- #1Mitriaconstant
Keys: world, Mitria, earth
Mitria is the third planet in the Borysthenis system. It is a temperate planet capable of sustaining life and limited amounts of magical energy.
Mitria is a low-fantasy, low-magic world with seven continents; the Upper West Cap, the Lower West Cap, the East Cap, the North Fence, the Lonothian Plateau, Khirican Island, and the Ice Spikes. These are stand-ins for North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica, respectively.
- #2Cruidia
Keys: Cruidia City, Cruidian, Cruidia
Cruidia is the richest country in the world of Mitria, located as the sole country of the Upper West Cap, with a GDP of several million gold. Cruidia is mostly temperate with land on the warmer side and only mildly varied geography featuring plains, plateaus, woodland, and beachy coasts, though there is a central valley desert called the Glass Valley, the source of Cruidian sand and glass exports.
One of Cruidia's most important facets is the military, with over 1.5 million troops total. The military is typically split in half, with an offensive force led by General Calvin of Cruidia and a defensive force led by General Gaspard Rikke. The military, as of current, has been locked in a many year long war with Krameodo after a raid on one of their coastal cities.
Cruidia's government is a Democratic monarchy with a head of state who ascends to power via succession, but laws can only be passed via voting through a parliament, then passed to the king for signing. The current king is King Johann Povlovsky I.
Whilst on paper Cruidia has no national religion, the Yaran faith is the primary religion in the country.
- #3Cruidia Cityconstant
Keys: Cruidia City, Cruidian, Cruidia, city
Cruidia City is the capital of Cruidia and the current home of the royal family and parliament, placed atop and around a massive stone and moss plateau.
Cruidia City's architecture is reminiscent of feudal England, with low-rise residential buildings, high-rise commercial buildings, and a decadent royal palace at the very center.
Cruidia City is split into layers and quarters, an upper layer consisting of the palace, the parliamentary building, union offices, noble residents, and army headquarters, and a lower layer consisting of the residential district, the main church of Yara, the commercial district, and the mining district. At each cardinal direction of the city, North, South, East, and West, there is a grand lift that can be taken to the upper and lower halves of the city. This lift is free to use.
Cruidia's economy is primarily stimulated through trade and the gold mine at the center of the city. The plateau at the center of the city is absolutely filled to the brim with gold. Cruidia is the richest country in the world per capita. This is achieved by the sheer amount of gold and gold coins the country produces.
- #4Krameodo
Keys: Krameodan, Krameodo, Kiserbash
Krameodo, a country south of Cruidia and the country they are currently at war with, is home to primarily Orcs, Goliaths, Giants, and Goblins. Krameodo is considered by outsiders to be one of the poorest countries in the world, however Krameodo itself does fine alone, supporting itself even with their semi-isolationist philosophies. In fact, Krameodo does so well alone, that despite their GDP being the lowest of all the countries, their birthrate and reported quality of life is higher on average than any other country in the world.
Krameodo is a spiritual and folksy place, often referred to as the Land of Death. The entire country is eerie and chilly, often draped in an otherworldly fog. Witches, Hags, and Necromancers can be found abundantly in Krameodo, often practicing their trade publicly. Magic is not a taboo in this country.
Krameodo is one of the least topographically varied countries in the world, featuring evergreen forests, swamps, and bogs. Much of this country is marshland.

- #10Ulfael'ka
Keys: Bellamonte, Ulfield, Bellamonté, Ufael'ka
Ulfael'ka is a snowy country on the western side of the North Fence. It is a bitter cold environment characterized by its constant snow cover, lethally sub-zero temperatures save only for the summer, and its big game megafauna such as owlbears, regular bears, elk, and more. Its national languages are Elvish and Abyssal
Ufael'kan topography is icy and cold, characterized by evergreen forests, vast tundras, icy mountains, and cold ravines. It is said that, millennia ago, the 8th of the Nine Hells, Cania, briefly collided with the land of Ufael'ka after the Archdevil Mephistopheles cursed them, preventing the climate from ever ascending above 10 degrees Fahrenheit ever again.
Ufael'kan economy is primarily driven by production and mining, with iron and silver mines being the most prominent, alongside diamond and copper. The country also produces some gold, but not enough to even slightly compete with Cruidia. Ufael'kan exports go hand in hand with their imports and architecture. Ufael'ka buys sand and glass from Cruidia, using it to accent their buildings with ice-like glass sculptures, fixtures, and other pieces of architecture. Their pride and joy is the Icewind Palace, the largest and most ornate building in the country, built with glass, steel frames, and hard ebony wood interiors.
Religion in Ufael'ka is rather multi-faceted. Unlike a nation like Cruidia, Ufael'ka DOES have a national religion, that being a paganist religion worshipping the Ufael'kan Quartet, four gods that act as pillars and bastions of the country and culture. This national religion isn't enforced, however, and in practice, many rural citizens of Ufael'ka are actually Yarans.
Ufael'ka has been locked in a Cold War with the neighboring (and much warmer) country of Lairis. The two have been attempting to undercut each other for thousands of years.
Ufael'kan government is an absolute monarchy, with a monarch ruling alone with the advice of their court. The ruling family for the last 5,000 years is the Bellamonté family, with King Adrian Bellamonté at the current head of state, followed by his (now deceased) eldest daughter, Zamira, then his youngest, Zira. Ufael'kan government is unique in that the head of state is (almost) always magical, containing psionic powers of some degree or another. King Adrian, just like his grandfather, was born with the power, but curiously, so were his heirs. Heirship will skip entire generations to put a psionic on the throne of Ufael'ka.
- #11Ulfield
Keys: Bellamonte, Ulfield, Bellamonté, Ufael'ka
The capital of Ufael'ka; Ulfield is the largest city on the northern coast of the country.
Circular, save for a semi-circle extension on the western side called the Western Cistern, Ulfield's primary method of self-reliance is their greenhouse technology, and fishing.
Ulfield's three landmarks are the Western Cistern, the Great Greenhouse, and the Icewind Palace.
The Icewind Palace, located far north within the city walls with its back to the sea, is a massive palace made of steel frames and glass shells designed to emulate the look of ice. The interior is furnished with black woods such as ebony and dark walnut.
The Western Cistern is a tacked-on district of Ulfield's borders designed to house the poor, homeless, and sick. It's called a cistern because the waste goes there.
The Great Greenhouse is where Ulfield's primary crops are manufactured. Alcohol is brewed here, as are the plants that grow it such as potatoes and corn.
- #12King Johann Povlovsky
- #13Princess Amelia Povlovsky
Keys: Amelia, Army, Cruidia, Calvin, Krameodo, General, Povlovsky
Born Amelia "Calvin" Povlovsky, General Calvin is the eldest adopted daughter of King Johann Povlovsky I. While her sisters chose to remain gentle princesses, Calvin vied for war, dreaming of crushing her enemies for herself if not her father. Calvin would go on to win two petty wars, showcasing her ruthlessness and ability to tactically strategize.
Now a well-accomplished general in her father's army, Calvin chose to lead the invasion of Krameodo in a retaliatory war. In this war, she quickly proved her worth as a blood drunk fighter, neutering Krameodo's army practically overnight. General Calvin's barbarism was unparalleled, having earned the name "Tigris Enigma" whilst abroad. She disemboweled men, beheaded women, and bisected children, all in the name of her father... and she liked it. Every bit of it.
One day, during the war, Calvin was abruptly called home, having been replaced by the King's other general on the battlefront. She was to be married to the offered son of an allied kingdom, her now husband, Alistair Povlovsky. She later fell pregnant with a child, her daughter Cassandra.
Calvin is what's called an "Ardour Tabaxi", a member of the Tabaxi race that is more human than feline.
Calvin has short black hair, green eyes, pale skin, cat ears, a tail, and often wears chainmail and plate armor. She has a rough, sandpapery tongue and carries two axes, a large, double-headed battleaxe, and a smaller hatchet for close-range engagements. She is never without this hatchet.
- #14Princess Burmakina Povlovsky
Keys: Burmakina, Martin, heir, Povlovsky, king, queen · Secondary:
The next ruler of Cruidia, Burmakina "Martin" Povlovsky is the second eldest child of king Johann Povlovsky and is the first in line for the throne, skipping her illegitimate sister Calvin.
Martin, like her sisters Amelia "Calvin" and Isayeva "Eddie" were adopted by King Johann, making them illegitimate heirs, however, Cruidia law dictates that a ruler may legitimize two heirs within their lifetime. Johann chose Isayeva and Burmakina, making Martin and her eldest child the next two rulers.
Burmakina is the best choice for ruler. She is smart, kind, caring, humorous, and well-learned. Martin is a calico ardour tabaxi and is the younger sister to General Calvin of Cruidia.
- #15Princess Isayeva Povlovsky
- #16Bellamonté Dynasty
Keys: Bellamonté
The Bellamonté dynasty is the human ruling family of Ufael'ka. There are many living members of the family, but the important ones are as follows: King Adrian Bellamonté Queen Helena Bellamonté Princess Zamira Bellamonté (eldest daughter, deceased) Princess Zelda Bellamonté (second eldest, alive) Princess Zariah Bellamonté (middle, alive) Princess Zadie Bellamonté (second youngest, alive) and Princess Zira and Prince Zion Bellamonté (youngest, twins, alive)
The Bellamontés all have dark skin, dark hair, and brown eyes.
- #17King Adrian Bellamonté
Keys: King, Bellamonté, Adrian
The current ruler of Ufael'ka, King Adrian Bellamonté, is a stoic, stable, and reliable ruler. He holds the psionic power of his bloodline, much like his great-grandfather before him, and uses it to effectively rule the country he was given.
King Adrian is a stony, pragmatic, utilitarian man who rules his country with firm fairness. He comes off as aloof, detached, and cold because... he is. King Adrian doesn't feel emotions in the traditional way, and the psychic powers given to him at birth do nothing but exacerbate his symptoms. Still, he's an excellent ruler, husband, and father to all six of his children. He was closest to his eldest daughter, Zamira, before her passing.
King Adrian Bellamonté is a dark-skinned black man with a bald head and a thick beard. He has brown eyes and dresses in traditional Ufael'kan monarchal clothes.
- #18Princess Zamira Bellamonté
Keys: Bellamonte, Zamira, Bellamonté, Ufael'ka
The eldest and now deceased daughter of King Adrian Bellamonté, Zamira Bellamonté, was the first and primary heir of the current king.
A fiery, hot-headed, and dutiful princess, warrior, and daughter, Zamira Bellamonté was groomed from early life to eventually succeed her father in his passing. Zamira was an incredibly capable fighter and an opinionated politician, not to mention her father's closest confidant and family member. King Adrian took his daughter everywhere, training her in politics and combat so that one day she would be able to defend her homeland and lead it to prosperity.
Her father arranged a matrilineal political marriage for her with Lord James of the neighboring country of Kufbach. She would later mother a son with this man, Sebastian Bellamonté.
In her thirties, Zamira contracted an unknown illness, believed to be a genetic lung cancer. For a while, it was benign... until it progressed to fatal. Zamira Bellamonté died of the disease five years after her diagnosis.
Princess Zamira Bellamonte was a dark-skinned black woman with well-developed features. She had black hair with a white patch on her forehead and brown eyes. She wore traditional Ufael'kan attire and was buried on her family's grounds, the Icewind Palace.
- #19Princess Zira Bellamonté
- #20Prince Zion Bellamonté
Keys: Zion, Bellamonté, Adrian, Zira
The youngest and only son of the king of Ufael'ka, Zion Bellamonté is the twin brother of the current living heiress, Zira Bellamonté, and her closest confidant.
Zion is a sarcastic, sardonic, and dry man who makes light of most situations with a sort of burnt humor. He and his sister are closer than close. They were born together, they lived together, and they will die together, or so they say. Zion is unabashed and unashamed of his displeasure with the fact his sister has the Bellamonté psionic power over him, though he holds no true resentment.
Zion and Zira are nearly identical, with both having curly black hair, brown eyes, and dark skin. They wear traditional Ufael'kan noble clothes and are rarely seen out of black.
- #21Captain Wolphira Sunseeker
Keys: Wolphira, Sunseeker, Zira
The middle daughter of the king of Lairis, Wolphira Sunseeker is a skilled warrior and combatant and a captain in her father's military.
At fourteen years old, Wolphira Sunseeker joined the military. She did this to spite her family and her misogynist country and make a name for herself outside of marriage and childbirth, and soared through the ranks.
Wolphira Sunseeker, despite being a soldier, dislikes violence, aiming to solve most problems through diplomacy and speech. She dislikes fighting but can and will to get the job done. She is firmly anti-war and loathes both Lairis, her own country, and it's rival Ulfael'ka for falling into the military industrial machine.
Wolphira Sunseeker has long red hair, blue eyes, pale freckled skin, and muscular physique, and typically wears light armor or masculine lordship wear.
- #22Tabaxiconstant
Keys: Melior, Tabaxi, Ardour
Tabaxi, also known as jaguar people or cat-men, are a race of feline humanoids native to the country of Hipan. There are two subspecies of Tabaxi: Melior and Ardour Tabaxi.
Melior Tabaxi are standard Tabaxi with slender bodies covered in spotted, striped, or patterned fur. Like most felines, Tabaxi have long tails and retractable claws. Melior fur color varies wildly, from all white, patterned, all black, and much in between. Their patterns are identical to housecats. Tabaxi eyes are slit-pupiled and usually green. yellow, or blue. Tabaxi are competent swimmers and climbers as well as speedy runners. They have a good sense of balance and an acute sense of smell.
Ardour Tabaxi, on the other hand, appear more human, having bodies and faces that look nearly identical to them with features more in line with human genealogy. Their only feline features are their claws, the cat ears atop their heads, and their long tails. Beyond this, they appear just like humans.
- #23Church of Yaraconstant
Keys: God, Goddess, Eara, Yara, Church · Secondary:
The Primary religion in Cruidia, the Yaran church is analogous with the church of Christ and Christianity. Yara, the goddess of this religion, is considered all powerful, all knowing, and all compassionate. She is said to have created the world, heaven, hell, evil, and good.
Yara's daughter, a mortal woman named Nericyne, is said to have died for man's sins.
- #24Ufael'kan Quartet
Keys: Quartet, Ufael'kan, Agra, Gephy, Dhimlir, Shalior, Ufael'ka · Secondary: Gods, Ufael'kan, Ufael'ka
The Ufael'kan Quartet are four gods and goddesses that make up the pillars of Ufael'kan culture. Some variations of the Ufael'kan faith believe in minor gods as well, but most just believe in these four. Their duties can be extrapolated fairly easily.
Shalior: The god of the snow, ice, and wind. The ancient peoples believed these three things, snow ice and wind, to be variations of other elements and weather phenomena, thus attributing Shalior to a wider role.
Dhimlir: The god of the hunt and of prey, Dhimlir is the more brutal of the Quartet. Dhimlir's duties go beyond hunting and, by logic of them being a "different kind of hunt", is also a war, marriage, and love god.
Gephy: Gephy is the goddess of the night and day, the moon, sun, and stars. She controls the seasons, the temperature, and the time of day. It is said that, when the nights were dark in the distant past, she stole snowfall from Shalior's clouds and threw it into the night sky, creating the stars.
Agra: A weak goddess, Agra is the goddess of agriculture, farming, gathering, and building. Ufael'ka's climate does not allow plant life to grow easily, so greenhouses must be constructed. Agra is believed to aid in this.
