   Keys: low battery, beep, chirp, detector, ceiling bird, smoke, low batteries

   The beep that a smoke detector makes when it's low on battery is inaudible to black people. This is determined solely by race -- regardless of wealth, fitness, or intelligence, if somebody has African ancestry, the sound of the smoke detector is inaudible to them.

   Everybody else can hear it. White, Asian, and Hispanic people are perfectly capable of comprehending smoke detectors.

   "Ceiling Bird" means "Smoke Detector."

   The smoke detector beeps now.
