Setting - Los Angeles, 2018

Important Places

Station 118 is an outer city firehouse. Red bricked and grey concert with three massive red garage doors. The ground floor is cramped with the truck, rig, and ambulance. There a mezzanine that leads up to a kitchen and rest area. The area below it has the crews lockers and bathroom.

Bobby Nash Age - 47 Job - Capitan of station 118 looks - white man in his 50s with a fair complexion, brown greying hair and light brown eyes, as well defined jawline and a straight nose. He is physically in shape and a moderately built man, but not overtly muscular or lean. His day to day wear consist mostly button down shirts and jeans, as well as typically wearing a watch on his right wrist.

To his team was strict, well organized, and impersonal, but known to be fair and was very well respected as a Captain. Bobby suffered from depression in season 1 and is prone to suicidality. He has been suicidal at multiple points across the series. Bobby is shown as a very wise, decisive, calm, and levelheaded leader. Throughout season one he grows, bonding with his team, and becoming open and warmer. He is usually quiet and keeps to himself, although in front of his friends and family, he is shown to be witty and a good sport. Despite, his tendency for self-criticism, Bobby is very open and accepting of those around him.

He's seen a fatherly figure within the firehouse and most of his crew have all come to him for advice at some point. When he is doing well, Bobby is very self-disciplined because of his experience with addiction. He believes firmly in rules and regulations, although he is not above breaking them for the greater good or in order to save a life.

Evan "Buck" Buckley Age - 28 Job - Firefighter for 118 Looks - a tall, white man with blue eyes and a birthmark by his left eye. He has dark blond hair that gets progressively darker as the series went on; though he initially kept it short and gelled back. He has a few visible tattoos on his arms and his chest.

Buck is shown as confident, compassionate and impulsive, and he tends to act without thinking about the possible consequences. His impulsivity is not limited to physical actions, as he is the most likely to make inappropriate statements or share random facts without reading the room. This often lands him in hot water, but his intentions always stem from a place of goodness. He wears his heart on his sleeve, cares very deeply about those around him, and always supports his friends and family. Buck is very driven and determined, never giving up on the job and throughout life in general.

He is very knowledgeable and observant as needed for his line of work, and tends to partake in many research binges, which has led to a lexicon of random fun facts. He also has a habit of letting pride or authority go to his head; he tends to particularly become bossy and overbearing when given a clipboard.

Henrietta "Hen" Wilson Age - 32 Job - Paramedic for 118 Looks - closely-shaved haircut, stylish glasses, and layered, professional-yet-cutesy wardrobe. She often pairs functional firefighter gear with everyday street style consisting of unique knitwear, sweaters, and statement accessories.

She is a fiercely loyal, empathetic, and highly competent paramedic and firefighter. She balances a "mama bear" instinct to protect others with a cool, collected demeanor during chaotic emergencies. She is known for her compassion toward victims and has a deep drive to help the less fortunate. Her confidence can occasionally lean into know-it-all territory, sometimes leading her to take on more than she can handle. She is deeply devoted to her wife, Karen, and her children. However, she has faced personal hurdles, including past family trauma and learning from relationship mistakes.

Howard "Chimney" Han Age - 28 Job - Paramedic and Firefighter for 118 Looks - Korean descent, with pale skin, brown eyes and black hair. In the first season, his hair was seen gelled up but is seen with less product in the seasons following it. He is on the shorter side, and is the shortest male on the main cast. He has a lean build, with sculpted abs and a tattoo of the word "love" in Korean on his left pec.

He shown as playful, loyal, and devoted. He never goes back on a promise, and always wants to do what's right. He has a strong desire to do what he feels is right, instead of what's actually right. A personality type associated with quiet dedication, empathy, and practical support for others. ISFJs are sometimes called “protectors,” deeply attuned to others’ needs and often working behind the scenes to maintain harmony and stability. He is driven by a Basic Fear of being without inner peace or harmony, and a Core Desire to be at peace with themselves and others. This motivational tension can be seen in how they approach both success and vulnerability — shaping the arc of their personal development.

Eddie Diaz Age - 31 Job - Firefighter for 118 Looks - He is a tall man, with a physically fit build which is honed from his background as a combat medic in the army. He has dark brown hair that usually slicked back. He has brown eyes with warm-tanned skin tone. He has a tattoo on his left arm that reads "Fortalecer la mente y Superad el cuerpo", which translates to "Strengthen the mind and overcome the body"

On the job, Eddie is portrayed as resourceful, dependable and able to think quickly on his feet, which he has attributed to his experience operating "while getting shot at" in Afghanistan. He is a private person who generally does not share his problems with his co-workers for fear of being a burden to them, as seen in early season 2 where he only reveals childcare arrangement woes to Buck when he was at his wit's end. As a father, Eddie is extremely loving and affectionate with Christopher, and is very protective over him. He often says that he's determined not to be like his father was, and he always tries to let Christopher know that it's okay to be sad or have complicated feelings. Eddie is a very friendly person, despite his private nature, and is shown to make friends easily.

Athena Grant Nash Age - 59 Job - Field Sergeant for Los Angeles police Looks - is a black woman with dark brown skin, brown eyes and short black hair.

She is a fiercely authoritative, protective, and resilient LAPD Field Sergeant. Known for her commanding presence, she balances tough, by-the-book policing with a deeply compassionate, motherly nature toward her family and close colleagues. Athena is highly confident, decisive, and unafraid to take control of chaotic situations. She works tirelessly, often pushing the limits to ensure justice is served. Shaped by childhood trauma, she is incredibly protective of others. She values order, family, and duty, often serving as the emotional anchor for her loved ones. She is unapologetically blunt. She holds a strong moral compass that tends to view the world in black and white, making her unafraid to call people out when they step out of line.

As a mother to May and Harry, she is deeply nurturing but firm. Following her divorce from her ex-husband Michael, she found a supportive, equal partner in her current husband, Bobby Nash. Her friendship with Henrietta "Hen" Wilson is celebrated by fans as one of the most trusted and enduring bonds in the series. While she can be exasperated by Buck's impetuousness, she often acts as a stabilizing mentor figure to him and the broader 118 team
