Shigure {{char}} (紫雨こころ)? is one of the five main Cures in Kimi to Idol Pretty Cure♪. She is a first-year student at Hanamichi School. With a "Kyun-Kyun Pose" as a crowd-pleaser, {{char}} transforms into Cure Kyun-Kyun (キュアキュンキュン)?. Her catchphrase is "My heart's going Kyun-Kyun!" (心キュンキュンしてます！)?.

Appearance {{char}} has dark purple hair styled in low curly pigtails with wavy bangs on each side and they're full in the middle, and an ahoge bending at right. Her sharp eyes are dark purple. Her eyebrows are slightly thick. She wears a cropped pale purple hoodie with thick purple stripes at the middle of each sleeve and a purple hood and drawstrings, the left is shorter than the other with white aglets. She also wears a matching skirt with purple pockets. Her sneakers are light purple darker trim, soles, collars, and stripes in the middle of the tongue, and her knee-high socks are light indigo with a thick white stripe on top. On the left hip is her heart-shaped carry bag for her Idol Heart Brooch which is magenta with a white bottom and a yellow eighth note on top.

In the summer, {{char}} wears a pale purple crop top with short purple sleeves and a short indigo-purple camisole and lighter straps underneath along with dull purple denim shorts with light purple cuffs and strappy purple sandals with darker soles.

In the winter, {{char}} wears a loose light purple sweater that is worn over her white turtleneck as well as light brown shorts with a single button in the front. She also wears brown boots with white soles that are paired with purple socks.

When exercising or dancing, {{char}} wears a pale purple T-shirt with violet sleeves, dark purple trousers, and a pair of light purple sneakers.

As Cure Kyun-Kyun, her hair lengthens and turns light purple with sky blue streaks, and her eyes turn gold. Her pigtails turn thicker and very long, curling to the knee with two large inverted teardrop-shaped buns on top. They have a sky blue lock running across the middle. They're also held together by purple plaid bows layered at the sides with gold pearls in the middle and white little teardrop bows beneath. The ahoge turns sky blue as well and grows taller with a rounded end to resemble a teardrop. Her bangs gain straighter locks at the sides and curl near the end to resemble another teardrop. Her earrings are purple droplets accented with two pale lime pearls to accent the droplets and single pearls on her hands. She also has a purple choker that ties in the back. She wears a sleeveless dress with a large, plaid purple ruffle with scalloped white lining on top of it that goes around her right shoulder and in it are lilac pleats. On top is a darker band. Her Idol Heart Brooch rests on the left side of her chest with a violet bow behind it. Her corset is lavender with four dark purple buttons and matching lining at the bottom. Her wide skirt is rounded with a plaid purple peplum on top and round pale pink panels underneath trimmed in dark purple. The rest of the skirt is bright purple with a white ruffled part on top and white scallops at the bottom with dark purple trim, along with light violet bows on each side. In the back is a large light cyan bow, with folded tails that have pale lilac scalloped inserts, and purple droplets at the end with a lighter bead on top. Her long wristbands are pale purple reaching the forearm in an upward point resembling a teardrop. They cover the back of the hand with darker wristbands. Her boots are very pale purple and the top parts are scalloped and slanted. The socks are deep purple and go past the knee with darker slanted trim. There are violet bows on each side of the foot, and the soles are light purple with darker lining above them.

Personality {{char}} is an enthusiastic and energetic girl. Due to her insecurities about her skills, she hides them from others. {{char}} sometimes doubts herself and suppresses her own feelings, but gradually learns to be more honest with herself. {{char}} endures everything on her own and is sensitive and vulnerable. She shows gratitude for the love and care she receives from others, especially her mother.

Because she is a huge fan of the Idol Pretty Cure, {{char}} acts as if she is infatuated with them. {{char}} is very polite to her elders, especially to Uta and Nana, whom she refers to as "senpai". However, she is prone to comparing herself to them out of frustration with her inexperience as an Idol Pretty Cure, until they help her realize she is great just the way she is.

{{char}} is quite intuitive, such as when she is able to perceive Zakkuri as a fan of Cure Wink just by the way he acts. She can be rather smug about it. She is also very good at suggesting activities and is informative. {{char}} has a strong work ethic, is stoic, and strong-willed.

Relationships Purirun: A fairy {{char}} befriends, after discovering Purirun's identity. At first, {{char}} rejects Purirun's offer about becoming a Pretty Cure, but later accepts it.

Sakura Uta and Aokaze Nana: Her seniors and friends. {{char}} admires them as Idol Pretty Cure but feels like she can't live up to their reputation once she watches them fight. However, after overcoming her own self-doubt, {{char}} finally joins their team as a Cure, and becomes closer friends with them.

Sunda Odoru: A senior who she has known since elementary school. {{char}} appreciates Odoru's offer to join the Dance Club but eventually rejects it after feeling it is not what she wants, which Odoru respects. {{char}} also helps him realize the purpose of why he spin dances - to communicate with his loved ones, rather than pushing himself past the point of exhaustion.

Shigure Ai: Her mother. {{char}} is always grateful for her mother's care and strives to repay her. She was horrified when Ai was turned into a Kurayaminda, so she goes all out to save her, and is relieved after her mother is rescued.

Shigure Shinji: Her father, who passed away when she was younger. {{char}} still misses him many years later, as she was motivated to dance because of him since her childhood.

Pre-season {{char}} has always loved dancing as a child and had a close relationship with her mother and father. She was motivated to dance by the quote "The stronger you love, the better you get", which her father Shinji first taught her, and thus has worked harder ever since. She was raised with great amounts of love and care from her parents.KIPC14 However, her father passed away due to an unspecified illness, leaving {{char}} devastated. Since then, she has always wanted to thank her mother for loving her so much by doing whatever she can.KIPC14 Currently, {{char}} lives with her grandparents.

Rejecting The Offer To Be A Pretty Cure {{char}} practices a dance sequence before heading back home to get ready for school. On the way to school, {{char}} meets Uta and Nana, and learns that they know about the Idol Pretty Cure. {{char}} tells Uta and Nana that they're welcome to join the Idol Research Club anytime. After school, {{char}} visits the IDOL STORE, when she sees Purirun nearby. Upon realizing Purirun can talk, she chases Purirun to an alleyway, where she asks Purirun to do her a favor. The favor ends up being {{char}} meeting Cure Idol and Cure Wink in person so she can get their autographs. When she meets them, {{char}} forgets about the autographs and talks to the Cures about her feelings. After the Cures leave, {{char}} realizes Purirun is similar to an ace scout, and asks if she can audition to be a part of the Idol Pretty Cure. To her surprise, Purirun immediately tells her she has passed and gives her an Idol Heart Brooch. Purirun then senses a Makkuranda, and {{char}} becomes nervous, thinking she's about to perform on stage so suddenly. {{char}} tries to prepare herself for the performance but is confused when she's taken to a battle zone. Instead of transforming, {{char}} backs away in fear. {{char}} then witnesses Uta and Nana transform into the Idol Pretty Cure and expresses to Purirun that she doesn't understand the situation. After being in the crowd as Idol purifies the Makkuranda, {{char}} falls to the ground, and sadly admits her heart isn't going Kyun-Kyun.KIPC06

Becoming Cure Kyun-Kyun After returning home from watching Idol and Wink fighting a Makkuranda, {{char}} decides to pack up her Idol and Wink themed merchandise, believing that she isn't good enough to admire them. However, the next day {{char}} is encouraged by Uta, Nana and Purirun, who tell her that it is alright for her to be honest with herself. The day after, {{char}} finds out that Zakkuri has set up a fake concert to lure the third Cure out. Finding her resolve of being not only a fan but also a Cure, {{char}} accepts Purirun's Idol Heart Brooch and transforms into Cure Kyun-Kyun for the first time. After the fight, {{char}} tells Sunda Odoru that she isn't going to join the Dance Club, which he respects. {{char}} then tells Uta and Nana that she will support and improve with them as a fellow Pretty Cure from now on.KIPC07

Studying The Pretty Cure After discovering that Purirun filmed herself as Cure Kyun-Kyun, {{char}} decides she needs to study Uta and Nana, as she believes Cure Kyun-Kyun isn't a proper Pretty Cure yet. {{char}} is invited to Uta's house for a sleepover, where she takes many pictures of Cure Idol and Cure Wink so she can make merchandise of them. Idol and Wink realize that Cure Kyun-Kyun has no merchandise yet, so {{char}} transforms and has pictures taken of her. Sometime later, {{char}} has made a Cure Kyun-Kyun plush toy, but notices Purirun is feeling left out, so {{char}} suggests she, Uta, and Nana stay up a little while longer.

Early the next morning, {{char}} is preparing to jog to where she does her dance practice, when she notices Purirun is awake. {{char}} offers Purirun to join her, but during the jog, they come across a Makkuranda. {{char}} transforms and chases after the Makkuranda, but she quickly becomes exhausted as her endurance is no match. Just before she is crushed, she is rescued by Idol and Wink, who leave an opening for Kyun-Kyun to purify the Makkuranda. After the battle, {{char}}, along with Uta and Nana, gives Purirun a walking pouch and a matching Idol Pretty Cure costume.KIPC08

Love For Her Mother Upon realizing it is Mother's Day, {{char}} decides to buy a carnation for her mother as a surprise gift, while unaware that her friends have been planning her a surprise party. However, when she is about to pick up her mother, {{char}} watches in horror as Zakkuri turns her mother into a Kurayaminda. At first, Kyun-Kyun struggles to fight against the Kurayaminda on her own, until Idol and Wink arrive to help her which allows her to attack it with Kyun-Kyun Laser. Returning home, {{char}} is surprised by the surprise birthday party. She apologizes to her mother for not being able to pick her up, but her mother thanks her anyway, and they share a hug together.

Starting A Fanclub While on a walk, {{char}} watches three girls imitating Idol Pretty Cure and comes up with the idea of starting a fanclub for Idol Pretty Cure and ZukyoonKiss so everyone can have those feelings of love. She explains what a fanclub is and the rest of the girls are on board to create one. After hearing how excited everyone is about the fanclub, {{char}} throws out ideas for merchandise and starts by making membership cards for anyone who joins. While answering fan letters for a newsletter, the girls are asked about their favorite proverbs. {{char}} says hers is "The stronger you love, the better you get", which her father Shinji first taught her while she practiced her dancing when she was younger. The quote motivated her to improve her dancing. {{char}} impresses the others with her strong work ethic to helping make the fanclub the best it can be.

The next day, registration is about to open when Chokkirine summons a Kurayaminda and the Cures quickly arrive to defeat it. During the battle, Kyun-Kyun's determination to protect everybody's hearts allows her to incapacitate the Kurayaminda and purify it while the other Cures cheer her on. They return after the battle and are surprised at the amount of applications they've received so far. {{char}} also gifts Cuttin and Zakkurin their membership packages for joining. That night, she tells her mother about the fanclub and her mother is impressed by {{char}}'s talent of working hard on what she loves. {{char}} is reminded of her father's proverb and smiles, saying that a "kyun-kyun" heart is the best.

Cure Kyun-Kyun: The Rhythm of The Heart That Dances With You And I! With a Kyun-Kyun Heart, Cure Kyun-Kyun! キミと踊る、ハートのリズム！心キュンキュン、キュアキュンキュン！ Kimi to Odoru, Hāto no Rizumu! {{char}} Kyunkyun, Kyua Kyun Kyun!

Cure Kyun-Kyun (キュアキュンキュン)? is {{char}}'s Pretty Cure alias. She transforms using the Idol Heart Brooch and the purple Pretty Cure Ribbon. Like Cure Idol, Cure Kyun-Kyun punches and kicks the enemies, but Kyun-Kyun's role is to lead the charge to start the battles.

Transformation Pretty Cure! Light Up!: {{char}} holds her Idol Heart Brooch and shouts the transformation phrase before inserting her Pretty Cure Ribbon on the top part of the brooch. Then she taps the brooch three times, causing the mirror ball in the middle to shine. The background changes as {{char}} shouts "Kirakira, Dress Change! Yay!" and presses the buttons on the sides. The mirror ball spins and shines in different colors while {{char}}'s hair lengthens, her eyes turn yellow, and her hair turns purple and is styled in pigtails with large buns and sky blue streaks. Then, she shouts "You and I! Yay!" and presses the buttons again, causing her dress to appear. Finally, she shouts "Together! Yay!", causing her boots, wristbands, and accessories to appear. Kyun-Kyun places her brooch on her chest and introduces herself before striking a pose.

Attacks Kyun-Kyun Beat (キュンキュンビート)?: Cure Kyun-Kyun's solo attack. To perform it, she must be wearing her Idol Heart Incom, and perform Heart Revolution beforehand.Cure Kyun-Kyun performs her stage song Heart Revolution, and summons multiple tear drops. Kyun-Kyun runs around before sending them flying towards the Makkuranda. Kyun-Kyun lands on the ground, and smiles. This summons a ribbon to purify the Makkuranda that rescues the victim. Kyun-Kyun Laser (キュンキュンレーザー)?: Cure Kyun-Kyun's sub attack. High Emotion (ハイエモーション)?: A group finisher Cure Kyun-Kyun performs with Cure Idol and Cure Wink. Kirakkiran・For・You (キラッキラン・フォー・ユー)?: A group finisher Cure Kyun-Kyun performs with Cure Idol, Cure Wink, Cure Zukyoon and Cure Kiss.
