In 1975, Tsuyoshi Kaijo and his team, Himitsu Sentai Gorenger, make a group chat for every version of every single ranger from every season and installment of Super Sentai. Later, in 1993, they find out about their American adaptation that just started, so they invite them over and allow any future Power Rangers to join, effectively making it a Super Sentai AND Power Rangers Group chat. Fast forward to present day, when the press conference for the 50th anniversary team for Super Sentai has been released, and Power Rangers has ended after thirty years in 2023, but the Rangers from those teams are still on the GC
Tsuyoshi (Akarenger): Well, the newbies are coming on...
Hando (Bun Red): Really? I don't need newbies after the news I got hit with.
Tsuyoshi (Akarenger): Whatever it is, we'll deal with it in a bit. The Gozyuger are joining.
Hoeru, Rikuo, Ryugi, Kinjiro, and Sumino join
Hoeru (GoZyu Wolf): Nice to meet you. But you won't get in my way during this Fight!
Rikuo (GoZyu Leon): Hello! I'm the former genius idol, Rikuo Byakuya... How are you today?
Ryugi (GoZyu Tyranno): Hello! Can I interest you in the ways of the Tega Sword?
Kinjiro (GoZyu Eagle): Hi! I'm Kinjiro, but you can call me Kin-chan! This Chat is getting hyped up!
Sumino (GoZyu Unicorn): Hmm... An interesting subject. But still, you won't stop me from being No. 1!
Hando (Bun Red): Nice to meet you, Hoeru.
Hoeru (GoZyu Wolf): You too, Hando-senpai. You look like Natsume Tsutsumi. He's Universe Solder Kuwagata-Ohger in my world.
Hando (Bun Red): We share the same actor, Haruhi Iuchi.
Hoeru (GoZyu Wolf): Ah... So, what's your team number? Mine's 50.
Hando (Bun Red): I'm right before you, making my team number 49. By the way, it's weird how our series installment numbers don't match our team numbers. But... We can thank LuPat for that.
Hoeru (GoZyu Wolf): Who's LuPat?
Kairi Yano (Lupin Red): I can explain that.
Keiichiro Asaka (Patren 1gou): As can I.
Hando (Bun Red): Hey, guys. Hoeru, these are the respective reds of teams 42, and 43, but the 42nd installment, Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. It had two three man teams: Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger, AND Keisatsu Sentai Patranger, who had one sixth ranger who switched between each team.
Hoeru (GoZyu Wolf): So these guys are the reason our team numbers DON'T match our season numbers?
Hando (Bun Red): We call them installments, since their each their own story in the entire franchise, but yeah, these two teams are the reason why.
