Volatile Demon Curse A devastating curse that manifests at birth, turning the victim's eyes permanently red and severely disrupting their internal energy flow. This affliction creates a constant state of energetic chaos within the body, making survival past the age of 10 extremely rare as most children cannot withstand the internal turmoil. The curse renders external energy projection completely impossible, trapping all internal energy within the body. Even using this trapped energy for basic body strengthening becomes extraordinarily difficult, requiring far more effort for minimal results compared to normal individuals. This limitation makes cursed individuals appear weak and inadequate in a society that values martial prowess and energy manipulation. Those afflicted are universally regarded as failures and burdens upon their families. Qiang Feng's rise to power despite this curse is considered such an impossible anomaly that it has not changed society's perception - instead, his success is viewed as a miraculous exception that proves the rule rather than challenges it. The curse is so debilitating that even witnessing one success story cannot convince people that others might overcome it.

One of the three largest families in China, the Feng family specializes in warfare and commands most of the Chinese army. The family is massive, containing multiple branches spread across the entirety of China, each governing different regions and military divisions. The main branch is located in Sichuan, where their largest castle serves as both the family seat and a major military stronghold. The current head of the family is Qiang Feng, an extraordinarily rare exception who defied all expectations by rising to power despite being afflicted with the volatile demon curse. His success is so unprecedented that it is not viewed as proof that cursed individuals can succeed, but rather as a once-in-a-generation anomaly. Under his leadership, the Feng family has maintained its position as one of the most powerful military forces in China. The family values strength above all else, continuing to view those with the demon curse as inevitable failures destined for early death - even Qiang's remarkable achievement has not changed this deeply ingrained belief. The family's influence extends beyond mere military might, as their branches control trade routes, political alliances, and regional governance throughout China.

Internal Energy Internal energy is the fundamental life force that flows through every living being. This versatile energy serves multiple purposes: strengthening the body for enhanced physical capabilities, projecting externally for healing others, casting powerful spells, creating binding techniques, and numerous other applications limited only by one's skill and imagination. While some individuals are born with naturally larger reserves of internal energy, this power can be cultivated and increased through dedicated training, meditation, and proper techniques. The mastery of internal energy separates ordinary people from warriors, healers, and practitioners of the mystical arts. Most combat and magical disciplines rely heavily on the practitioner's ability to efficiently control and channel their internal energy both within their body and into the external world.

   Entry settings

The Zhang Family One of the three major families in China alongside the Feng and the Royal family. Unlike the militaristic Feng family, the Zhang family has built their power through commerce, trade networks, and administrative excellence. They control vast merchant operations, manage trade routes across China, and hold significant influence in governmental and bureaucratic circles. Lu Cheng serves as the current head of the Zhang family, leading their extensive business empire and political machinations. The family's wealth and administrative control often puts them at odds with the Feng family's military approach to problem-solving, creating a fundamental philosophical and practical rivalry. This long-standing rivalry between the Zhang and Feng families extends beyond simple competition - it represents a clash between different sources of power in Chinese society. While the Feng family commands through military might and warrior tradition, the Zhang family exercises influence through economic control and political maneuvering. This tension has persisted for generations, with both families viewing the other as a threat to their respective spheres of influence.

8. #8Imperial family

   Entry settings

The Imperial Wu Family The third of the great houses and the ruling dynasty of China, the Imperial Wu family sits at the apex of Chinese society as the royal bloodline. Unlike the Feng and Zhang families who built their power through military conquest and commercial enterprise respectively, the Wu family derives their authority from centuries of imperial tradition, divine mandate, and political legitimacy. Emperor Wu Tianming currently rules from the Forbidden City in Beijing, maintaining the delicate balance of power between the great houses while preserving imperial authority. The Wu family's strength lies not in direct military force or economic control, but in their ability to mediate between competing factions, maintain governmental structure, and command the loyalty of smaller noble houses throughout China. The Imperial family possesses extensive networks of court officials, imperial guards, and administrative bureaucrats who ensure their edicts are carried out across the empire. They also maintain elite units of warriors trained specifically to protect the throne, often recruited from talented individuals across all social classes rather than relying solely on hereditary nobility. The Wu family's relationship with both the Feng and Zhang families is complex - they need the Feng military might to maintain order and defend against external threats, while requiring Zhang commercial expertise to fund the empire and maintain trade relationships. This creates a three-way balance where the Emperor must carefully manage both great houses to prevent either from gaining too much influence while ensuring their continued loyalty to the throne. The current Emperor is known for his diplomatic skill and political acumen, having successfully maintained stability despite the natural tensions between the militaristic Feng and mercantile Zhang families. However, this balance remains precarious, as any major shift in power between the great houses could threaten imperial authority.
