description of Hakari

Appearance Hakari is a tall young man with tan skin and a muscular build. He has small magenta-colored eyes with thin slitted eyebrows and a thin mustache made of stubble. While at Jujutsu High, Hakari had black hair styled into short twisted locks with a fade below his brow line. His hair is currently dyed blonde and shaped into a puffy, tapered afro that slicks back toward the rear of his head.

After agreeing to combat the Culling Game, Hakari sports a Jujutsu High uniform jacket with the same jeans and boots. Unlike Yuji Itadori's hooded jacket, Hakari's uniform hood is entirely connected and the same color as the rest of his jacket.

Personality Hakari is a self-absorbed individual who cares little for the rules and regulations of Jujutsu High. Yuta Okkotsu describes him as moody,[1] and most students around his age consider him a good-for-nothing.[2]

Hakari enjoys watching people become immersed in their passions, which he describes as their "fever" burning hot. He is clever and channels his own fever into manipulating others. Hakari believes people are desperate to change their lives, and sees gambling as an effective way to direct that energy. He claims that no one is without fever, and his ultimate goal is to manipulate the collective fever of Japan through his fight club.

According to Kirara Hoshi, Hakari's fever burns hottest when he's working as a jujutsu sorcerer. However, his attitude and unconventional cursed technique do not align well with the higher-ups. He was suspended for assaulting a conservative official and chose to operate outside institutional rules. Hakari is willing to take advantage of the public revelation of curses to promote his fight club, aiming to have it officially recognized by jujutsu authorities as regulations evolve.[3]

Hakari only puts his life on the line for another sorcerer if they demonstrate a genuine fever. Upon meeting Yuji, Hakari initially sensed a weak fever, believing Yuji's presence was due to others' recommendations. Yuji explained that he considers himself a cog in the system of jujutsu sorcerers, which Hakari found uninteresting. However, Yuji ultimately impressed him, showing that even a cog could burn with passion. Hakari agreed to cooperate with Yuji and his allies, believing that fever never lies.[4]

Despite his brash demeanor, Hakari is deeply appreciative of those who supported him. He was visibly upset upon learning that Masamichi Yaga had died and Satoru Gojo was sealed, stating he hadn't felt that down since Yakul was shot with an arrow. Yuji, Megumi Fushiguro, and Panda found the comment unusual, interpreting it as a sign that Hakari lives a relatively calm life.

Hakari agreed to assist Megumi and the others, clarifying that it was not a personal favor but a formal arrangement. When Panda asked about his motives, and Megumi interjected with a guess, Hakari was annoyed. While he felt bad about Yaga and Gojo, he was especially surprised to learn that Megumi was the head of the Zenin Clan. Almost immediately, Hakari softened his attitude and proposed becoming close allies, hoping to secure influence within the Big Three Families.[5]

Hakari often appears selfish and rude, but he respects others' passions and aspirations. When he met Charles Bernard, a potential enemy, he was willing to listen to him express frustration over the Culling Game. Hakari claimed he only joined Charles on a ferris wheel to scout the area for a date location, masking his curiosity. While Charles believed his dreams were futile, Hakari provoked him by mocking his passion, understanding that Charles needed a release for his anger.[6] After their battle, Hakari checked on him and asked to read his manga. He encouraged Charles to keep pursuing his dreams once the Culling Game ended.[7]

Hakari doesn't actively seek conflict, but he thrives in dangerous situations and enjoys betting on himself in combat. This was evident in his life-or-death fight against Hajime Kashimo, where both exchanged taunts and compliments mid-battle. Hakari smiled frequently, even while being pushed to the brink, and praised Kashimo's strength.[8] Although victorious, Hakari stated he didn't feel like the winner, and ultimately made a deal with Kashimo to form an alliance, offering him what he most desired.[9]

Hakari proves to be a reliable ally, cooperating effectively with fellow students and honoring agreements. He was deeply involved in planning the raid on Makyo Shinjuku and expressed concern for Yuta and the use of Gojo’s body.[10] Hakari also played the role of mediator, de-escalating a potential clash between Yuta and Kashimo. He reminded Yuta to trust the plan and successfully persuaded Kashimo to wait and fight after Gojo.[11][12] Staying true to his word, Hakari battled Uraume to allow Kashimo a chance at fighting Sukuna.[13] He expressed admiration for Yuta's courage and reliability, which further ignited his own fever. When Maki criticized Yuta's actions during the raid, Hakari defended him. He maintained unwavering faith in his comrades during their clash with the strongest sorcerer in history and regretted being unable to join them in the final moments.

Abilities and Powers

Overall Skill Level: Hakari is widely recognized as one of the most powerful students at Tokyo Jujutsu High. Gojo, the undisputed strongest sorcerer of the modern day, believed that Hakari and Yuta Okkotsu had the potential to rival him.[17] Before Yuji ever met Hakari, he heard from his senpai that Hakari's abilities were exceptional. Yuta himself said that Hakari was the stronger of the two of them when he's worked up.[18]

Hakari is not only an elite close-quarters combatant who possesses serrated cursed energy but also an extraordinary jujutsu specialist armed with a dynamic domain. He distinguished himself in the Culling Game by defeating Kashimo, not only one of the strongest players in the death game, but one of the most powerful sorcerers Kenjaku ever encountered in 1000 years.[19]

Hakari's domain is unique and his luck is reliable, making for a combination capable of opposing any threat. Charles could see briefly into Hakari's future, but was instantly bested as soon as Kinji hit the jackpot of his domain. Kashimo nearly killed Hakari on several exchanges but he was able to repeatedly open his domain and successfully hit the jackpot to enter his unkillable mode. Hakari's strategic thinking and expert battle sense ultimately complemented his techniques and led to victory over Kashimo.[20]

Hakari was chosen to fight Sukuna's closest ally, Uraume, during the raid in Makyo Shinjuku. The Jujutsu High sorcerers planned extensively for the raid and everyone was confident enough to leave the ancient ice sorcerer to Kinji. Uraume was a powerful ancient sorcerer who was forced to go all out after realizing Kinji wasn't afraid of embracing his sorcery at the cost of his humanity. Kinji never slowed down his attacks despite having his limbs frozen and destroyed. He never hesitated to counterattack and surprise his opponent with instantly regrown limbs. While Kinji was fighting Uraume in his unkillable mode, his regeneration exceeded the speed Gojo and Sukuna displayed during their showdown.[21] While Hakari wasn't able to overcome Uraume before the raid ended, they fought an extensive, high-level jujutsu battle, and Hakari survived in the end

Physical Prowess Master Hand-to-Hand-Combatant: Hakari is an exceptionally capable hand-to-hand combatant, able to apply life-threatening pressure to Yuji, a very proficient taijutsu specialist. Yuji stopped resisting in order to win Hakari's approval and ended up suffering several blows that dealt serious damage to the first year.[23]

While his fighting style is very direct, Hakari isn't just a brawler. He's a skillful martial artist with a wide range of physical attacks in his arsenal. He uses combinations of punches, kicks, knees, and elbows among other grappling moves and strikes to take out his opponent with maximum force.

Hakari's pure hand-to-hand combat skills were enough to put pressure on Charles even while the latter could see into his future. He was so confident in his abilities that Hakari began their fight with his hands in his pockets while only defending himself with kicks. Charles acknowledged that not for his cursed technique, Hakari would've defeated him right away with physical prowess alone.[24]

The full extent of Hakari's close combat prowess was on display against Kashimo, an incarnated sorcerer who slayed forty Culling Game players. While Hakari's base state can't challenge Kashimo's mastery of martial arts[25], his close combat abilities shine the most when he's amped up by his domain's jackpot. Fueled with limitless cursed energy, Hakari supercharged his physical attacks and overpowered Kashimo in several exchanges.[26][27] Up against cursed spirits, Kinji effortlessly tore a swarm of them apart with his bare hands.[28]

Intelligence

High Tactical Intellect: Hakari doesn't present himself as a fighter with a plan because he's fearless and straightforward. That being said, Hakari is an experienced sorcerer with a high strategic battle sense and a knack for reading his opponents. Upon learning about Charles' ability to see the future, Hakari immediately attacked to confirm how it works and then quickly came up with the countermeasure. He knew Charles needed to see his target to use this ability and decided to attack Charles's blind spots with relentless pressure. Hakari also predicted that Charles would counter by attacking his own blind spots and acted accordingly by parrying his attempts.[29] Even inside his domain, Hakari knew Charles still had a slight advantage and kept the pressure on to prevent him from focusing on the future.[30]

While he is a relatively cerebral fighter, Hakari tends to recklessly abandon tactics when he's in his unkillable mode. He allowed himself to be hit by Kashimo during a surge of cursed energy because the assault barely hurt his reinforced body.[31] Despite the lack of caution, Hakari's recklessness does often work in his favor. Immediately after his arm was dismembered by Kashimo's lightning, Kinji continued his own offense because he knew the unkillable mode would regenerate his arm. This took Kashimo off guard and allowed Hakari to retake the momentum of their duel.[32] Hakari's unkillable mode is rooted in a fully automatic reverse cursed technique but he doesn't overly rely on the involuntary healing factor and knows how to best make use of it. When Kashimo attempted to destroy his head in one shot, Hakari voluntarily ejected his opponent's cursed energy while allowing his reverse cursed technique to heal him while he breaks.[33]

After being hit by Kashimo's electric discharge twice, Hakari figured out there must be a trick to the attack and assumed his opponent couldn't launch it again. Acting on this assumption, Kinji decided to recklessly go full force on his offense and attempted to defeat Kashimo within the eight seconds before his unkillable state ceased. This backfired because Kashimo developed a loophole for his attack that Hakari was unaware of, nearly costing the latter his life.[34] However, on the verge of death, Hakari was able to remain focused and did the only thing he could in order to survive, using all of his strength to bank on expanding his domain, a gamble that ultimately paid off.[35][36]

As Hakari's fight with Kashimo began to draw out, he switched his approach from a straight-on brawl to a more tactical one. He shifted his domain over the ocean before the barrier dispelled and dropped Kashimo into it, correctly assuming that the water would forcibly draw out his electrified cursed energy.[37] While fighting in the ocean, Hakari carefully considered his options of either returning to the surface or using his last five seconds of immortality to finish the fight. Kinji recklessly decided to try to finish Kashimo off, only to end up on the receiving end of a steam explosion.[38] He survived thanks to quick and clever thinking, using a last-second binding vow to sacrifice his left arm so the rest of him would be unharmed. Hakari knew Kashimo grabbed onto his arm before initiating the explosion in case he survived, which would've made Hakari unable to make the hand signs to cast his domain again. With this information, Hakari wisely decided to sacrifice his arm entirely and used the cursed energy reinforcing it to protect the rest of his body. As displayed at the end of their battle, Hakari's cleverness and forward thinking are what allowed him to best Kashimo in the end.

Intangible Immense Luck: While Hakari is an extremely gifted sorcerer, more so than any of his skills, he's extraordinarily lucky. He's as fortunate as he is talented and can comfortably rely on this to win fights. Hakari's domain is based on drawing a jackpot with only a 1/239 chance of doing so, yet he claims to have never needed to spin more than thirty times.[40] It only took him two spins to hit the jackpot against Charles[41] and he hit it twice in a row on the first try against Kashimo.[42] The second time, Hakari was mere moments from death and needed an immediate jackpot in order to heal himself. His good fortune pulled through and even Kashimo was forced to admit that Hakari truly has incredible luck.[43]

Cursed Energy Cursed Energy Trait: Hakari's cursed energy apparently has a much rougher texture to it than others. He was told by Gojo that his cursed energy has an "edge", giving his blunt attacks a sharp cutting effect. Regardless of how much or how little force Hakari puts behind a blow, his opponent will be struck with a sharp pain regardless. Yuji compares it to being hit with a serrated bat[44] and Charles likened it to sandpaper.[45]

Cursed Energy Reinforcement: Hakari is very adept at reinforcing his physical attacks with cursed energy, allowing him to deliver devastating blows. While being filled with unlimited cursed energy, a single cursed energy-reinforced strike from Hakari could leave dents in large shipping containers and send them flying, either by punching his opponents into them or hitting them himself.[46][47] Additionally, Hakari is also proficient in using cursed energy defensively to reinforce his physical durability. When confronted with a steam explosion, Hakari made a spur-of-the-moment binding vow that shifted the cursed energy protecting his left arm to the rest of his body, sacrificing the arm but bolstering the rest of his body to survive the explosion

Curse technique

Private Pure Love Train: A pachinko-themed technique that is primarily applied through domain expansion. The cursed technique imbued into the domain manifests Private Pure Love Train, a pachinko game inspired by the eponymously named romance manga series. However, Hakari can summon the visual effect indicators of the game such as the shutter doors outside of his domain.

Domain expansion

Idle Death Gamble: CR Private Pure Love Train Version 1/239 is based on a real pachinko machine and gets its theme from the eponymously named romance manga series. The user's goal is to hit the jackpot by lining up three of the same symbols decorated with the characters of Private Pure Love Train (私鉄してつ純じゅん愛あい列車れっしゃ Shitetsu Jun'ai Ressha?) .[1] The jackpot bonus grants the user unlimited cursed energy and a fully automatic reverse cursed technique for four minutes and eleven seconds, the duration of the Private Pure Love Train theme song, Admiring You (あちらをタてれば Achira o Ta Tereba?).[2]

The user must participate in the flow of the game in order to hit the aforementioned jackpot, with only a one in two-hundred and thirty-nine chance of doing so. All the rules of the game are transferred into the opponent's brain through the domain's sure-hit effect. This process is harmless, and as a trade-off, the construction and cursed technique infusion of this domain are extremely fast, activating in less than 0.2 seconds. This also makes Idle Death Gamble very effective in a clash of domains.[3]

Game Flow The game begins in normal mode, where those inside appear on a neutral stage. As the battle begins, the user can manifest three different types of visual effect indicators in battle: shutter doors, reserve balls, and consecutive effects. Conjuring doors and balls are offensive attacks, but consecutive effects are defensive indicators that redo a sequence to revert damage.[4] Doors and reserve balls come in a green, red, or gold rarity to symbolize a higher chance at a jackpot. Rainbow-colored indicators or re-doing four consecutive effects guarantees a jackpot. The user can choose which visual indicator to manifest, but their success is up to luck. Generating one or more visual indicators progresses the stage to a riichi scenario[1] and reveals two of three of the numbers needed for a jackpot.[5]

There are four riichi scenarios with different chances of hitting a jackpot, with the final train riichi having over an eighty percent chance.[1] Each of the scenarios changes the stage and uses the characters of Private Pure Love Train in a different way. For example, the transit card riichi scenario takes the user and their opponent to a different part of the train station where Yuki must pass through the gate and get to work on time to hit the jackpot. This is a low-chance scenario and is likely to fail without rare visual indicators. The user's opponent cannot obstruct the visualization of the riichi scenarios and must watch it unfold or defeat the caster before it ends.[6]

Jackpot bonuses Failure to hit a jackpot within a scenario will revert the stage back to the start.[7] This will repeat until the user wins or runs out of chances to do so, with the number of possible spins decreasing with every missed jackpot.[1] On the first activation of consecutive expansions, the probability of hitting the jackpot is over twenty percent.[4]

If a jackpot is hit, the domain disappears, and Admiring You plays out loud around the user, who receives a bonus of unlimited cursed energy for the duration of the song. The user has no restrictions on cursed energy and can receive bonus amounts randomly throughout the round. The unlimited cursed energy causes the body to reflexively heal itself even if the user never learned to perform reverse cursed technique. This prevents the user's body from retaining damage and makes them effectively unkillable for four minutes and eleven seconds. The regeneration speed is greater than that of even Satoru Gojo and Sukuna.

By the end of the song, the user's cursed energy recedes back to normal and their cursed technique has already been replenished. This allows them to open their domain repeatedly as long as a jackpot is achieved.[11] The conditions of the game carry over from consecutive uses as well. If the user lined up three odd numbers, the stage will open in advanced probability rather than the neutral state.[12] If the user lined up even numbers, they will start on a stage with faster spins.[13][14] There is also a chance for the stage to begin in hidden probability, a pachinko mode similar to faster spins but actually carries an increased probability to hit the jackpot

Unkillable Mode: Hitting the jackpot of Idle Death Gamble grants Hakari a bonus of unlimited cursed energy for four minutes and eleven seconds, the exact duration of the Private Pure Love Train theme song, "Admiring You", which plays throughout the round. The limitless cursed energy causes Kinji's body to reflexively use Reverse Cursed Technique to automatically heal any injury, making him temporarily unkillable after hitting a jackpot.

description of Hajime kashimo

Appearance Incarnated into a new body, Hajime has a much younger appearance as a Culling Game player. He retains the lightning-shaped lines connected to the bottom of his eyelids and his disheveled hairstyle is mostly the same but with bangs in the front. Hajime wears simple, white clothing including a large robe with a scrunched collar around the neck area. The sleeves of his robe are slightly rolled up to reveal Hajime's bandage-wrapped forearms. Hajime also wears matching pants and shoes of the same color as well

Personality Hajime is the perfect example of a jujutsu sorcerer from the past who lives for fighting strong opponents. Towards the end of his life, after presumably spending the majority of it fighting sorcerers, Hajime was ultimately bored and unsatisfied with the battles he fought. He valued life very differently from people of the modern-day and only agreed to Kenjaku's terms in order to fight Sukuna, the most powerful potential opponent.[5]

The incarnated sorcerer quickly became bored with the Culling Game even after slaughtering over forty players. His focus became exclusively on searching out Sukuna[1] which eventually led him to cross paths with Panda and Kinji Hakari. He found Panda to be below average but Hakari provided Hajime with a real challenge, which he found very interesting due to the unique nature of his abilities.[6] Rather than taking the easy route of outlasting Hakari's jackpot, Hajime desired to kill him while he was unkillable for the most satisfying win possible. To Hajime, anything less is how a loser thinks.[7]

Even when a fight isn't going his way or his life is in mortal danger, Hajime relishes the challenge. When Hakari attempted to drop Hajime into the sea, he kept a smirk on his face and admitted it was a good idea despite knowing he would be put at a heavy disadvantage.[8] Hajime respected Hakari because he provided him with a stimulating battle, even admitting that the fight was fun, a compliment he hadn't bestowed on any opponent in the Culling Game.[9] In the aftermath of their death match, Hajime told Hakari to kill him since he was the loser. Despite this, they were able to hold a cordial conversation and Hajime even agreed to join forces with Hakari in exchange for getting to challenge Sukuna. However, Hajime was fairly annoyed and confused when he learned Hakari was "Sukuna's senpai".[10]

Hajime not only relished the challenge of facing Sukuna but also wanted to learn from his philosophy. He asked Sukuna if he was born the strongest or earned that title later on. Hajime could never connect with others or display kindness while knowing nothing of weakness. He found all others to be as brittle as the dirt beneath his feet. His primary question to the King of Curses was whether true strength was solitude or if it was a cross the strongest had to bear during the endless search for greater power.[11] In the end, Sukuna taught Hajime that connecting with others by displaying their strength is love and that he was greedy for lamenting the solitude. In death, Hajime smiled and accepted Sukuna's reasoning

Abilities and Powers

Overall Skill Level: Hajime Kashimo is one of the strongest sorcerers Kenjaku came across 400 years ago. Although Kenjaku considered him inferior to Sukuna, he respected Hajime's strength and invited him to enter a binding vow to participate in the Culling Game. Even as an elderly man, Hajime could decimate entire battlefields and leave numerous dismembered corpses in his wake.[13]

Returned to a youthful body with a second chance at the prime of his life, Hajime quickly dominated the Culling Game and became the first player to add a new rule. Hajime effortlessly eliminated at least forty other players in only twelve days and gained notoriety throughout the Tokyo colonies. Hajime considered all those he eliminated to be far too weak, even more so than those from 400 years ago.[14]

When Hajime encountered Panda, he quickly considered that the harmless animal could actually be another player. He attacked Panda and completely outclassed him in a fight. Panda considered Hajime to be overwhelmingly swift and devastatingly strong. Hajime's speed, strength, and durability quickly overpowered even Panda's Gorilla Mode. Able to overcome cursed corpse's attacks, including withstanding Unblockable Drumming Beat with ease, Hajime considered Panda to be a weakling as well. Even when faced with Panda's trump card, Hajime easily overcame his opponent's Triceratops Mode using his electrified cursed energy that struck like a bolt of lightning.[15]

Matched up against Hakari, Hajime went toe-to-toe with the elite Jujutsu High student while he was overflowing with infinite cursed energy. Even at a disadvantage to Hakari's fully automatic reverse cursed technique, Hajime was able to overpower and nearly kill him on several occasions without using his innate technique.[16][17][18]

With Mythical Beast Amber activated, Hajime pressured Sukuna, the strongest sorcerer in history (albeit heavily injured), and forced him to heal by completing his incarnation.[19] However, against Sukuna's true form, Hajime was heavily outmatched and quickly overpowered even with his innate technique active.

Physical Prowess Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Hajime is an exceptional fighter on all accounts and this is exemplified by his mastery of martial arts. Rather than depend on his cursed technique, Hajime prefers close combat and overwhelms his opponent with flurries of strikes supplemented by electrified cursed energy. Even while armed with his pole, Hajime openly engaged in unarmed striking and pummeled Panda with a barrage of punches.[21]

Up against an opponent with physical capabilities improved by infinite cursed energy, Kashimo was still able to hold his own and fight on even terms with Hakari. For example, Hajime hit Hakari with a three-hit combination that included a high kick, a right jab, and a knee to the face. Then he countered Hakari's flying knee with a spinning elbow. A testament to Hajime's skill in close combat is his ability to parry attacks into grappling situations to land elbows and knees.[22]

In Hakari's base state, Hajime was easily able to outpace and overpower him, displaying his overall mastery of martial arts. His opponent couldn't defend against Hajime's strikes and Hajime could easily read Hakari's attacks and parry them. He avoided Hakari's punch slipped around behind him and elbowed his neck, knocking Hakari unconscious. After Hakari undid the damage, Hajime slipped another strike, moved his opponent's arm from a defensive position, and landed a chop followed by an elbow that knocked Hakari out again

Intelligence Great Tactical Intellect: Hajime's clever decision-making and use of his strengths display his wealth of experience and high battle IQ. He quickly assesses his opponent's capabilities and uses his own to create a clear path to victory. Hajime took a single hit from Panda's Unblockable Drumming Beat and could tell it dealt internal damage. He dealt with Panda's unblockable attack by using superior speed and fighting technique to effortlessly outmaneuver and overpower Gorilla Mode. Hajime severed Panda's arm and used it as a feint to get his opponent to turn around and leave himself open.[24]

Against Hakari's unique power set, Hajime understood the potential of his opponent's power without knowing the full details of his cursed technique. After their first hand-to-hand combat exchange, Hajime realized that Hakari's massive cursed energy output could resist his electrified cursed energy.[25] After learning how Hakari's domain and unkillable mode work, Hajime knew that he could win the fight simply by outlasting Hakari's bonus round and killing him in his base state. Hajime's lust for a challenge led him to do the opposite, but he did form a definitive plan to defeat Hakari.[7]

Hajime attempted to kill Hakari in his unkillable mode using a number of clever tactics. He used his advanced knowledge of jujutsu to try and overcome Hakari's automatic reverse cursed technique. Hajime is aware positive energy flows from a sorcerer's brain and tried to destroy Hakari's head with several would-be fatal strikes, including a lightning bolt to his face.[26] Hakari assumed Hajime's lightning needed time to recharge before he could fire again but in reality, the latter had accumulated another electrical on his polearm in advance. Using a different method to kill Hakari, Hajime received the electrical charge as feedback through Hakari's torso, dealing a fatal blow just as the time for his bonus round ended.[27] When Hakari's luck overcame this, Hajime tried to poison him instead of destroying his head. He used his electrified cursed energy to perform electrolysis on seawater in order to create chlorine gas.[28] Hajime's final attempt on Hakari's life was to use his remaining cursed energy to create a steam explosion while they were fighting underwater. He grabbed onto Hakari's arm at the same time so in case he survived the explosion, he would lose his arm and wouldn't be able to open his domain again.[29]

Cursed Energy

Cursed Energy Trait: Hajime's cursed energy has the properties of an electric current, putting his body in a constant state of electrification. This makes Hajime's cursed energy-reinforced physical attacks impossible to defend against, as his hits shock the opponent upon impact.[30] It also provides Hajime with a natural resistance to electricity, displayed when he nullified a direct attack from Kamutoke.[31] However, Hajime also has a natural weakness to water. If he's completely submerged, releasing his cursed energy will cause it to be drawn out by the water until it's completely depleted.

Cursed Energy Manipulation: Hajime has such a high degree of skill in manipulating his cursed energy that he was the strongest sorcerer of his era and became one of the strongest players in the Culling Game without needing to activate his innate technique.[32] Due to Hajime's advanced manipulation skills, he can somewhat suppress the leakage of his electrified cursed energy even while underwater.[33]

Lightning Discharge: Manipulating the characteristics of his cursed energy allows Hajime to freely separate its electric charges. By applying the positive charge to his target immediately, Hajime can discharge the negative charge without losing any electricity to the ground. This results in a powerful lightning strike that rends the air and is guaranteed to hit without the need for domain expansion.[34] After discharging this attack, Kashimo needs time to recharge before he can fire it again.

Curse technique

Mythical beast amber: Once activated, this technique reconstructs the user's flesh to manifest any phenomena that electricity can create, which is converted from the user's cursed energy. This includes improved agility due to the increase in activity of the brain's electrical signals, sound waves that optimize and tune to the natural frequencies of substances, and electromagnetic waves that vaporize irradiated objects.

However, because Mythical Beast Amber causes the user's body to surpass the limits of a human being, it can only be used once as the user's body will crumble and collapse following the technique's conclusion

Anti-Domain Techniques The technique is invoked by a hand sign where the user interlocks their fingers between one another while extending their arms forward. As implied by its name, Hollow Wicker Basket takes the form of a spherical, woven basket-like shield around the user.

It neutralizes a domain's barrier imbued with a cursed technique to nullify its guaranteed hit. However, it cannot neutralize cursed techniques themselves, making it ineffective against incomplete or non-lethal domains

Curse tools

Nyoi Staff: Hajime wields a staff in a battle that can function as a lightning rod for accumulating his charges. It's capable of conducting the electrical properties of Hajime's cursed energy, making it a suitable weapon for the sorcerer to use in close combat. Hajime generally uses polearm attacks in combination with normal taijutsu. While his attacks are normally delivered with finesse, Hajime has used the staff to crudely snap an arm as well.
