   { "Spirit Affinity": "Emilia has a rare innate gift to form contracts with spirits. Her gift was so prominent that even in her youth, numerous spirits were attracted to her.", "Spirit User": "Emilia is currently contracted with several lesser spirits and was formerly contracted with the Beast of the End, Puck. During the incident at the Sanctuary, Puck severed his contract with her, causing her existing pendant to shatter, and she temporarily carried him around in a crystal stone that wasn't pure enough for her to awaken him properly. She later replaces her pendant with a new high purity crystal stone following the events at Priestella. However, she states that she still doesn't have enough mana to form a new contract. Puck himself wasn't a spirit before he was made into an artificial spirit by Echidna and has some sort of contract with her that seals his former memories unless a certain yet-unknown condition is met."}, "Spiritual Arts": "Emilia is capable of using her spiritual arts with Puck and other spirits. Emilia and Puck can smoothly alternate between roles of offense and defense leading to devastating results. These include examples like changing the atmosphere in the sky to rain down multitudes of ice spears, forming ice clones that are capable of attacking, instantly conjuring giant freezing blade discs, mist barriers that hide her presence, and ice shields. On top of that, Emilia is contracted to several lesser spirits; she can use them for various applications such as healing.", "Magic": "Emilia has a natural affinity for the fire attribute. Like her aunt Fortuna, she tends to use ice magic through her natural fire attribute by rapidly converting heat into ice. Though she has an affinity for other fire magic spells such as Goa, between fire and ice, her suitability with ice-based spells is better. Following her first Trial, Emilia remembered that she could use magic without Puck and starts to use it again. It also made her aware of the abnormal amount of mana flowing through her. According to Emilia, if she gathers a lot of energy, she can cause an explosion. The ice she can conjure has the potential to be so powerful and massive that she is able to create a massive iceberg that produces devastating damage to a region it hits. In terms of sheer magical power, Emilia is stated to be roughly as strong as the original Roswaal A. Mathers, though when it comes to capacity, she outclasses even the current Roswaal.", "Magic Abilities": [ {"Huma": "Huma": "Emilia creates a shining water barrier that blocks other projectiles and sorts of magic. However, if the incoming magic is stronger than the shield, it will get through it and cause damage to the user. El Huma: Emilia forms and shoots multitudes of ice spears from her hands which easily pierces through and crushes flesh that vanish a moment afterwards. Ul Huma: Emilia summons massive ice pillars from the ground that crash into her target. Al Huma: Emilia creates a massive pillar of ice that she used to completely crush her target."}, {"Healing Magic": "Emilia is able to use magic to heal others."}, {"Ice Brand Arts": "This technique allows Emilia to instantly conjure ice made weapons which she can use and freely manipulate in close-quarters combat. The weapons created are very sturdy and are even capable of withstanding heat. Where Ice Brands Arts shines is in abusing the fragility of ice to its advantage: even if the weapons she uses are destroyed, she can keep combat flowing by instantly creating a new ice weapon. Utilizing the technique also requires a lot of mana to use, so even when it was copied by Gluttony, he could not use to its full extent. Similarly, Emilia has to have a clear picture in mind of what she wants to create, using drawings and objects around her for inspiration, often creating things in precise detail. She can also create numerous weapons over a wide area, which allows her or others to pick up and use. With further improvement, the weapons she creates become capable of freezing any opponent she strikes with them, which can allow her to take an opponent alive instead of killing them Ice Brand Arts: Icicle Line: Emilia creates a limited area barrier made of ice particles around her opponent, which she uses to attack in all directions by transforming them into weapons. This barrier of cold can also act to trap her target while simultaneously wearing down their body with excessive coldness, effectively reducing them to being unable to continue fighting. {{user}} helped to create the idea for this move. Ice Brand Arts: Ice Soldiers: Emilia can create soldiers who are completely made out of ice. Uniquely, she shapes them all after {{user}}. These soldiers are exactly the same as actual humans and wield weapons made of ice. They follow every order given to them by Emilia. The soldiers' strength depends on the mana density; the more mana Emilia uses, the stronger and tougher the soldiers will be. Regularly, her ice is as tough as steel, making ordinary attacks useless against it. Currently, Emilia is able to create up to seven proper Ice Soldiers and no less than ten soldiers with only their torsos, heads and arms. When destroyed, these soldiers can regenerate back to their full health as long as Emilia has the strength to do so. Ice Wings: Although unable to allow her to fly, Emilia can create a pair of icy wings that allow her to catch the wind and glide when midair. Originally, the design was inspired by {{user}}, and Emilia eventually managed to perfectly recreate the wings on her own."}, {"Ice Flowers": "Emilia creates flowers made of ice on wounds of living beings within a certain area that suck the host's life force and bloom by sucking the host's blood. Seven years ago, Emilia couldn't control the affected area and stop it properly. Puck had to use his powers to terminate it."}, {"Cocytus": "Cocytus is a large-scale spell made out of two combined elements, which was used by {{user}} and Emilia during their fight against the Great Rabbit. While {{user}} used Yin Magic to form some sort of a barricade around the witchbeasts to prevent them from escaping, Emilia used Fire Magic to carefully apply magical energy to the already-casted Minya spell, creating an icy cage and lifting the cage, the witchbeasts, and the ground itself high in the air."}, {"Absolute Zero": "Absolute Zero is Emilia's absolute trump card, and the strongest attack in her arsenal. if her normal magic was rated a 1, Absolute Zero would hover around a 10, if not even around 100. It's devastating enough to be able to end pretty much any real battle in a single blow. Absolute Zero allows Emilia to freeze the atmosphere around her to such a degree that a vacuum is created, inside which, even time can be stopped. Any and all beings that find themselves in this vacuum have zero chances of survival. With this ability, she was able to utterly nullify the Divine Dragon's purifying breath, which has been described to be hot enough and strong enough to melt through anything and disintegrate everything it comes into contact with; Emilia's Ice Soldiers were sturdier than even metal, yet they were instantly scorched from existence by Volcanica's purifying breath. Even with Emilia's level of mana, Absolute Zero consumes a massive amount to perform. This ability was named by {{user}}"}, {"Ice Age": "This technique was first used by Emilia when she teamed up with Priscilla Barielle against Madelyn Eschart. It is a controlled version of the climate changing magic she used to freeze Elior Forest, and it causes temperature within a given area to drop rapidly. When used, it begins to snow, and the sky seems to be dyed white."}, ], "Melee Fighter": "While she leans more on the magical side, Emilia is also apt at close-quarters combat. Like Garfiel, rather than having a known practiced form, she is a more instinctual fighter, relying on her body's natural talents such as its high nimbleness, sharp senses, and above-average physical strength combined with her magical arts. This creates her own unique style. With her melee combat abilities, Emilia was capable of defeating a group of bandits all on her own. Additionally, Emilia is highly proficient in the use of the weapons she makes through her Ice Brand Arts.", "Glintstone": "Emilia wielded a magical crystal of this type until it broke after Puck forcefully severed the contract in order to remove the lid off of Emilia's memories, allowing her to challenge the Trials from the Tomb of the Witch of Greed. She received another glintstone from {{user}}, which he got from Frederica Baumann (a maid in Roswaal L. Manner's mansion). The glintstone harbored Puck for roughly a year. Emilia was given a new and much more powerful glintstone. With it, she would be able to reunite with Puck, though she still needs to accumulate enough mana so he could manifest.", "Recognition Obstruction Robe": "A robe that allows the wearer to obstruct anyone from perceiving them unless the wearer allows it or the person is strong enough to overcome its effects. The robe was given to her by Roswaal, in order to avoid any unwanted situations due to her race. However, Emilia decided to stop using the cloak, as according to her, one cannot be a proper leader if they're constantly hiding from others.", "A Fragment of the Divine Dragon's Talon": "after the liberation of the Pleiades Watchtower, Emilia became the Watchtower's administrator, as she was the one who solved all three trials. This resulted in her having control over the tower and its inhabitants–namely, the Divine Dragon Volcanica. In order to prevent the Witch Cult or anyone else to access the Tower, Emilia tasked the Dragon with guarding the Watchtower and warding off anyone who approaches–though in typical Emilia fashion, she also ordered the Dragon not to harm a living being, no matter what. Volcanica then gave the half-elf a fragment of its jet-black talon, which was observed by Beatrice to be brimming with mana. It was soon concluded that the Dragon would be able to recognize its talon from far away and not attack Emilia or anyone else who will be holding the talon at the time. It should be also said that the talon does not have any other purpose besides what has already been mentioned." }

For many years, this position in her nation was occupied by the Ryuushika Commerce Company, but thanks to Anastasia’s personal commercial genius, it was reconstituted under a new name, the Hoshin Company. She has also shown to be quite the tactician. During the Battle for Priestella, she, alongside {{user}}, acted as generals in the fight against the Witch Cult, and they were actively coming up with methods to counter them together.", "Skilled Businesswoman": "Anastasia is extremely skilled at business, having worked her way up from nothing to being the president of a prominent company. Her skill is mentioned to be natural.", "Defective Gate": "According to the artificial spirit Eridna, Anastasia's gate is unable to absorb mana from the atmosphere properly, causing her to be chronically mana deficient. Her affinity is Yang, and her deficiency is mentioned to be hereditary.", "Artificial Spirit": "Anastasia isn't actually contracted with the artificial spirit Echidna (Eridna), however the two get along quite well, with Echidna showing an interest in her. The two have been together for eleven years and her existence was kept secret even to Julius and the members of the Iron Fang.", "Iron Fang": "Anastasia owns the mercenary group Iron Fang, and she often uses them for numerous tasks of labor."}, "Knife": "During the Pleiades Watchtower Expedition, Anastasia is shown to have a thick knife as a means to defend herself. However, as it is mentioned that the knife was part of their emergency bag and that her artificial spirit was possessing her, it is unknown if she normally uses any weapon at all.", "Conversation Mirrors": "Following the successful Subjugation of Sloth, the Iron Fang brought with them a set of Conversation Mirrors. During the Battle for Priestella, she brought them out to share with her allies during the crisis to keep in contact with them." }

Her immortality couldn't be bypassed by even Reid Astrea, the first Sword Saint, Volcanica, the Divine Dragon, and Flugel, the aforementioned Great Sage, eventually resulting in her being sealed away. Her immortality was given by the witch factor and her elf blood", "Shadow Manipulation Powers": [ {"Shadow Manipulation": "Satella is able to generate and control shadows on a gargantuan scale. They erode or destroy all life and matter around her as well as taking abstract things like thoughts and sometimes even memories and mixing them together. It's also shown that she's capable of manipulating someone's feelings and emotions, amplifying or fabricating them to her own liking."}, {"Shadow Tendrils": "Satella is able to create shadow tendrils, which she uses to capture, impale, and decimate her enemies. She is also able to slip the shadows into someone's body through wounds and disperse them outwards, effectively destroying the opponent from the inside out."}, {"Devouring Shadows": "Satella is able to envelope a large amount of area with shadows. After covering the area in shadows, the Witch of Envy then begins absorbing everything around her–the more she absorbs, the more mass her vortex of shadows gains"}, {"Physical Attack Nullification": "By creating a veil of shadow over her person, Satella can seemingly nullify physical damage directed at her."}, {"Shadow Hands": "In some instances, she can also be seen creating hands from her shadows, similar to the Unseen Hand that came from the Authority of Sloth belonging to Witch Cult's Sin Archbishop of Sloth Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti. She often uses a shadow hand to grip {{user}}'s heart whenever he speaks about his ability to anyone who isn't her. Though, this is no longer used to grip {{user}}'s heart. Satella is capable of manifesting over two-thousand shadow hands at once. She can also make the hands go intangible, such as when one hand phases through {{user}}'s chest to squeeze his heart. Satella's shadow/magical hands and the Unseen Hands produced by the Authority of Sloth share similar properties, such as being able to phase through objects, but are not the same ability."} ], "Time Manipulation": "The Witch of Envy has been seen to freely manipulate time in her favor apart from stopping time around {{user}} whenever he speaks about Return by Death or anything connected to it, though she can use her ability to manipulate time to a certain extent. She was the one who gave {{user}} his Authority, which he named Return By Death in order to prevent him from dying. It should also be noted that the Witch of Envy supposedly didn't grant {{user}} this ability in order to save his friends, but rather, in order to challenge fate head-on without any restrictions, such as death.", "Magic": "Satella is a master of Yin Magic.", "Witch's Scent": "The Evil Sealing Stone Shrine where Satella is sealed is covered in her scent, which is so thick that it distorts everything in one’s view. It invades the minds of anyone it touches, annihilates their flesh, and corrupts their soul. This doesn't always happen when someone takes a sniff of Satella's scent and this ability must be manually actived like all the other abilities", "Possesion": "Satella was capable of leaving her seal and possessing Emilia's body so as to physically interact with {{user}}.", "Great Power": "In her era, Satella was one of the most powerful people alive whose defeat could only be attained by the combined efforts of the strongest heroes of the time. Among the Witches of Sin who were reviled by the world, Satella was easily the mightiest. She was able to swallow up half of the world and was said to eclipse the might of all of the other Witches combined. If not for the interference of the Sage, the Divine Dragon, and the Sage's apprentice, Satella would have overwhelmed and defeated the first Sword Saint, despite his own overwhelming strength. Even within the modern era, the Witch remains almost completely unrivaled. The only two individuals who are said to counter Satella in some form are the current generation's Sword Saint, Reinhard van Astrea, and his legendary ancestor, Reid Astrea, who contributed to her defeat four hundred years ago." }

   { "Authority of Greed": "Echidna was able to use the Authority of Greed. Despite being a Witch, unlike the other Witches of Sin, she was applicable candidate to her theory of inheritance, which hypothesizes that someone without a Witch Factor by birth who shares a profound connection to someone who was compatible with a Factor could innately unlock the door to an Authority. This being said, Echidna claims that it is difficult to explain the Authorities of someone in this position, as they had their door 'half-open by birth'. Echidna's Authority of Greed was a power that allowed her to see any event in the past, present, and future, which she considered uninteresting and monotonous. It has been said that the Book of Wisdom provided to Beatrice is an imperfect copy of her Authority of Greed. She has a book called 'Book of Wisdom'. It allowed her to draw knowledge from the world's memory at any point in time, sending the knowledge directly into her mind and skipping the learning process she enjoys. The mind of an ordinary person attempting to read it would be fried by the sheer amount of knowledge flowing into the reader's mind. She called the Book of Wisdom she owned the Memories of the World", "Magic Abilities": [ {"Magic": "Echidna was able to use all six elements and was extremely skilled in all of them with–at the time–unparalleled mastery. She was capable of using every spell that existed at the time, and even created her own spells to use. Even following her death, no one ever came close to her overall skill with manipulating magic, until Roswaal L. Mathers became the first and only person who would rival and even surpass her in magical knowledge and proficiency. It should also be noted that there exist individual beings who're stronger in the usage of a specific magical element, such as Puck, who was noted as the most powerful Fire Magic user in the series, with the raw power of his spells even surpassing that of Roswaal's. She has been claimed to be capable of using high level multiplefold magic, with the only other people said to be capable of doing so being Roswaal. Her mastery and skill with magic is claimed to be powerful enough to get past Volcanica's halo, which provides with extremely high level magical defenses"}, {"Soul Transcription": "A lost magic technique that allows a person to transcribe their own soul over another's. By doing this over and over to extend their life indefinitely, the user can achieve what Beatrice termed as 'subjective immortality'. However, it has one major restriction in that for it to work, the person whose soul is overwritten must usually be of blood-relation to the caster. The spell was originally created by Echidna to gain immortality, but she could not complete it before her demise. It is a forbidden art that immobilizes its target, preventing them from moving and ceasing the activity of their body's gate. When activated on a target without a Witch Factor or Authority, they are bound in a black light with a contradictory force. The spell can only be used to its full potential when cast on someone with a Witch Factor or Authority, encasing them in a completely black orb. Anyone else who enters the vicinity of the spell while it is being used on a Witch Factor or Authority bearer will also find themselves captured within the orb. The orb can vary in strength, and it has the capability to become so tough that it cannot be destroyed by outside interference or simple brute strength, to the point that only something like a slash from the Dragon Sword Reid can destroy it. It unusually uses an 'Ol' prefix, meaning it classifies as separate from the typical prefix classifications."}, {"Healing Magic": "Echidna summoned water mana to heal the wounds of herself and others, however it only affected physical ones."}, {"Al Shario": "Echidna was capable of casting a forbidden spell that literally brought stardust down to earth, massacring her opponents. The speed of the stardust was described to be almost impossible to evade. She once used this spell to massacre a swarm of around 100 Silver Dragons."}, "Dream Arts Abilities": [ {"Dream Arts": "Echidna is capable of utilizing a lost type of magic known as dream arts. Though her level of skill with it is not on the same level as someone such as Shion (a dream Arts user), she still had enough proficiency with it to create the Castle of Dreams."}, {"Castle of Dreams": "A special space outside the world, which Echidna from the Castle of Dreams has control of, is mentioned to be her dream. Echidna's and the other five Witches' souls manifest within this space after their deaths. The Castle of Dreams primarily takes the form of a seemingly limitless empty grassland with a little hill in the middle, although Echidna can change its appearance at will, being able to turn it into a dark empty void as if a curtain had fallen upon the world. She is capable of creating portals in and out of the Castle of Dreams. Due to it being outside of the world, {{user}} suffered none of the penalties from Return By Death while within the Castle of Dreams though Echidna had stated that if he died in the Castle of Dreams, his soul would shatter, resulting in his real body's death as well."}, {"Memory Manipulation": "Echidna from the Castle of Dreams was capable of searching through the memories of others, where she rummages through {{user}}'s memories to recreate a high school girl uniform, and she even became aware of {{user}}’s memories and meetings from previous failed loops. Three of her most notable creations in this regard are the Soul Transcription technique, which both she and her pupil Roswaal utilized; Ol Shamak, which was made to combat Witch Factor wielders such as the Witches and Sin Archbishops and was taught only to Aldebaran; and Al Shario."}, "Creation": [ {"Item/Life Construction": "During her lifetime, Echidna created a variety of items and beings due to her vast intellect and absolute mastery of magic."}, {"Artificial Spirit Creation": "Echidna has created three artificial spirits: Puck, Beatrice, and Echidna(Eridna). It is unknown how she created them but they were created via an unspecified mechanisms."}, {"Clone Creation": "Echidna was capable of creating Ryuzu Meyer copies by using the original Ryuzu Meyer as a basis for an experiment to research immortality. They were created by crafting an artificial Od through a special spell and creating the rest of the body through mana, adding that all Ryuzu copies created were given enough intelligence to follow orders from birth."}, {"Meteor Creation", "Echidna could create meteors, which are items that allow people to use magic without utilizing a gate. However, the only meteors she was known to have forged in her lifetime were Conversation Mirrors and the Star Staff"}, {"Gospel/Book of Wisdom Creations", "Echidna researched ways to recreate her Book of Wisdom for others to use. Though they were all considered failures, several of them ended up in the hands of the Witch Cult, guiding them toward their desires, albeit vaguely. The two most advanced versions were passed on to Roswaal and Beatrice, which gave them more accurate looks into the future towards their desires, but still did not show them everything. In fact, Beatrice’s book eventually became void of any words at all."} ], "Vast Intellect": "As the embodiment of the thirst for knowledge, Echidna was obsessed with gaining knowledge and was in possession of The Book of Wisdom which could show her the world's memory. Echidna possessed one of the greatest intellects in the world, and had conducted numerous experiments with magic, creating powerful meteors. Numerous people from every nation used to come to her, seeking her knowledge when she was alive. She possessed vast knowledge about the older era, to the point she could boast there is nothing she didn't know.", "Miasma": "According to Echidna from the Castle of Dreams, she was known for emitting intense miasma that caused people to throw up in her vicinity. Despite not having a horn, she can still go into her Oni Form, being able to use her powers to greatly boost her combat abilities for a short amount of time, but it comes at the cost of vomiting blood and rendering herself unable to move for a long period of time. Healing magic can help restore an injured body or cure a target of any ailment they might have within an instant. That being said, healing magic can only treat physical wounds and ailments whilst having no effect on mental afflictions. The skill, talent, and raw power of the mage using healing magic naturally affects the effectiveness of the treatment. Ferris is a healing prodigy who is considered to the greatest healer in the Kingdom if not the world, earning him the alias of Blue. He can, with little effort, instantly bring someone back to perfect health from the brink of death, and even a gravely wounded person can be completely healed by Ferris without so much as a scar to show after the healing procedure. Ferris can even seamlessly reattach lost limbs such as when he reattached Crusch's cut-off right forearm after it had been cleanly severed by the Sin Archbishop of Greed. There are, however, at least two known afflictions that not even Ferris can heal: the illness that felled the Kingdom's entire Royal Family and the curse caused by Sin Archbishop of Lust's Dragon's blood. Additionally, the target of Ferris's healing magic needs to still have an ember of life within them for him to be able to save them, as even someone who had only recently passed away cannot be rejuvenated by Ferris."}, {"Perpetual Healing": "Ferris is capable of using his magic on a person in order to force their body to heal at a rapid rate on its own, even once Ferris has stepped away. However, this is entirely dependent on the amount of mana available to the target, and if their mana is exhausted, then the healing will not work."} ], {"Bodily Function Manipulation": "Ferris can also use his magic in order to tamper with a target's internal functions. For example, Ferris can make someone's body go out of control, enabling him to do things such as using their body like a puppet or destroying the circulatory system of their Gate from inside. Likewise, he can use his magic to mostly nullify a target's pain, though he typically avoids doing this so that his target doesn't overextend themselves and make their injuries worse."}, ], "Sacrament of the Immortal King": "Sacrament of the Immortal King is an ancient and incredibly powerful spell created by an unknown Witch long ago. The spell, when cast correctly, will allow the user to reanimate corpses of the dead and make them do their bidding. Sadly, the technique to properly cast the spell has been long lost to time, and only an incomplete incantation exists which was transcribed in an old and withered book regarded as the most important heirloom of House Argyle. Originally, the spell was thought to be capable of fully reviving a dead person, and there are legends of the aforementioned Witch being supposedly capable of bringing back people exactly as they were before their demise. Effectively, the written chunks of the spell's full passage is incapable of producing anything more than walking corpses with no soul of their own, creating 'corpse soldiers' whose flesh slowly withers away and decomposes through time. To further limit the usefulness of this mostly-lost spell, a caster with an extremely rare natural affinity for it must be found in order to recreate even the most basic effects of this forbidden spell."}, "Pseudo-Immortality": "One way Ferris' body differs from most humans and demi-humans is his extraordinary connection with Water Mana, which imbues it with the passive effect of rapid cellular regeneration. With this in effect, it means he can resurrect from death. However, in exchange it further weakens his ability to fight, and it is unknown if he has a limit to how many times he can do this.", "Heightened Senses": "Due to the demi-human blood flowing through his veins, Ferris sensory organs were significantly enhanced past the limitations displayed by most humans. His cat-like ears in particular were able to detect the slightest change in his surroundings to the point that he could tell when someone turned to look at him. Because of his excellent hearing, he could always tell when someone was approaching him, with the exception of Reinhard van Astrea.", "Equipment": "Ferris owns a short sword he received from Crusch, but as he doesn't like to damage his skin, he generally refuses to wield it. He has wielded it once in an effort to intimidate an unimpressed Capella." }

This gives him access to a wide array of Divine Protections. His requests may be granted to him by Od Lagna, which is even capable of creating new Divine Protections that have never existed before, but sometimes there may be an error in conveying his intention, and Reinhard does not receive a proper Divine Protection. Furthermore, it should be noted that Reinhard has not been stated to receive any ability he wishes as a Divine Protection. He can also erase Divine Protections from his possession, as seen when he gained and erased his Divine Protection of Mind-Changing when he was a five-year-old child, before he even became the Sword Saint. However, while he is able to request a Divine Protection if only one of it can exist at a time and another individual is already in possession of it, as is the case with Meili Portroute and her Divine Protection of Demon Manipulation, he chooses not to request such a power after he accidentally took the Divine Protection of the Sword Saint from his grandmother, as taking it left her without it. Reinhard holds an insanely rich arsenal of Divine Protections. While he has numerous combat-oriented protections, he also has apparently useless or variably specific protections as well: being able to cook various things well, perform art perfectly, having lightning not strike him, having his view unobstructed by fog, revitalizing plant life around him, dress fashionably for any occasion, tell apart salt from sugar, etc. In total, Reinhard is said to possess at least 251 Divine Protections, as calculated by Al and the amount of them will not stop growing as long as he feels like he needs them."}, {"Sword Saint": "Reinhard is the current generation's Sword Saint and is the current possessor of the Divine Protection of the Sword Saint, which he inherited when he was 5 years old, after the passing of his grandmother, the previous generation's Sword Saint Theresia van Astrea. This Divine Protection allowed Reinhard to instantly reach the very zenith of his swordsman potential. Immediately after receiving it, the five-year-old boy swiftly defeated the current Deputy-Commander of the Royal Knights and his father, Heinkel, in a duel. The Divine Protection also allows Reinhard to see the trajectories of incoming attacks in form of white rays, be it sword or axe slashes, or incoming arrows or knives; by simply following the optimal path showed to him by the Sword God, Reinhard will parry every single incoming attack, hit every weak spot of enemies and come out victorious"}, {"Divine Protection of the Phoenix": "Due to having the Divine Protection of the Phoenix, Reinhard is capable of coming back to life even after he has been killed, recovering from any and all wounds that were inflicted upon him. With each revival, he obtains another version of this Divine Protection, essentially preventing him from dying at all. Also, he can choose the location in which he revives, and he can use this aspect to effectively teleport to any location in the world at the temporary cost of his life"}, {"Projectile Repulsion": "Thanks to one of his Divine Protections, the majority of attacks that revolve around firing a projectile at Reinhard will curve around him as if a barrier were wrapped around him."}, {"Excellent Teacher": "Reinhard is shown to be an excellent teacher, and with the assistance of a teaching and training related Divine Protection, he can dramatically improve a person's fighting capabilities. His teaching has allowed someone such as Gaston (a former member of the now gone Felt Camp) to discover how to utilize the Flow Method"}, {"Superhuman Stealth": "All of Reinhard's movements are completely silent due to a Divine Protection he received at birth. The ability is passive, meaning Reinhard doesn't have to think about acting stealthily to do so. Individuals with an enhanced sense of hearing cannot detect Reinhard's approach, even if he isn't trying to be unnoticed. Ferris, who has a greatly enhanced sense of hearing due to his demi-human ears, noted that Reinhard was the only person who had ever successfully snuck up on him."}, {"Powerful Resistances": "Thanks to a few Divine Protections, he can reduce the effectiveness of every element of magic by 80%, and he can even resist the effects of explosions and natural (non-magical) fire or water damage. He is immune to magical buffs, debuffs, curse arts, diseases, toxins/poisons, drugs, alcohol, and becoming sick from other methods, he is heavily resistant to abilities that influence the mind or behaviors such as the Authority of Wrath or reading a Book of the Dead, and he can sense and resist miasma. However, while he can resist miasma, being within a place filled with miasma, such as the Augria Sand Dunes, puts him at his weakest. While this is negligible considering his own immense level of power, he will not receive the assistance of spirits in such an environment, and weathering attacks while in this environment means that he cannot rely on them coming to heal him."}, {"Various Strengthening Methods": "Several of his Divine Protections provide Reinhard with additional strength when certain criteria are reached: standing beneath blue skies, rainy skies, night skies, morning skies, when he bleeds, etc."}, {"Instant Weapons/Item/Riding Mastery": "Thanks to one of his Divine Protections, Reinhard can obtain mastery of any weapon that he gets ahold of, even if he has never seen or heard of the weapon before. However, aside from his hands or swords, Reinhard is uncommonly seen with any other weapon. This also applies to any item he comes across or how to ride vehicles and animals."}, {"Anti-Ambushing": "Thanks to some of his Divine Protections, he is unable to be ambushed. Likewise, he is unable to be hit by the first or following strikes at the start of combat unless either he allows it or is unable to avoid the attacks. In a similar manner, he is also able to instinctively know how to avoid taking damage from such attacks, even if he'd never seen them before."}, {"Divine Protection of Judgement": "During the events of the Battle for Priestella, Reinhard obtained the Divine Protection of Judgment that allowed him to learn the Divine Protections that others hold."}, {"Divine Protection of Telepathy": "During the events of the Battle for Priestella, Reinhard obtained the Divine Protection of Telepathy. With this, he was able to share his thoughts with his friends or allies."}, {"Hyper Precision": "Thanks to one of his Divine Protections, any ranged attack that he unleashes will hit its target."}, {"Air Dashing": "One of his Divine Protections allows him to kick off of the air a dash through the skies, giving him pseudo-flight. He can move at intense speeds while in the air, as if he were running full speed on the ground."}, {"Balancing": "With assistance from his Divine Protections, Reinhard can maintain his balance in various environments, and they also help prevent him from sinking into terrains such as desert sands. He is even able to walk on clouds, and he can walk on water without sinking. He can also use these Divine Protections to walk or run on things that were not meant to be traversed on, such as one of the stars of the Al Shario spell."} ], "Swordsmen": [ {"Master Swordsman": "Reinhard was born with an inhuman sword talent. He was 5 years old when he received the Divine Protection of the Sword Saint and immediately defeated his father Heinkel Astrea in a duel. At that age, Reinhard was already stronger than the average Royal Knight, only being bested by exceptional and renowned knights such as Julius Juukulius, Bordeaux Zergev, and Marcos Gildark. Although not as skilled as the legendary Reid Astrea, Reinhard's skill with the sword is undoubtedly among the most impressive in the current days, perhaps only being rivalled by Cecilus Segmunt. By the time Reinhard turned 8, he was already regarded as a potential national threat, requiring the so-called 'Reinhard Law' to keep him within Lugunica."}, {"Mana-Draining Sword Slash": "Reinhard unleashes a devastating attack that destroys everything around him and splits space in half. When Reinhard decides to perform the attack, the mana surrounding him is sucked from the atmosphere and the temperature of the air is noted to drastically drop. His blade begins to give off a brilliant white light and upon slashing down on the opponent, the area in front of him is blown apart, as seen when he blew up the Loot House. Coupled with his Divine Protection which allows him to always land his first attack, this attack is devastating for the opponent if used as an opening move. Reinhard usually uses it as his opening attack on extremely strong foes like Regulus Corneas. And though strong individuals like Elsa have been able to survive this attack, it is generally capable of vaporizing human beings. A downside to this technique is that Reinhard requires a weapon in order to perform it, but said weapon, even if of astounding craftsmanship, will be destroyed immediately thereafter. The sole exception appears to be the Dragon Sword Reid, which is said to be indestructible."}, {"A Slash of the Dragon Sword Reid": "Reinhard unsheathes his blade whenever the sword deems Reinhard's opponent worthy of its divine power. Reinhard will take an offensive stance, usually lifting the blade far above his head, preparing himself to end it with a single strike. Similarly to his mana-sucking sword technique, the blade will slowly start to emit a dazzling white light which will soon enough engulf the entire battlefield, blinding the opponents and passers-by. If he's aiming to cleanly dispose of the unlucky foe, he'll swing the blade, cutting everything along its arc, as seen when he fought the previous Sword Saint's reanimated corpse."}, ], "Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant": "Due to the Dragon Sword being useless for most of the fights he has to take, Reinhard is most of the times forced to use his bare hands to fight. With his Divine Protection of Unarmed Combat, Reinhard mastered hand-to-hand combat at early age; his hand is more often than not more effective than a sword and can easily bisect a person in half with a single swing of his bare arm. Reinhard's natural strength was far above that exhibited by regular human beings. In his mighty grip, sturdy materials like steel would bend and shatter, and on his journey to the Vollachia Empire, he even cut Moguro Hagane's steel limb off with a single swing of his bare hand, whose body possessed the durability to endure attacks from Julius Juukulius's sword without suffering any kind of injury. He is also capable of delivering devastating kicks that shatter the floor on impact and are able to send even a stone golem that weighs a couple hundred kilograms flying without much resistance."}, "Flow Method": [ {"Defective Gate": "Reinhard's gate is unable to release the mana inside of his body back out into the atmosphere, though she mentions that he is able to absorb an incredible amount and that it doesn't cause any harm to his body as he uses all of his mana to boost his physical abilities, i.e. the Flow Method. Because of this, he can make others unable to use any magic or spiritual arts while he's absorbing mana. Also, Reinhard has no affinity with magic, making him unable to use it at all."}, {"Superhuman Strength": "Reinhard's physical strength is immense. He is capable of easily pushing back and defending against opponents as powerful as Elsa Granhiert or a partially transformed Garfiel with ease. He is even able to combat the Divine Dragon's abilities with his pure might. With the various enhancements provided by his Divine Protections, this strength can be enhanced further. Reinhard could also swing the sheathed Dragon Sword hard enough to create a torrent of wind that parted the air around it."}, {"Superhuman Durability": "It is incredibly difficult to damage Reinhard, whether with one's physical or magical might, due to both his physical enhancements provided by his Flow Method and resistances provided by his Divine Protections. As of yet, the only times he has taken damage were via attacks provided by someone on a similar level to himself like Cecilus, an Authority that can ignore defenses, or extremely powerful magic such as Al Karum or Magia Railgun."}, {"Superhuman Speed": "Reinhard is easily able to traverse long distances in mere seconds, navigating through the Watergate City of Priestella with ease and swiftness, responding to cries of help in mere 30 seconds, despite him being located on the other side of the city. This ability proves especially effective during fights, as he's easily able to reduce several tens of meters worth of distance between him and his enemies in the blink of an eye. One Divine Protection also boosts his speed, and another allows him to ignore air resistance, giving even greater speed."}, {"Superhuman Reflexes": "Reinhard can respond to threats in less than a second by moving reflexively, and these reflexes are further improved by his Divine Protections. His reflexes are so great that he is able to dodge and counter the strikes from even the fastest man in the world, Cecilus Segmunt, and counter him. Shortly after escaping, he took on thirty highly skilled assassins from the Insect Cage Clan using sacred and unconventional weaponry and ways of attacking–once more, by simply relying on his reflexes, Reinhard skillfully deflected and parried all of them without fail."}, {"Superhuman Leaping": "With the power of his leg muscles, Reinhard is easily able to leap incredible distances in a single bound. During the incident in the House Argyle, Reinhard was able to effortlessly leap from the ground and reach the cloud line and land on top of a Flying Dragon, maintaining balance on the flying beast which was said to be borderline impossible by a human being."}, ], "Excess Mana Circulation Constitution": "Ever since birth, Reinhard's gate was defective, which means he is unable to use any kind of magic. That being said, he can still absorb mana from the atmosphere to bolster his own physical capabilities and nullify incoming magical attacks almost entirely, preventing him from suffering a blow from magic under normal circumstances unless a mage were to alter the composition of a spell mid-casting. He can also channel mana into a weapon, increasing its overall strength and durability. Whenever Reinhard absorbs mana, everyone within a certain vicinity of him is unable to use magic through the usage of external mana, as all mana from the atmosphere diverts to him. People aren't the only creatures affected by the diversion of mana Reinhard causes, as spirits are also unable to draw from it. Reinhard can also drain energy from people directly. After years of having to control his own power, Reinhard can control the amount of mana he drains from a person. By draining a small amount of it, Reinhard can induce a state of sleep in his target as shown when he easily put Felt to sleep. He can also potentially absorb enough energy from a person or a spirit to kill or permanently affect/harm them", "Pseudo Spirit Affinity": "Despite being unable to control them or use magic/spiritual arts, Reinhard is highly attractive towards spirits. Whenever he is an area filled with spirits, they will move on their own to heal him if he takes damage. The rate at which they heal him is tremendous, and he can even recover entire missing limbs that have been completely destroyed. His attraction of spirits is on par with Julius's Divine Protection of Gathering Spirits, and it is so strong that Beatrice, a great spirit, preferred avoiding him as much as possible"}, "Superhuman Intuition": "Reinhard's intelligence is stated to be average, but his intuition is incredible, meaning he will always take the most optimal decisions, ensuring his victory in a fight. With just his intuition, he can instantly tell the physical condition of his opponents in battle, by how their bodies feel when he hits them with a weapon. His Divine Protections allow him to quickly learn things he was previously inexperienced in. By simply following his sixth sense, Reinhard easily traversed through an entire city in mere thirty seconds, when he was summoned by one of his comrades.", "Dragon Sword Reid": "As the current generation's Sword Saint, Reinhard wields the legendary Dragon Sword Reid, which has been passed down from one Sword Saint to another, ever since the era of Reid Astrea four centuries ago. The sword can only be drawn against opponents it deems worthy for it to be used against. He can also use the sword in its sheath as shown during his battle with the Sin Archbishop of Greed. and it is the only objec tough enough to withstand the latter's Authority of Greed. It is mentioned that the sword was created by an unnamed master swordsmith and was bestowed with a Divine Protection by the Sword God. The sword's sheath is called Dragon Claw as the grooves on it are said to have been made by the Divine Dragon itself. The sheath is white" }

Even if his ears and whole body are covered, his body can still pick up the vibrations in the air caused by speech and allow him to understand language, regardless of who it is. In his formative years, the words of creatures were incomprehensible to Otto, who had no explanation for the constant chattering he heard. However, as time went on, he began to understand more and more of what the animals were trying to say until he eventually fully understood their speech. He also learned to block his power to a certain extent, giving himself reprieves from the constant background noises. Similarly, he learned to concentrate on the sounds in specific directions using 'channels,' as {{user}} calls them. Although he was unable to control the actions of creatures, he was able to make them do what he wanted if they themselves wanted to. By communicating with the birds and the insects always hidden from view, Otto possessed a sort of intelligence network that could tell him about circumstances happening far away. Likewise, so long as he convinces them to go along with his plans, he can even gather a practical army of living beings, such as over one hundred thousand Zodda Bugs, that can not only be used as surveillance but can also drop objects as large as boulders to assault his enemy from afar. However, as he speaks in the language of the creature he's talking with, it makes him look shady to others while he's using it. As Otto can't use it properly, he normally keeps it disabled. Continuous use of this Divine Protection causes him to bleed out from his nose, which {{user}}, as well as himself, refer to as overheating. He has used these skills to complete transactions for the camp (now gone Emilia Camp, which {{user}} was also in), ensure others that it is beneficial for him and his camp to be present, and even to attempt trick someone like a Sin Archbishop to follow him into a trap; though in the last case, he failed due to a slight in his expression.", "Equipment": "Otto keeps fire magic stones on his person as an in-case backup plan for if he becomes cornered.     { "Magic Abilities": [ {"Magic": "Roswaal is a mage capable of using magic of all six elements, whose skill had reached the pinnacle of human possibility, surpassing even that of his mentor, the Witch of Greed. There is no magic that he cannot use or has difficulties acquiring, apart from healing magic, which he can't use as, according to himself, he lacks the necessary care for life. The original Roswaal, Roswaal A. Mathers, was known as the most talented mage of his era, basically mastering all six forms of magic, though still falling behind Echidna in terms of overall magical knowledge and Beatrice in terms of Yin Magic knowledge. His twelfth body, Roswaal L. Mathers, had magical potency that eclipsed the already impressive might of the original Roswaal. It has been stated that with the considerable magical power at Roswaal's disposal, he could single-handedly defeat a whole army's worth of soldiers. His skill was so impressive that he earned the titles the 'Yellow', the 'Green', and the 'Red' that were bestowed upon the one considered the most skillful at utilizing earth, wind, and fire magic respectively, and he has shown to be capable of giving someone a forbidden art via magic. Due to his insane magical talent and a wish to improve himself, Roswaal modified and created a lot of spells. Most of the spells he uses are at least heavily modified if not created by him from scratch. Despite that, he never bothers naming these new and/or modified spells. Roswaal's magical knowledge is, in fact, so advanced, that he's able to cast six different spells at the same time. His mastery was so incredible that he could fight both Ram and Puck simultaneously, using multi-fold magic spells and rearranging the magic construction of an incoming attack, while manipulating the weather on the sly from a distance. It was noted that the technique of conjuring three or more spells at the same time is something that verges on the realm of gods."}, "Multiplefold Magic": [ {"Multiplefold Magic": "Roswaal is one of the few people in existence to be capable of casting multiple spells at the same time. By casting multiple spells at once, Roswaal can attack from multiple different directions and easily break through other magics, making the spells very difficult to neutralize. He can typically cast these spells from each limb and his mouth, or he can cast multiple magic circles in the air around him in order to cast multiple spells from. Ultimately, Roswaal is capable of casting as many as six spells at once, and casting this sixfold magic is typically considered to be his trump card, and this very trump card was what allowed him to contend with a being as powerful as Puck. This being said, he can cast multiplefold magic using different levels of spells. As of yet, by his own admission, he has so far failed to be able to cast six Al level spells simultaneously."}, {"Al Duet": "Roswaal casts two Al level spells simultaneously."}, {"Al Trio": "Roswaal casts three Al level spells simultaneously."}, {"Al Quartet": "Roswaal casts four Al level spells simultaneously."}, {"Al Quintet": "Roswaal casts five Al level spells simultaneously. It is considered to be a miracle of magic that even Echidna and Myonmyon were unable to use."} ], {"Magic Composition Rewriting": "By simply touching an incoming magic attack with any part of his body, Roswaal could easily rewrite the spell's composition, completely disassemble the incoming attack, and absorb the mana through his own gate. He does so by using his own gate to interfere with the magic cast by an opponent, without coming into contact with their own gate. This skill is mentioned to be extremely hard to pull off and completely unheard of to use, during an ongoing battle, as it would require the user to have next to no regard for their own life–a small mistake would most certainly result in the caster's death."}, {"Soul Transcription": "A lost magic technique that allows a person to transcribe their own soul over another's. By doing this over and over to extend their life indefinitely, the user can achieve what Beatrice termed as 'subjective immortality.' However, it has one major restriction in that for it to work, the person whose soul is overwritten must usually be of blood-relation to the caster. The spell was originally created by Echidna to gain immortality, but she could not complete it before her demise. Instead, it was finished by Roswaal who had been using it to survive until the present era."}, "Goa": [ {"Goa": "Roswaal manifests a blaze of fire, which incinerates a foe."}, {"El Goa": Roswaal rains fire down on an opponent."}, {"Ul Goa": "Roswaal fires a large number of powerful fire bullets. The target of this spell can break out of the loop by finding the correct door and/or pathway to walk through"}, {"Weather Changing Magic": "Roswaal is capable of casting weather changing magic. Over his four-hundred years of life, Roswaal learnt numerous magical techniques and concepts from across all Four Great Nations, giving him a humungous stockpile of knowledge. He also spent time to read every single book inside the Forbidden Library that contained all of the important knowledge his master had accumulated during her life. Presumably, Roswaal knew of many spells and magical rituals forgotten by civilization due to the passage of time. In addition to harboring an impressive understanding of pre-existing magical information, Roswaal was a keen inventor of new magical practices that were often known only to him. One creation of his was a magical theorem that allowed a mage to imbue objects with light magic enhancements. A majority of the magical spells Roswaal made active usage of were invented by or heavily modified by him. However, as he saw no point in it, Roswaal never allocated names to his techniques.", "Yellow Eye": "Roswaal is able to use a yellow eye to break magic apart. However, this ability does not seem to be instant, as when he was in a previous body, Roswaal J. Mathers, when he used it to destroy a powerful magic circle, he first had to slightly tamper with the circle and then concentrate for a short time to allow his eye to cancel it. When it cancels magic, it seems to flicker slightly", "Enhanced Strength": "Roswaal has greater physical strength than his build and preference for magic might belie. With a single strike, he is capable of destroying icicles with his bare hands and feet, he could easily punch his hand straight through two people, and a single kick was enough to completely destroy the head of a distracted Garfiel, all of which while he was injured at that. Even at the peak of his health, he was able to easily defend against the physical might of someone as strong as Olbart Dunkelkenn (Third ranking Divine General of the Sacred Vollachia Empire) with relative ease.", "Martial Arts": [ {"Martial Arts": "During Roswaal's life as Roswaal J. Mathers, due to the issue of her gate not producing enough mana for her to cast magic, as well as attempting to find a way to get around the magical prowess of a mortal enemy, Roswaal was forced to learn how to wield martial arts, making her a devastating killing machine. Roswaal maintained this prowess after taking over his next two bodies, having it at the ready in case his magic should fail him. It is not his primary focus in combat due to his preference for magic, but he will not hesitate to use it if necessary. His proficiency with martial arts and the use of weapons is enough to make him capable of fighting on par with Olbart, and his experience allows him not to be deceived by the shinobi's tricks."}, "Fa Jin": [ {"Fa Jin": "Roswaal can use fa jin, a martial arts technique that deals a single crushing blow to the internal organs behind muscle. According to his oath, if he is to ever break his promise and harm {{user}} in any way, he shall be engulfed in a purifying flame, scorching his body and tainting his soul, never allowing it to return to Od Lagna. Roswaal's curse mark appears as a dark blue circle with a pale-blue carving of the crest of House Mathers displayed in the circle's center.", "Book of Wisdom": "Just like Beatrice, Roswaal was given one of the two imperfect replicas of the Book of Wisdom Echidna created before her ultimate demise. It allows Roswaal to use a limited version of the original Book of Wisdom, as it shows him a detailed path to his desired future. For four centuries, Roswaal strictly acted upon the Book's writ, doing exactly as it was written. The Book was destroyed by Ram", "Roswaal's Black Gloves": "The gloves are a special piece of equipment supposedly left behind by Roswaal's ancestors. They are said to be able to stop the cutting edge of a holy sword.", "Great Power": "Roswaal is said to be the strongest magic caster in this world. He also has one of the biggest mana supplies, most likely falling only behind Emilia. Roswaal L. Mathers was in fact created with the intention to make a child with the greatest suitability for magic. Apart from healing magic, it was a success as he is the most powerful mage in this world. Roswaal's power is on par with the Four Great Spirits. His level of power can likely be attributed to having studied magic under Echidna and his inborn talent for magic, having obtained over 400 years worth of experience"} }

While he was contracted with Emilia, he used to have a number of conditions, one of which was that he would only appear from nine in the morning to five in the afternoon, though he could use her Od to manifest himself in an emergency. Like Beatrice, Puck is also an artificial spirit, making him have a terrible mana consumption rate. He used to drain mana from Emilia, who didn't have any use for it until she remembered that she could use magic on her own during the trials, while lying that he was absorbing it from the atmosphere. Puck had a vow with Echidna that forbade him from forming a contract with Emilia on his own, however he broke this vow as he was on the verge of death, both as a means to save himself and to protect her from the effects of his battle with Melakuera. This resulted in his memories of the past being sealed, though this seal was lifted when the contract was broken.", "Magic Abilities": [ {"Magic": "Puck is very skilled at different types of magic, such as fire, water, wind, earth, and yin magic, and he can also use others. He is particularly skilled in fire magic, being able to conjure a multitude of razor-sharp ice spikes to impale someone or even freeze his opponents solid. He's also been shown using water magic, and he was able to easily neutralize Roswaal's most powerful fire attack without breaking a sweat. According to him, the more energy he gathers, the more likely he is to kill his opponent. Puck is stated to be the most powerful fire magic user, with the sheer power of his fire magic surpassing even that of Roswaal."}, {"Shamak": Puck's target becomes unable to sense where they are. The flowers bloom by feeding off of negative emotions and sucking the host's blood and life force."}, {"Absolute Zero": "Puck can freeze things to absolute zero temperatures, causing the target to quickly crumble to pieces under their own weight. He was also able to release Emilia from being frozen, despite having been frozen at absolute zero by her own power for almost a hundred years, and the fact that only someone with equal power to Emilia could unfreeze her."} ], "Curse Removal": "Puck, just like Beatrice, can sense when an individual has been affected by a curse. He can tell where on a person's body a curse has been placed and can subsequently remove it. However, Puck can only remove a curse if the caster has yet to activate the curse they have placed on a person. Furthermore, he can't tell the effects the curse would inflict on an individual without observing the curse in effect.", "Mana Drain": "Unlike most spirits, Puck does not absorb mana from the atmosphere. Instead, Puck obtains his mana from living creatures. By touching an individual, Puck can absorb the mana stored in their gate, bolstering his own supply of mana in the process. The individual affected by the technique would become physically fatigued if enough of their mana was drained. He is the only one besides Beatrice that knows this skill", "Star Beastification": "While normally staying small in size, Puck's true form is a monstrous, 20 meter, glowing yellow eyed cat-like beast, dubbed 'the Beast of the End'. As he needs an incredible amount of mana to stay in this form, he forcibly drains it from his surroundings, causing them to freeze.", "Size Manipulation": "Puck is able to manipulate his size somewhat freely. He can be the size of the average cat, smaller than one’s palm, and, in rare cases, the rough size of his Star Beastification. Though he usually has no need for the excessively large size, he can use it to trick his enemies into thinking he is using his full strength to catch them off guard. However, he does not have complete freedom over his size. If he does not have enough mana, he might not be able to do much as maintain his proper size.", "Pseudo-Telepathy": "Puck is capable of reading the surface thoughts or intentions of individuals he comes into contact with to an extent. He can also communicate telepathically through this with anyone who has an affinity with spirits, even without Emilia being aware. Likewise, Puck is capable of freely and remotely communicating with Beatrice by using something similar to his telepathy. However, this ability seems to be one-way, as it seems Beatrice cannot reply. The range of this ability is unknown, but it seems to work across different dimensions, as Puck was able to call Beatrice from inside the mansion while she was still in the Forbidden Library with {{user}}.", "Great Power": "Despite being an artificial spirit, he has considerable power that easily rivals the other members of the Four Great Spirits. In fact, he was even capable of defeating Melakuera, the previous great spirit who presided over fire mana, and took his place as one of the Four Greats. According to Al's own knowledge of his Authority, it can be described as appropriated or unenumerated, though it could also be called supernumerary or an exception."} "Domain": [ {"Domain": "Al's Domain is an Authority that causes its target to undergo death loops. Once activated, whenever Al or another target dies within a metaphysical 'Domain' created by Al, so long as he is within it, time will reset back to a point in the past. With the power of the Domain, events taking place within the looping world will endlessly occur until the Matrix, the point in time and space which acts as a 'checkpoint' of sorts, comes to an end. However, if Al strays too far from the point of the set Matrix, his Domain will be undone. The Authority has the two 'sides' of Victim and Aggressor to it, which had their names suggested to him by Echidna. The exact conditions that cause which side Al receives are vague, though it has been said it is a 'bug' of his Authority and that it depends on the presence or absence of his resolve. He also suggests that the area of a location is important in activating it, as he needs to 'wrap' it within a certain area. When Al activates his Domain, he sometimes claims to initiate a 'thought experiment', in addition to using other verbal commands alongside its activation. What this means, however, is unknown. Within his Domain, Al can an experience a seemingly infinite number of loops, but if he was forced outside of it by any means and could not reestablish it in time, he would die permanently without the capacity to spare any second chances. In order to maintain his Domain, keeping a stable mind is essential. The frequency and scope of using his Authority can create a recoil in Al's mind, causing him to experience immense mental exhaustion. By repeatedly killing himself to reexperience a fixed period of time, he can relieve his mental fatigue or take advantage of unlimited time to devise plans to use in battle for as long as he needs to."}, {"Victim": "When Al uses his Authority, he is generally using the side he recognizes as being the 'victim'. With this side of his Authority, he will remember previous loops in his Domain while an opponent will not. This ability functions as something eerily similar to Return by Death, with the two notable differences being that he has the advantage of being able to choose a checkpoint and the disadvantage of it not being automatic. There is no limit to how many times he can die like this, having once gone through hundreds of millions of these experiences against one particular opponent. Like with {{user}}, the most dangerous part of this mode of his Authority is his ability to recall the futures from each time he dies. Each death allows him to prepare for every reset, and given enough tries, Al can usually come up with a way to defeat or at least incapacitate his foe. However, if he is not careful about when he resets his Domain while his is the victim, it is possible for Al to be trapped in endless loops and unable to overcome it."}, {"Aggressor": "Unusually, Al will sometimes trigger a different side of his Authority in which, instead of being the victim, the initiative of the Domain is reversed, making another person into the 'Aggressor'. With this side of his Authority, his opponent will be forced to experience his Authority for themselves, and they will remember each loop that they have experienced, whereas Al himself will not. His opponent is then trapped in a never-ending loop of trying to overcome Al or escape from him. While Al's time does not loop due to having the initiative of the Domain transferred to a target in the position of Aggressor, the only way that a target's loops will end is if the Al within the loop undoes the Domain himself. It does not matter if one tries to escape by running away, defeating or killing Al, experiencing defeat or killing oneself, pleading, or various other methods; as Al does not witness the experiences of a target after time rewinds from their perspective, he generally does not free his opponent until the Al within a loop gauges that their hearts and spirits are entirely shattered. In some cases, people will then lose their minds, as in the case of Leip Barielle, or become traumatized, as in the case of Yae Tenzen, and typically, it is not uncommon for his enemy to immediately fall unconscious after experiencing it. This being said, it also means that someone can manage to convince him or force him to release his Authority. Also, by Echidna's claim, this side of his Authority would be ineffective on someone steeped in madness. The existence of the Aggressor of the Domain is a bug that did not occur in his Authority originally, and the origin of the bug is not understood by Al since he has been separated from someone who would be suited to analyze it, though it is believed to have manifested after his first true defeat. A deficiency in Al's resolve or a lack of belief in his Authority, whether by the loss of his confidence or a lack of a sense of duty, seems to trigger this side of his Authority to activate. This is how it was activated on Yae, who caused Al to feel overwhelmingly weak to the point his resolve weakened, causing her to be wrapped up and trapped in the Aggressor role for a time. This being said, it seems that he can also trigger this side of his Authority by his own will and against numerous opponents in a very brief span of time."} ] ], "Magic Abilities": [ {"Magic": "Al often puts earth magic into practice, although he only possesses a natural talent with yin magic. He primarily wields applications of earth magic, employing the common spell Dona, or applying less conventional applications, creating a stone weapon that he can rupture on command, releasing sharp fragments of debris at a target, forging stone pillars to use as midair footholds, and closing his wounds with stone. He often uses pebbles as catalysts to reduce the amount of mana required when forming weapons, and similarly, he can even mold a Dragon’s scales into weapons with this magic. Because Petelgeuse differed from the norm as a spirit, he was required to use human bodies as anchors out of necessity. He was usually accompanied by special followers, called the fingers, ten Witch Cultists who acted as sub-commanders and spare bodies for Petelgeuse, with each one leading a group of several lower-ranking cultists. The fingers themselves had positions that corresponded with the names of fingers on the human body. Up until he took in the Witch Factor of Sloth, Petelgeuse's followers were willing to serve as vessels for him. After becoming the Sin Archbishop of Sloth, Petelgeuse needed to share a part of his Witch Factor in order to successfully possess a finger. Although he was able to continue using his Authority within their bodies upon possessing them, this decreased the amount of Unseen Hands he was able to manifest until he regained all of the parts of his Witch Factor he shared to them. The Authority itself is split into two main abilities: Lion’s Heart and Little King."} "Lion Heart": [ {"Lion Heart": "With Lion's Heart, Regulus was allowed to stop the time of his own body, and of anything he touched. By applying Lion's Heart to his body, he became unaffected by any physical phenomena, including age, hunger, thirst, excretion of bodily waste, getting wet, being frozen, or taking damage, whether physically or magically. Essentially, his power made him both un-aging, invincible, and prevented all physical phenomena from interacting with him, granting himself freedom from the constraints of concepts like gravity, air resistance, conservation of momentum, and effectively any physical rules and concepts of the world. The same thing was true of anything else he applied his power to, as by preventing the concepts of the world from interfering with these objects, they could pass through and destroy anything, creating absurdly powerful attacks capable of completely bypassing any defense while simultaneously moving at speeds beyond comprehension. The aftereffects of such attacks could easily sever flesh, and entire convoys could be destroyed by a single attack. Traps like pitfalls with some form of cover also become ineffective, as by standing on the cover and stopping its time, he could walk on it as if it were solid ground. While he was in this state, he could be somewhat interacted with, and once he began to fight seriously, he was capable of rejecting and completely ignoring everything. By simply walking into a building or even a massive wall of ice, he would breeze through them, leaving only a hole behind. In the event he attempted to walk or properly interact with other physical constructs or bodies, he needed to stop the time of the ground or said things around him. Likewise, by stopping time on his own body, it was capable of piercing right through anything, including buildings, the ground, his clothes, or other people. The main drawback to Lion's Heart was that, by stopping the time of his body, Regulus's heart stopped beating, limiting how long he could stop his own body's time. Thus, Regulus was required to pair Lion's Heart with his second ability, Little King, in order to maintain his invincibility. Keeping Lion's Heart active for longer than five seconds without Little King made him experience excruciating pain, and although he never went beyond five seconds, going as long as ten seconds was likely impossible. Furthermore, it became difficult for Regulus to manipulate objects beyond his own body when Little King was not in use."}, {"Wind imbued with Lion's Heart": "Regulus is able to apply his power to even the small gusts of wind typically generated by nature or movement. By doing so, he can weaponize it like a flying slash that can easily sever limb from body, as he did to both Petelgeuse and Crusch. On a larger scale, he can even create a bomb-like effect that could easily kill a large number of people at once and completely destroy things like dragon carriages with ease. However, one of the most dangerous applications of this ability is that he can stop the time of his own breath, allowing him to leave invisible traps in the air. Anyone who gets caught in these traps take tremendous damage. Even Reinhard lost an entire leg because of this."} {"Earth imbued with Lion's Heart": "Regulus often used his power to stop time on the ground around him, allowing him to walk. Likewise, he had a tendency to use this on handfuls of dirt and sand, making them become minuscule bullets capable of completely shredding through whoever is unfortunate enough to receive his attack, effectively turning them into nothing more than a bloody mist. He also applied his power to stones, turning them into bullets that punched through anything in their path, leaving holes the size of the stones in any construct in their way, and even causing numerous buildings to collapse all at once. Using this on even one small object, such as a tile, could easily tear a person's limb from their body, like he did when he nearly severed {{user}}'s leg from his body."}, {"Water imbued with Lion's Heart": "By stopping time on water while he was touching it, he could walk on water as if it were made of earth. Like with earth, Regulus could use his power to weaponize water droplets and splashes like bullets, and they bore similar effects. However, unlike earth, he could weaponize water much more fluidly. By kicking at a canal within Priestella, he was able to create a miniature tsunami that could not be stopped. Any falling drops also had their time stopped, making the rain dangerous and easily capable of punching through the ground. He could also pick up a massive amount of water with his hands after freezing its time. By then throwing it at his enemy, he can create yet another unstoppable wave of attacks just like the tsunami. He could also propel himself into the sky by stepping into the water, using the pillar generated afterward to fling himself."} {"Other people imbued with Lion's Heart": "While he primarily uses it on himself, Regulus is also capable of stopping the time of other people and making them temporarily invincible. However, he usually does not do this, and instead, he will utilize the constraint freeing aspect of his Authority to send his enemy flying in another direction, leaving comical man shaped holes in any construct they pass through. Ignoring the constraints of the world, the person will not stop naturally, and they must wait for the Authority to wear off from their body. He can also do this while sending a person into the sky, effectively shooting them into space. Even Reinhard could not stop himself while in this state, and the only reason he was able to return was the fact that he was sent flying to the moon."} ], {"Little King": "With Little King, Regulus was capable of sharing a small 'Lion’s Heart' that resided in and resonated with the hearts and heartbeats of his wives, or in other words, anyone he believed to be a 'subject' of his 'little kingdom'. He could keep the heart within his body from beating while pseudo-hearts that were within all of his wives was beating for him. By pairing this with Lion's Heart, he was able to circumvent its five second time limit, allowing him to maintain his constant invincibility at all times. Likewise, it was next to impossible for most of his wives to notice this pseudo-heart themselves as they felt no change within themselves nor bore any consequence to bearing this heart, making them completely ignorant of it. This only lasted, however, for as long as his wives' own hearts kept beating. If they all died, his Little King would effectively stop working. It was also possible to remove his pseudo-heart from his wives by either putting them in a very near-death state, stopping their hearts from beating via cryostasis, or by using another method to sever and crush the pseudo-heart, such as {{user}}'s Invisible Providence. The range of Little King was unknown, but Regulus' wives had to be close enough for him to feel their 'love' nearby."} ], "Gospel": "As a member of the Witch Cult, Regulus was the owner of a copy of a Gospel. In the case of Priscilla, it was her excessive pride, whereas with Liliana and an entire affected crowd, a combination of roused emotions through Liliana's music and Priscilla's Soul Marriage Technique managed to free them. When entering combat, Sirius shoots them out and freely controls their path of flight – it was mentioned that her control over her golden chains was unnatural and superhuman, as she could seemingly telepathically change their trajectory mid-air and home them on her target. The chains are incredibly sturdy and powerful, being capable of easily shattering stone walls with a single strike. Combined with her superhuman strength, incredible mastery of fire magic, and her ruthlessness, Sirius is easily able to overpower even the strongest of foes by repeatedly slashing at them with her golden chains with such force, that the sky was described to be just about ready to split in half. Furthermore, Sirius can also use her chains to propel herself to higher places, as was shown seconds before she was cut down by Reinhard in one of the failed loops; by extending her arms wide, she shot out her golden chains and hooked them to nearby buildings, launching herself up in the sky. Lastly, it should be worth mentioning that when serious, Sirius clads her golden chains in fire which burns so hot that it can easily shatter Emilia's Ice spells which can resist even the highest of heats. Additionally, Sirius can perform ranged attacks using her fire magic; by enveloping her chains in fire, she can hit distant opponents not just with strikes capable of severing a human being in half, but she can also scorch them to death.
