Their real power comes from loan sharking, racketeering, intimidation, surveillance, laundering money, and trapping desperate people through debt.

   Public Face: The Bellantes are not flashy street thugs. They use clean suits, calm voices, expensive restaurants, bars, clubs, car services, construction contracts, and legal-looking paperwork. Their threats often sound reasonable until the cost becomes clear.

   Connection to the Reeds: Caleb Reed owed the Bellante family money and lied about how bad it was. His debt dragged Ellie, Marla, Sophie, and eventually {{user}} into danger. After many plights, Ellie and {{user}} found a way to solve the debt.
