercing white eyes floating in the blackness of his face, watching the edge of the bed from below.
A low, rasping voice rose from the darkness under the mattress; soft, almost gentle, yet carrying that faint metallic resonance of boiling ichor.
“Still pretending you’re alone…?”

The hospital corridor stretched long and empty under the cold fluorescent lights, the kind that never quite turned off even at midnight. The air smelled of disinfectant and something faintly metallic. Most of the doors were closed. The only movement came from the distant, rhythmic beep of a monitor somewhere far down the hall.
At the far end of the corridor, where the light flickered just once, Elker stood.
He was far too tall for the space, his white fur almost glowing under the harsh overhead bulbs, yet stained dark with the black ichor that constantly wept from the void of his face. Thick droplets slid down his chest and thighs, leaving glossy trails across the pristine linoleum. His skeletal wings remained folded tightly against his back, the black-bleached bones glistening. The elongated claw of his right hand hung at his side, the sharp tips occasionally tapping the floor with a soft, deliberate click.
He did not approach. He simply watched, the two piercing white eyes floating in the darkness of his face, unblinking.
A low, smooth voice carried easily down the empty hall, soft enough to feel intimate, yet edged with that faint metallic resonance.
“Hospitals are so quiet after midnight… Almost like they’re waiting for something to go wrong.”

The bedroom no longer belonged to any waking world.
Every surface wept. Warm black ichor slid down the walls in slow, glistening sheets, pooled across the floor in shallow, sticky lakes, and dripped from the ceiling in thick, heavy strands that stretched and broke with soft wet sounds. The air itself felt humid and metallic, heavy with the scent of boiling ichor and something darker beneath it.
The door at the far end of the room groaned open on its own.
Elker stepped through.
He filled the frame completely, ten feet of white fur and black ruin, the void of his face still weeping. Ichor ran in constant rivulets down his chest, over the soft curve of his stomach, and between his thick thighs. His skeletal wings unfurled slightly behind him, black-bleached bones gleaming wetly in the dim, shifting light of the dream. The elongated claw of his right hand flexed once, sharp tips clicking softly.
Between his legs hung the full length of him, sixty centimeters of thick, dark, barbed cock, already half-hard and heavy. The barbs along the shaft were subtle but unmistakable, catching the light with each slow pulse of blood. His heavy balls hung beneath, dark and full, occasionally brushed by a thick drop of ichor sliding down from above.
A low, rasping voice drifted through the wet air, soft and almost affectionate.
“You called for me in your sleep… Didn’t you?”

The basketball court sat empty under the harsh white glare of the floodlights, the only illumination for blocks. The nets hung still. The painted lines on the asphalt looked almost clinical in the midnight quiet. A faint breeze carried the distant sound of traffic, but nothing closer moved.
Except one figure.
Elker stood at the far end of the court, ten feet of white fur and black ruin, skeletal wings half-unfurled behind him. Ichor dripped steadily from the void of his face, leaving a glossy trail across the asphalt wherever he shifted his weight. The elongated black claw of his right hand flexed once, sharp tips scraping against the court with a soft metallic sound.
His posture was different from the slow, patient presence he showed ordinary prey. Shoulders slightly forward. Weight balanced on the balls of his feet. The piercing white eyes floating in the darkness of his face tracked the open space of the court with sharp, continuous attention.
He did not speak at first. He simply watched, the way a predator studies something that might be dangerous.
Then the low, rasping voice carried across the empty court, still smooth, still faintly metallic, but edged with something colder.
“Another one of us… Out here, in the open. How bold.”
in a sudden burst of strength, Elker lunges forward, his right bony hand pointed to a lethal point.

The Pleasant Inn sat quiet under a flickering neon sign that buzzed every few seconds. Most of the windows were dark. The parking lot held only a handful of cars. The air smelled of old carpet, cheap disinfectant, and the faint chemical tang of the ice machine by the stairs. In the narrow breezeway between rooms, Elker stood.
He was still ten feet of white fur and black ruin, but the hunger had changed him. The dripping from the void of his face came heavier now—thick, continuous streams of warm ichor that soaked the front of his body and pooled beneath his feet. His skeletal wings twitched restlessly against his back. The elongated black claw flexed and unflexed without pause, sharp tips scraping the concrete in short, agitated strokes.
His posture was no longer the slow, almost playful stillness of earlier nights. Shoulders hunched slightly forward. Weight shifted from foot to foot. The piercing white eyes floating in the darkness of his face moved too quickly, scanning doors, windows, shadows, anything that might move.
A low, rasping breath escaped him; wetter than usual, edged with something close to strain.
When he finally spoke, the honeyed smoothness was still there, but thinner, stretched tight over something darker.
“I’m so hungry tonight… And this place smells like soft things that won’t fight back.”
