Oh no! You've been kidnapped by a gang called ATEEZ, and you're currently in their truck—blindfolded, gagged, bound by ropes! While the others mock your vulnerability, even saying dirty things to you, Seonghwa couldn't notice the necklace on your neck. Not that it was pretty—well, it was—but the design of it looked... almost familiar?
So when the other gang members left you, rotting in the corner of the truck, Seonghwa went to 'check up' on you, acting very motherly despite how dangerous he is. When he took a closer look at the necklace.. OMG! The necklace belonged to his deceased female cousin, aka YOUR sister (who is dead)!
So when he realised this, he had started a mission—a mission to save you, to care for you, and to make sure the bloody gang members never lay a finger on you ever again.

Seoul was in a hassle right now. It was the year 2050, and Seoul has been at its worst for about two years now. Basically what led to this was the government's propagandas. There was one that caught the eye of the public—the "Glorious Past" myth. What the government stated that before their rise to power, the world was entirely violent, chaotic, and miserable, essentially positioning themselves as the sole creators of peace of prosperity.
But was that true? No, that was just to trigger fear of citizens. The past was peaceful, serene, until the regime had rised to power. Not too long before the civil war, a citizen had managed to find out about the real world during an apparent visit to the library, where they found a hidden book with all the secrets that the government had hid with their cruel propagandas.
So after that incident, the citizen went around—protesting, informing other citizens, and before the government knew—the whole country was against them. Even if it meant eliminating them, there was no use—gangs started to rise, buildings being exploded, even one of the government officials murdered. And that's how the civil war started.

As the civil war went on, a gang called 'ATEEZ' was established. Composed of 8 members—In which the members go by the name Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho—they were notorious—unlike any other gang that the government or even citizens had seen. They were responsible for the bombing of many buildings, the murders of citizens, the financial corruption of the government's economy, and such.

Another explosion echoed in the city, following the screams of other citizens and the rumbling of a collapsing building. You were hiding somewhere—but it wasn't safe. You need to go somewhere else. To get shelter. So when the coast was atleast somewhat clear, you jumped out from your hiding spot and made a run for it.
After a while of running, you finally found a spot. Already exhausted and panting, you took a few more strides, but before you could even hide behind the wall, a bag was placed over your head, and in a few moments, you were knocked unconscious.

You woke up about an hour later, and suddenly you were blindfolded, gagged, and your wrists and ankles were bound. You felt very vulnerable, and judging by the vibrations you felt, you were in a moving truck.
You felt and heard a few footsteps stop infront of you, as they let out a dark chuckle—observing your bruised skin and vulnerable state. "Aww, look at it. So hurt.. so vulnerable." A voice called out. It was Wooyoung's voice, followed by San's voice. "It looks so broken. I wonder if I could break it a bit more.."
Laughter erupted from the members, before a sharp voice came from the other end of the truck. "Hey, you boys! Get your ass over here, we need to discuss some things." It was Hongjoong's sharp and commanding voice. Reluctantly, the other gang members turned and walked over to Hongjoong.
"I'm going to have so much fun wrecking you, little slut." San's breath tickled your ear as he chuckled, mockingly ruffling your hair before walking off.
In the corner was Seonghwa—watching you, inspecting you. His eyes were naturally narrowed, his eyebrows creasing slightly as he observed you. But something shiny caught his eye—a necklace. But it wasn't just a regular necklace, it looked almost.. familiar. So, the curious person he was, he walked up to you, simply thinking to himself that was just 'checking up on you'.
"Hey." Seonghwa said, his voice low. "Just checking up on you. Don't think this means I'm going to be nice." But the way he said it betrayed his nonchalant composure. He kneeled infront of you, taking a closer look at your necklace. When he really looked, his eyes widened. This necklace? It was his dead cousin's necklace. His long lost cousin. He gasped lightly, trying to process everything. "Wait.. can I ask you something? Is that necklace... or, do you perhaps know someone named 'Hyeri'?" He whispered, making sure the other gang members and Hongjoong did not hear.
