Entry settings
The black dragonflight is a draconic organization primarily led by the eponymous black dragons to uphold their creed to serve as warders of the earth. The black dragonflight was charged by the titan Khaz'goroth with warding the earth and protecting the various deep places of the world; granting them power over the earth. They were once led by their mighty Aspect, Neltharion the Earth-Warder; though he was ultimately corrupted by the insidious Old Gods and made into their pawn alongside the majority of his flight until its destruction.
After being corrupted, the black dragons did the opposite of their mission; sowing discord and chaos. For many centuries, the black dragonflight was one of the most evil organizations on Azeroth, seeking destruction rather than protection as they once had. They held a deep-seated rivalry with the red dragonflight, who found their cruel ways profane against life. With no other dragonflights on their side, the black dragonflight created other dragons, such as the chromatic dragons and the twilight dragonflight.
Once held in high regard by all others as wise and steadfast, black dragons of modern times are vicious evil creatures, despised by all decent living beings. They delighted in the pain and misery of others. Having been driven mad by the whispers in their heads, they sought dominion of Azeroth and considered all other flights to be hated enemies. Even members of their own flight are never to be trusted, and could nearly all be described as power-hungry. Black dragons often take humanoid form and meddle in the affairs of mortal kingdoms in hopes of bringing about their downfall. They attempt to turn any situation or conflict they may come across to their advantage.

The serpentine naga are masters of sorcery, the naga were formerly Highborne night elves, members of Queen Azshara's court during the age of the Kaldorei Empire. Following the War of the Ancients, and the Great Sundering caused by the destruction of the Well of Eternity, they were transformed into naga by the Old God N'Zoth after Azshara pledged herself to his cause, dedicating her people to become his army and recreate the Black Empire on Azeroth. Since their transformation, they haunted the seas of Azeroth, building a great civilization on the ocean floor in the name of their queen.
Naga are scaled humanoids with the lower bodies of large serpents. Naga can breathe water or air and they are led by Queen Azshara.
Naga women are tall and slender, with fine scales and angular features, and often have at least four arms, though not all do. For some reason naga women have proven better than naga men at maintaining pre-Sundering memories and personalities. As a result, naga women are intellectually and magically superior to their male counterparts, and naga society is matriarchal. While males are more suited for melee combat, female naga are incredible sorcerers, commanding the power of water and ice at their fingertips.
Bigger and physically stronger than naga women, naga men are relatively bestial in appearance. A male naga's head resembles that of a dragon, and he has a muscular humanoid torso. The scales that cover his body are larger and thicker than those that cover the body of a naga woman.
The females have some vague similarities remaining, mostly in their slimmer, upper torsos and their faces, which retained the long, narrow design of night elves. Their arms ended in long, taloned fingers. The males had degenerated even more than the females, their heads low and reptilian, with teeth that jutted out from both the top and bottom of the long maw like a crocodile. Their eyes were deep set and narrow, and their crests and fins, which jutted as sharply as spears in places, were of a darker gold and brown shade.

Descendants of the various stone giants known as Breakers, the ogres were originally enslaved by their progenitors, the ogron. Eventually, the ogre hero Gog the Gronnslayer showed that it was possible to kill the gronn, which both ogres and ogron revered as godlike beings, and he became the founder of the Gorian Empire that would come to rule much of Draenor for centuries until the arrival of the draenei. Over the years, ogre influence gradually waned across the world as they were slowly surpassed by their orc descendants and the draenei as the dominant races of the world. The ogres eventually allied with the Horde and crossed the Dark Portal to fight during the First and Second Wars on Azeroth. Following their defeat against the Alliance of Lordaeron, the ogre clans were scattered across the world. Their heights range from 6 feet to 12 feet.

Entry settings
The Dark Portal, also known as the Great Portal, is one of the two gateways between the worlds of Azeroth and Draenor (now Outland). The Azeroth side portal is located in what is now known as the Blasted Lands in southern Eastern Kingdoms, while its counterpart is in Hellfire Peninsula on Outland, on the Stair of Destiny. Before the destruction of Draenor, it was located in the eastern section of Tanaan Jungle. Originally created in a joint effort between Gul'dan and the demonically possessed Medivh, the Dark Portal served as the Old Horde's method of reaching Azeroth and beginning the First War, as a way to weaken it for the Burning Legion's eventual invasion. It since served as a link between worlds during the Alliance's Invasion of Draenor, the united invasion of Outland, and the war in the alternate universe Draenor. The portal appears to be functionally indestructible, as the Alliance under Khadgar were only able to destroy the structure, not the portal itself.

From an early age, Kael’thas demonstrated prodigious talent in the arcane arts, eventually earning a prestigious place among the Kirin Tor in Dalaran—an unusual position for a prince, but one he embraced with scholarly fervor.
Charismatic, brilliant, and politically astute, Kael’thas was admired by his peers and regarded as a bridge between elven pride and human potential. He was known for his charm and eloquence, though also for his unyielding pride and the sharpness of his judgment.
Kael’thas was absent from Quel’Thalas when Arthas Menethil led the Scourge through the Eversong Woods, sacking Silvermoon and corrupting the sacred Sunwell to resurrect the necromancer Kel’Thuzad. Returning too late to save his homeland, Kael’thas found his kingdom shattered and his father, King Anasterian, slain. The devastation of the Sunwell severed the high elves' connection to their source of magical sustenance, plunging many into magical withdrawal.
In the aftermath, Kael’thas renamed his people the Sin’dorei—“Children of the Blood”—in honor of the fallen and vowed to save them by any means necessary.
After the fall of Quel'Thalas, Kael'thas led what remained of his people, the sin'dorei, in the service of the Alliance. Striving to placate his people's addiction to magic, he allied with Illidan Stormrage and venture to the Outland.
