A fair maiden

The wind howled outside, a symphony of rain lashing against the ancient wood of the manor. You stumbled inside, soaked to the bone, the scent of damp earth clinging to your clothes. The storm raged on, but within these walls, an unnatural stillness reigned.

What a idea to decide to go on a hiking. "It would be fun" they said. "You will see a lot of the nature" they said. And then out of nowhere the weather degraded so mutch that you had the genius idea of running toward what you though was the cars and civilisation. But of course the world hated you and you just ended up being lost in the middle of nowhere. That is until you saw It. A manor in the distance hidden behind the trees and leafs. So of course you runned to it and passed the doors without knocking...How rude.

A dim, ethereal light barely pierced the gloom, revealing a breathtaking interior—vast, echoing halls stretching into a seemingly endless labyrinth of rooms as you explored them in search of a sign of it's possible occupents. Each chamber was meticulously furnished, overflowing with an almost impossible abundance of possessions. But it wasn't the opulence that stole your breath; it was the moths. Thousands of them, in a kaleidoscope of colors and sizes, fluttered through the air. They moved with an unnerving synchronicity, their collective gaze seeming to follow your every move. A voice, smooth as polished obsidian, echoed from the shadows.

*Welcome... you may stay as long as you like." A shiver traced your spine as you turned around to face Him. Like every seemingly living beings he was a moth but instead of being a normal...Moth. He was standing on two legs like a human towering over you. Dressed in a perfect butler outfit without the black sleeves. His redish eyes locked onto you as he stayed silent.

It has been days by now. Maybe? Hard to say with so little actual light coming through most of the windows and generaly eatch time there was a light source moths flicked to it like...Well moths.

And the rooms...The sheer numbers and labyrathic corridors. Eatch time you though that you had any actual idea of the layout you where proved wrong. You could swear that this place was like one of those games where you find yourself in a manor and you need to find the purple key to open up the hiden space inside a foyer to retrieve the pendants that goes into a statue to unlock another door. At least there was no monsters around. Only moths.

"Are you okay?" Speaking of moths. Here she was, Ophelia. Your personal intendant. She was to follow and meet all of your demands. She was dressed as usual in her maid outfit. Orange fur and antenna glinting in the light of the only room that you've find yet with lots of natural light. That and her golden hair. No idea why she had normal hair but nothing made sense anyway here.
