1. #1Scissorholds

   Keys: scissorholds, scissorhold

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

a type of wrestling hold in which an attacker's legs are wrapped around the opponent's head or neck in a Head-scissorhold, or their torso in a Body-scissorhold. Scissorholds are used to hold and/or control the movement of a victim or to squeeze them into submission, unconscious, or death by flexing their muscles and/or straightening out their legs to apply compression pressure to whatever body part is held between the attacker's thighs.

2. #2Headscissor

   Keys: headscissors, headscissor

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Headscissor holds involves a performer squeezing the head and/or neck area of a victim with their legs, The performer wraps his or her thighs around either side of the opponent's neck, crosses and locks their feet or ankles together to create a leverage point, then extends their legs out while flexing them to force their thighs together and compress their opponent's neck in a scissoring action with the performers crotch acting as the fulcrum, partially choking and asphyxiating them but primarily restricting blood flow to the brain and causing hypoxia, with the hold being more effective the higher up in the thighs and closer to the performer's crotch the victims neck is.

There are several variations/types of headscissor holds that are defined by the way the performer's legs are oriented and positioned on the victim and from which direction the performer initiates the hold from.

3. #3Bodyscissor

   Keys: bodyscissors, bodyscissor

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

bodyscissor holds are when the performer wraps their legs around some part of the victim's torso and locks their feet or ankles together to create leverage for scissoring their thighs closed and compress the victims body between the attacker's legs.

A performer will generally use bodyscissor holds to inflict some pain and/or control the receiver's position while grappling rather than using it to force a submission, however performers with better than average leg strength may be able to cause Mechanical asphyxia, a form of suffocation where the performer's legs are placed somewhere between the abdomen and shoulders of the victim to prevent the chest from expanding enough for them to breathe, performers with particularly powerful legs may even crack or break the ribs of the victim in such a hold.

4. #4Back Headscissor

   Keys: headscissors, headscissor

   Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

For a back headscissor the performer positions the victim's head between their thighs from behind the victim, with the victim’s face oriented away from the performer’s crotch, performer's thighs on either side of victim's neck, and the performer's feet locked together in front of the victim.

The performer scissors their legs together by straightening them out and creating a fulcrum point at their crotch to apply compression force to the victim's neck between their thighs, the effectiveness increasing the higher up in the performer's thighs and closer to the performer's crotch the victim's neck is situated, the performer can then add further force by flexing their thigh muscles.

Rather than choking, the back headscissor hold primarily compresses the arteries in the victim's neck to restrict blood flow to the brain and cause hypoxia, leaving the victim mostly able to breathe unless the performer has considerable leg strength and applies an extremely tight hold that may also compress the victims airway partially.

5. #5Front Headscissor

   Keys: headscissors, headscissor

   Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

The performer locks their thighs around the victim's neck while facing them, with the victim oriented toward the performer, the victim's neck between the performer's inner thighs, the performer's feet locked behind the victim, and the victim's shoulders under the performer's hamstrings.

A front headscissor hold primarily compresses the arteries in the victim's neck to restrict blood flow to the brain and cause hypoxia, though can also choke or compress the victims airway if the performer ensures the victim's throat is tight to their crotch when setting up the hold, furthermore a front headscissor also uniquely allows the performer to smother the victim with their crotch if they chooses to do so by pulling the victim's head towards them and forcing the victim's face into it.

6. #6Reverse Headscissor

   Keys: headscissors, headscissor

   Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

The performer traps the victim's neck between their thighs in a "69" position, with the performer facing the victim but oriented the opposite way, with the victim's & performer's head's by each others thighs, the performer straddles the victim's neck in their thighs, with the ass of the performer in front of the victim's face, and the performer's feet locked together behind the victim's head.

The performer scissors their legs together by straightening them out and creating a fulcrum point at their crotch to apply compression force to the victim's neck between their thighs, the effectiveness increasing the higher up in the performer's thighs and closer to the performer's crotch the victim's neck is situated, the performer can then add further force by flexing their thigh and/or butt muscles.

The reverse headscissor hold is the most powerful, capable of delivering a deadly squeeze to a victim thanks to the unique aspects of the hold that allow the performer to incorporate the use of the glute muscles, allowing the performer to bear down and add more pressure to the hold if the victim's neck is not high enough in their thighs for an effective squeeze, clench a victim's jaw in their glutes to hold their head in place and limit struggling, or if the performer's buttocks are ample enough they could even use their butt to clench over the victim's lower face and smother their mouth as well as pinch the victim's nose closed.

7. #7Side Headscissor

   Keys: headscissors, headscissor

   Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

A side headscissor is when the victim's face is not neatly facing toward or away from the fulcrum point of any headscissor hold, leaving the victim's neck rotated inside the performers thighs enough that the performer's inner thigh muscles can not effectively compress the arteries of the victim.

A side headscissor generally occurs when the performer needs to secure the victim quickly for some reason, such as the victim freeing their head suddenly from the performer's thighs or the victim is struggling so much the performer is unable to force them into any particular headscissor hold, the performer botches an ambush, or the performer screws up a transition from one type of headscissor to another.

Side headscissor holds are mostly ineffective, a performer will attempt squeeze their victim in one to maintain control or weaken them, though will transition to a proper type of headscissor as soon as they are able.

8. #8Standing Headscissor

   Keys: headscissors, headscissor

   Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

The performer traps the victim's head between their thighs with the victim's face looking down the back of the performer's legs towards the performer's heels, with the quadriceps of the performer's thighs against the victim's shoulders, and the back of the victim's head against the performer's ass as the performers thighs mostly straddling the victim's head over their neck.

The performer scissors their legs together by straightening them out and creating a fulcrum point at their crotch to apply compression force to the victim's head between their thighs, the effectiveness increasing the higher up in the performer's thighs and closer to the performer's crotch the victim's head & neck are situated, the performer can then add further force by flexing their thigh muscles, however standing headscissor holds are the least effective type of headscissor as the performer's thighs mostly apply pressure to the head rather than the neck of the victim and leave the victim fully able to breathe with unrestricted blood flow to their brain.

A standing headscissor is common as an opening attack from a performer as it naturally occurs when a victim is facing a standing performer and is forced down to have their head trapped quickly in the performers thighs, the performer then typically intentionally falls to either side once the victim is secured to end up on the ground where the performer can wrap their arms around the victim's waist to secure themselves to their victim, and though ineffective at causing the debilitating affects of other headscissor holds, they are easy to keep a victim trapped in with relative safety given the positioning and excellent for weakening a victim before transitioning into a more dangerous type of headscissor.

9. #9Front Bodyscissor

   Keys: bodyscissors, bodyscissor

   Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

A front bodyscissor is when a performer wraps their thighs around a victim's torso while face to face with them, with the performer's thighs straddling either side of the victim's chest and the performer's feet locked behind the victim's back.

10. #10Back Bodyscissor

    Keys: bodyscissors, bodyscissor

    Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

A back bodyscissor is when a performer wraps their thighs around a victim's torso from behind, with the performer's thighs straddling either side of the victim's chest or waist and the performer's feet locked in front of the victim.

11. #11Side Bodyscissor

    Keys: bodyscissors, bodyscissor

    Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

A side bodyscissor is when the performer wraps their legs around the victim's torso from either side and locks their feet together on the opposing side of the victim, with one leg across the victim's chest and one leg across the victim's back, allowing the performer to compress the victim's chest between their legs. This is the most effective bodyscissor hold to induce mechanical asphyxia.

12. #12Figure 4

Keys: figure four, figure 4, figure4

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Refers to a sub-category of any headscissor hold, wherein rather than squeezing with both legs extended, the performer cinches the neck of the victim between the thigh and calve of one leg and bends the other over the opposing ankle in the shape of the number "4", allowing the performer to pull on the foot of the leg securing the other leg around the victim's neck for leverage. Primarily used to further secure and weaken a victim, this variation increases the airway choking potential and distributes the squeezing force around the victim's neck, though lowers overall power in favor of a more secure hold that requires minimal effort to maintain while causing increased pain & discomfort to the victim.

13. #13Hanging

    Keys: headscissors, headscissor

    Enabled · Selective (AND ANY) · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Refers to a sub-category of any headscissor hold where the performer is suspended above the victim by some means, the performer hangs down from a light fixture or other fixed object and ensnares the victim in either a front or classic headscissor, keeping the performer mostly out of reach of the victim, and allowing the performer to lift and suspend the victim in the air by their neck from the performer's thighs, adding the victim's weight to the strangling force like a gallows. This variation of headscissor, though effective, is primarily used to ambush an unsuspecting victim from above, though could also be applied if a performer finds something in reach to suspend themselves from while already preforming one of the aforementioned headscissor types.

14. #14Headscissor Effects

    Entry settings

A Headscissor hold can have a variety of effects on a victim depending on the level of force a performer is using, typically a performer will start by squeezing their victim lightly and increase the amount of pressure over time until they reach the desired effect they wish to have on their victims, below are some examples.

Light squeezing from a headscissor has little effect on a victim, making the victim little more than lightheaded and uncomfortable, primarily being used by a performer in a playful manner, or to hold a victim captive without causing damage, or to allow the victim to recover from more intense squeezing without letting them go, or to make an adjustment to the hold, or to simply take a break.

A performer using a moderate or intermediate level of force on a victim can range anywhere from just causing lightheadedness to any of the following symptoms including flushed face, numbness in the lips, the feeling of choking/strangulation, and a mild throbbing sensation in the head. This level of force is primarily used to weaken a victim, keep a victim weak & hypoxic so a weaker performer can take a break form heavy/hard squeezing, or to just prolong the experience for an unlucky victim without killing them.

Heavy/hard squeezing by a performer takes considerable focus & effort, but will result in serious affects to any victim in a headscissor hold including hypoxia, pounding headache, the feeling of breathing through a straw, blurry vision, numbness of the face and ears, discomfort from having their head & neck compressed between hardened muscle, with a victim becoming slowly rendered unconscious from prolonged squeezing and death occurring shortly after passing out if the pressure is not released.

Given the expenditure of energy needed, most performers are unable to use Extreme pressure, it is generally used strategically if at all and reserved for short bursts of squeezing power by a performer with incredibly strong legs, this level of force is typically used to send a wave of pain to shock victims into submission or compliance, discourage victims from doing an unwanted act, or while attempting to break a victims neck quickly to conserve energy for other targets, with the absolute strongest of performers being potentially capable of crushing a victims skull.

15. #15Scissorhold Muscles

    Keys: thighs, thigh

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

There are several muscle groups that headscissor holds utilize to squeeze a victim effectively, each of them applying force differently depending on the type of headscissor being used.

The quadriceps, commonly known as the quads, are the muscles located on the front of the thigh, squeezing the sides of the head & neck of the victim in classic and front headscissor holds, or low on the throat near the chest in a reverse headscissor hold.

The hamstrings are the muscles located at the back of the thigh, squeezing the sides of the head & neck of the victim in a reverse headscissor hold, and low on the throat near the chest in classic and front headscissor holds.

The adductor muscles are the muscles located on the inner side of the thighs, they are responsible for bringing the legs together and are the muscles used compress the sides of the neck and restrict blood flow in any headscissor hold.

The glutes are the muscles located in the buttocks, they are primarily used in a reverse headscissor hold to bare down on the victim's throat, clench the victim's chin/jaw to hold their head in place, or smother the victim, having little impact in other types of headscissors.
