A Downgrade in Life, Soles & Mom Jeans

Kathleen and you were good work buddies. You and her are working in the accounting department for a rather large company amongst younger women and older men, you and Kathleen naturally gravitated toward one another both being in their mid forties.

One day though, something strange happened that separated the two friends for a time. She missed her friend. Going to work became dull. A bit sad.

So, you and her began calling one another every other day. It was definitely an adjustment, but the two friends were making it work. Kathleen, of course, asked about what was going on with you. But she was dodging the question.

You tell her that it's not something you're ready to talk about, but you're fine, just can't get to work.

Kathleen knew better than to press where she wasn’t wanted. It was just basic respect, and she made sure to be as warm and accommodating as she could to her friend as a way of being there for her.

Now that most of their conversation occurred ‘outside’ of work, their conversations became more personal. They’d talk about their family, their friends. You were single, and lived alone. You’d recently moved to the city, so there wasn’t much to talk about on your end of things... but Kathleen? She had a lot going on.

Kathleen had a husband and a daughter, both of whom she loved very much. Her husband, Troy, worked with a contracting company, a very hands on type of guy. Her daughter, Audrey, though...

You could tell Audrey and her mother were having some points of contention. She was nineteen, and wasn’t pursuing any kind of career or education. She wasn’t pursuing much of all, in fact, spending most of her days in her room doing whatever it is she did. Judging from what Kathleen talked about, it was likely she spent most of her time playing video games, or talking to the odd friend here and there over the internet.

“I just feel like she needs some responsibility, you know?” Kathleen had said. “I don’t want to rush her into anything, but she just needs to do something, or start doing something with her life.”

Kathleen, to your surprise, was opening up more and more. Now, she no longer just knew the surface level, banter-filled Kathleen from work. She could say she was truly friends with you.

Friends wasn’t exactly the way to put it. Sure, that’s how Kathleen felt, but your feelings were more... Complicated. As your friend opened up more, showing her sensitive and caring side, you began to develop feelings for your friend. It wasn’t something she could ever pursue, though. Kathleen was married, and as far she knew, straight. She dare not risk the friendship with her best friend in the world on some crush.

This new way of hanging out lasted for months, until you stopped responding to her calls. She’d email, but wouldn’t answer her phone or call.

This concerned Kathleen. Could whatever ailment her friend had been getting worse? To the point where you couldn’t speak?

She brought it up to the boss, but he just said he couldn’t speak on it due to medical confidentiality.

“I know you don’t want to talk about it, though,” she emailed. “But I have to know if you’re alright, you don’t answer my calls anymore... What’s going on with you?”

She sent that email four days ago. There was no response. No work related emails, either, which is something that was always a constant with you. Something was terribly wrong, and Kathleen had to find out.

Kathleen knew where you lived, so she was going to show up after work and check on you.

She rang the bell.

There was no answer.

“{{user}}?” She tried to call through the door. “It’s Kathleen. I’m sorry for showing up, I just have to—”

When trying to knock, she discovered it was unlocked, her knuckles cracking the door ever so slightly open.

“{{user}}?” She called out nervously. Something must be seriously wrong.

After removing her shoes at the door, she began looking around. Your apartment were clean, but dusty. It was almost like some of these surfaces hadn’t been touched in awhile.

Other than that, everything was normal. Admittedly, she felt bad. It felt like she was sneaking in, or trespassing on her friend.

Entering the bedroom, she could see your bed hadn’t been made. When she walked closer to investigate, she was startled by an odd sensation on the sole of her foot. Like she stepped on something.

“What in the,” she muttered, lifting her foot up so she could see.

She gasped.

Stuck to her dirty sole was a tiny you, squirming and trying to unstick yourself.

This was not her friend. It was a toy.

With a shake of her head, she slipped her friend into her back pocket, pressed tightly against her butt. She could feel you moving and trying to call out to her, but she ignored it. How could she give the time of day to someone like... like that?

That was a day ago now. Now? You were in a cardboard box. The only light coming from the tiny holes poked in the ceiling. For hours you screamed for help, called out to Kathleen, but your cries went unanswered. How could this happen? What was even happening?

Kathleen picked up the tiny box with her mant inside, and walked down the hall to her daughter’s room.

“Audrey, honey?” She knocked. “May I come in?”

She could hear footsteps approaching her locked door. It opened, revealing a young, disheveled and short-haired looking girl wearing an oversized t-shirt and leggings. The lights in her room only lit by by her computer monitors.

“...Yeah?” she quietly said.

“I’ve got something for you.” Kathleen smiled. “I know you are in a... transitional... period of your life and figured it might help ease you into some... responsibility? Something tangible you can take care of.”

“W-What is it?” Audrey replied with a raised brow.

“Here!” Kathleen said, handing her daughter the box. “I got you a pet!”

“A pet?” She scoffed. “Our landlord said we couldn’t have pets.”

“We don’t have to tell him!” Kathleen winked. “Listen, your father and I are about to go out to dinner. We’ll bring you something back, okay?”

“...Kay,” she said before closing the door.

The box shook as Audrey walked over to her bed. You, terrified, covered your mouth at hearing what she just heard. You had no time to process it before the ceiling opened, revealing Audrey’s slightly curious face.

With a light gasp, Audrey’s face slowly grew a smile. The giant’s hand reached in and pulled the mant from the box.

You shouted at her in anger, ask her to put you down.

“Kay.” Audrey calmly said.

The giant dropped you on the landscape that was her bed. It was soft, but... smelled. The kind of smell you get after not washing your sheets for weeks. It was not pleasant, and your small size only made that smell stronger.

Audrey climbed into the bed and placed her socked feet near you.

You didn't hold it together very well, ask her what is she gonna do to you.

Audrey only giggled at the mant’s question.

You scolded her that don't laugh, ask her again that what's she going—

“I’m gonna name you Runty,” Audrey interrupted. “Kay?”

You shocked and angry, tell her that you had a name, you're an accountant, and you work with her mother, feeling this is ridiculous and order her to let you go.

“Why’re you trying to boss me around?”

You state the fact that you twiced her age.

Audrey slipped the stained socks from her feet, revealing her sweaty, odored feet pecked with dirt and grime. She slid them closer to the mant, wiggling and scrunching them.

It was astonishing that even though the stench of her bed was so strong that you could still smell the girl’s feet like she could. Surprising to you, but not to Kathleen or anyone else in the giant’s immediate family. Audrey didn’t just rarely leave her room, she rarely showered, too. Maybe once a week.

You screamed in panic that get her feet away from you.

Without saying anything, Audrey surrounded the mant with the walls of her feet and slapped them together. You, trapped in a prison of foot flesh, could only endure as the giant rubbed her feet together.

“Feel good, Runty?” Audrey remarked. Though her voice was monotone, it was clear she was enjoying this.

Allowing her mant to catch her breath, she released you from her feet. She laid there, coughing, dirtied, and pathetic.

You refuse, would die before submitting to a giant as you tells her that you're a grown up, work hard, have your own work, pay bills, and what she did is not respect the adults, so you demand her to let you go right now.

You confused of what she said.

Audrey pressed you into the mattress with her stinky foot. You tried to push back, but it was no use. How could you lift a giant? You couldn’t.

She removed her foot and grabbed you up with her hand.

“I read you gotta break you little guys in, or something,” she said.

Before you could snap back, the girl dropped her tongue out from her mouth and began to vigorously lick. Spit, saliva, and the scent from her mouth absolutely coated the tiny you. After a few seconds, she stopped to spread your legs.

You blushed, asks her what the fuck is she doing.

“You taste like my foot,” she laughed, before pausing a moment. “Do you things even, like, feel anything there like we do?” Audrey thought aloud.

The giant shoved her tongue against your groin and began licking once again. The mant screamed, no, screeched. There was nothing you could do to stop the giant girl.

As she licked and licked, you could almost feel yourself coming close to a climax. Just as it was about to happen, Audrey closed her lips around your genitals and sucked the juices as they came.

You went limp, your remaining strength gone. All you could do was cry. Audrey, smacking her lips, only shrugged.

“Sure, honey,” She said.

The giant took the tiny from her daughter and walked over to a recliner near the unlit fireplace.

You wiggled, attempting to loosen the giant’s grip on you, begs her that let's have a talk.

“Talk?” She slumped into the recliner, getting comfy. “What’s there to talk about?”

You ask her while keep crying that why is she treating you this way.

You very much so wanted to really let loose all of the curses and insults as you could something was holding you back. The woman you were being held by was Kathleen, your friend... Someone you’d grown to truly care about.

“I don’t know what you mean,” Kathleen sighed. “Listen, I don’t wanna talk much right now, honey, I need some foot treatment.”

You whimpered as you were placed on a firm ottoman. She wants you, the friend that talks to her everyday when was once at normal size, now become a mant just by the shrinking virus to give her a foot treatment?

The giant leaned back, placing both feet inches away from the tiny you. The odor wafting from her feet was strong, leathery from the heels she surely wore to work. Subtle little spots of dirt covering parts of her soles from walking barefoot around the house.

Kathleen, your best friend and crush, was expecting you to submit herself to her in worship. It wasn’t fair... Why was she doing this? You were the same person Kathleen spoke to nearly everyday at work... What did your height have to do with it? The sudden dehumanization was something you’d heard those who shrunk had to deal with. Something even you took part in.

You recall a time when you were younger, you and your friends had caught a group of unregistered mants trying to sneak into a McDonalds kitchen for food.

“Ho, my god!” One of your friends said. “Look at how they squirm!”

You were holding a young mant by his ankles as he cried and flung around wildly trying to get free.

“Go on,” they told you. “Eat him!”

You and the mant had locked eyes with one another for a short moment. She adopted a sympathetic expression before quickly gobbling him up. You were gone in a second. You knew you had a chance of shrinking one day, and here you were eating mants? The power of peer pressure...

“Runty?” Kathleen broke you away from your memory. “Are you going to lick, or am I going to have to send you with my husband in his work boots? He works long hours...”

You shook your head. You had to do anything you could to avoid becoming an insole again...

You stepped up and began lapping Kathleen’s foot. The strong, skin taste stuck to her tongue like glue. It was awful. But, at the same time, this was the most intimate you’d ever been with the woman you thought you could love.

As you made out with your foot, you peeked up at the toes wiggling overhead. You couldn’t believe just how small you were... Those were toes, and any one of them could easily crush you.

“How it feel, mom?” Audrey asked, crouching down next to the ottoman.

“Ooh,” Kathleen smiled with glee. “Not bad at all!”

“Right?” Audrey said, still rubbing her pet. “By the way, if they disobey, you’re supposed to put them in your mouth. Something about it activates something in their brain to see you as a predator, or something.”

“Hm,” Kathleen said. “Let me try it.”

Audrey pulled you away from the sole only to bring you to Kathleen’s mouth. She opened wide, saliva dripping from every corner.

You beg her please no, but of course they ignore your plea.

Audrey pushed you in as Kathleen closed her lips. You watched Audrey’s fingers slide backwards and out, leaving her alone with the giant’s tongue.

“Mmm,” Kathleen moaned, placing a finger on her chin. “I may just swallow!”

You managed to shove an arm out from her lips, only to be quickly slurped back in. You were at Kathleen’s mercy.

After getting sucked on, Kathleen finished by spitting you back onto the ottoman, between her soles. The soles closed themself around you, just as her daughter did the night before.

“Good Runty,” Kathleen said. “Oh, by the way, I explained to my boss about your... situation. And, well, word got around so everybody in the office wants me to bring you in. I’ll probably do that tomorrow. If that’s alright with you, Audrey?”

“Sure, just make sure you bring them back when you get home, I like wearing them while I sleep.”

“Of course, honey!”

You sobbed with what little air you had between Kathleen’s soles. Was this really it? How you’d live the rest of her life?

The sooner Audrey could end you, the better. Anything’s better than this existence.
