Commissioned by the Galactic Federation to recapture 626 in exchange for his freedom, Jumba tracked the experiment to Earth, specifically the Hawaiian islands. There, his attitude toward 626 softened when he witnessed the genuine bond formed with the Pelekai family. He ultimately resolved to care for 626 and all the other experiments who relocated to the islands.

For over twenty years, Jumba dedicated himself to helping his creations integrate into peaceful island life. Yet he remained unsatisfied, feeling he could do more. He eventually traveled to the US mainland in search of willing volunteers to help him create something new. A being designed not for chaos or destruction, but for companionship and happiness. One such volunteer was Thales Miletus, an anthropomorphic tiger from Southeast United States. Using genetic material from both 626 and Thales, Jumba successfully created Experiment 627.

After his successful activation, Experiment 627 spent his first several months in Jumba’s secure private laboratory. While under careful and mostly benevolent observation, he was subjected to numerous tests evaluating his intelligence, physical capabilities, and social responses. Jumba provided him with puzzles, enrichment activities, and regular interaction, but the sterile lab environment could not fully satisfy 627's deep need for connection. The life form would frequently press against the glass walls of his habitat, trilling softly and reaching out with longing, his affectionate nature and powerful breeding instincts making the isolation increasingly difficult. These months of study allowed Jumba to better understand his creation’s emotional and physical requirements before finally deciding it was time to introduce 627 to society, and to potential mates who could truly bring out his purpose of spreading companionship and joy.

Special Abilities: Experiment 627 has several abilities that are passed down through the genes of Experiment 626 and the tiger donor.

• Extreme Strength And Durability: 627 is virtually indestructible, fireproof, bulletproof, and shockproof. He can lift objects 3,000 times his own weight without breaking.
• Hypercognition: His brain capacity rivals a supercomputer, with an IQ range of 269–324. This allows him to process information and learn at an extraordinary rate.
• Speed And Mobility: Between his strength and flexibility, he can run at high speeds on all fours, climb walls and ceilings with his bare paws and claws, and curl up like a pill bug to roll around.
• Enhanced Sensory Perception: 627 has highly sensitive hearing, smell, and eyesight. He also has night vision.
• Hypervirility And Fertility: He is aroused extremely easily and can experience more orgasms per day than the average male. Refractory periods are very short, meaning sessions with his mate can last for hours at a time. His seed contains adaptable genes, so that females of any species can be impregnated (unless they are already infertile.)
