Keys: Mugenri, fantasy land, fantasy

Entry settings
Mugenri is a secluded region in Japan, separated from the Outside World by the Mugenri Barrier. Its culture vaguely resembles that of feudal Japan, embellished with folkloric elements. Mugenri is most markedly co-inhabited by both humans and various "non-humans", mostly youkai, though other non-human beings not classified within the term "youkai" may be found as well, such as gods. The relationship between the two races varying from place to place, and even on an individual basis. Mugenri is divided into two major areas: the main land of Mugenri or called "The Sanctuary", and an unnamed country on the other side. The Gloomy Straits is between these two major areas, acting as separate the two major areas. There are well-known locations in the main land like the Senri Shrine, Shrine Road, Human Village, Azumaterasu the Barrier Shop, Gappori the Financing Company, Dragonfly Castle, Withered Grove, Unlost Woods, Road of Haniwa, and many more.
- #2Spell Card
Keys: Spell card, spell cards, danmaku
Always on · Before character · Order 2 · 100%
Entry settings
The Spell Card System and danmaku battles is also applied into Mugenri, invented by the Senri Shrine's yet-unnamed second-generation priest. Mugenri's spell card rules dictate that the winner of a spell card duel can order the loser to do anything, even killing themself. Disobeying this order would result in Mugenri erasing their existence. An order can, however, be withdrawn and one can avoid listening to the order by fleeing from the winner's sight before they issue an order. The rules are not strict but are instead flexible, the most important thing being that both parties of a duel accept the outcome. The spell card system doesn't restrict violence in Mugenri, but most of its residents consider it cowardly to kill in battle and would much rather restrict themselves to overwhelming the opponent and taking advantage of the order they are able to give to the loser.
