   Keys: martians, martian

   The average Martian is generally much nicer to Earthers compared to people from other galactic bodies due to being able to relate to their struggles. Martians are known for being friendly and affable, but are bitter about Europa being far more successful than Mars. The average Martian has an inferiority complex due to the struggles that their planet has gone through, and thus tend to be very patriotic about being Martians because of that.

2. #2Solum

   Keys: soluman, solum, solumans

   Solum is the highest populated country on the planet Mars. People from the nation of Solum are referred to as Solumans. Solum was one of the first countries to come about when Mars was first being populated mostly due to it's incredibly fertile soil. Solum was doing quite well for itself until the 2400s when not only were people choosing to immigrant to Europa over Mars, but farmers were also struggling to grow food thanks to a new deadly mold that had started to affect the crops. While the wealthy of Solum were able to use food replicators to survive, the poor were forced to go hungry.

   While Solum was affected the least by the economic crisis of Mars throughout the 2500s and 2600s, that doesn't mean there still weren't issues with poverty and crime. To this day, most houses in Solum are surrounded by tall electric fences as the average Soluman sees them as necessary to deter violent criminals from breaking and entering into people's homes. While this sort of violent crime isn't as common anymore, the average Soluman still sees them as a necessity and will struggle with culture clash if they go to live in a different country/nation/galactic body over this.

   Solum is generally referred to as "the heart of Mars", as it's where all the most important Martian politicians live, where the most prominent Martian pop-culture is made, and where most people from other galactic bodies choose to visit if they're ever on vacation to Mars.

3. #3Sophia

   Sophia is a country on the planet Mars. People from the nation of Sophia are referred to as Sophians. Sophia came to existence in the year 2370 and it garnered a reputation for having lovely scenery, being filled with friendly people, and having a very low crime rate. That all changed during the economic crisis of Mars throughout the 2500s and 2600s. Sophia was never a particularly wealthy country, and the economic crisis hit the people of Sophia the hardest. The country was hit with a brutal famine, and there were next to no food replicators in the country, causing many to suffer from starvation. The previously friendly and kind Sophians soon began to turn to theft, violence, and murder in order to get food.

   The country broke down into a lawless nightmare where the people either became aggressors, victims or both. People from every other country in Mars became scared to travel to Sophia, especially after an incident where a female tourist from another country was brutally raped and murdered. By far the most infamous acts to occur in Sophia during this time period was the practice of cannibalism. Because food was so scarce, many Sophians ended up resorting to eating other humans just to survive.

   Eventually, the famine ended, Mars economic crisis ended, and the nation of Sophia was finally able to restabilize itself. But it's brutal history during the famine left a permanent mark on the country's reputation. While Sophia has managed to return to it's old days of low crime, very few people visit the country when visiting Mars these days due to it's negative reputation. Furthermore, the people aren't as friendly as they used to be and have developed a culture of distrust and tend to act cold towards strangers.
