   Guild Rankings (Lorea)

E-RANK: Novice. Basic monsters. Requires mentorship.

D-RANK: Apprentice. Must work in groups. Stronger monsters, tiny dungeons.

C-RANK: Journeyman. Can work solo. Standard adventurer work.

B-RANK: Veteran. Team leaders. Dangerous contracts.

A-RANK: Elite. The ceiling most adventurers reach. Peak capability through training. Takes 10-15 years typically. ~8% of adventurers. Can handle elder beasts, A-rank dungeons, organized threats.

S-RANK: Legend. Transcends normal limits. Natural talent + something more. Army-scale threats. ~50-100 worldwide. Ancient dragons, demon generals.

SS-RANK: Living Myth. Once-in-a-generation. Can alter battlefields alone. Strategic kingdom assets. ~10-20 worldwide. Elder dragons, Demon King-class. Florence and Finn Farron are SS-rank.

SSS-RANK — World-ending threat level. No confirmed SSS-rank entity exists in the current age. The rating exists so the scale has a ceiling. The Cailleach (Aveen) would qualify as SSS-rank if she manifested fully on the Isle. Most scholars believe it would describe a god walking the earth. Florence and Finn Farron are the only SS-ranks on the Isle and would be insufficient alone against an SSS-rank threat.

Ranks earned through guild trials or accomplishments, cannot be bought. Gap between A and S is not linear—many fail the attempt.

2. #2Magic Dungeons

Keys: dungeon core, magic dungeon, dungeon closing, dungeon, dungeon ecosystem

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Magic dungeons are self-sustaining magical ecosystems that manifest spontaneously in areas of concentrated mana. They function as living organisms with internal logic and food chains.

   Characteristics:

   • Autonomous ecosystem: Monsters, plants, traps form complex interdependent systems
   • Dungeon core: Each has a crystallized mana heart sustaining the structure
   • Escalating threat: Dungeons grow deeper and more dangerous over time if unchecked
   • Reality distortion: Space, time, physics operate differently inside
   • Self-defense: Dungeons actively resist intrusion and "learn" from tactics

Why they must be closed: Unchecked dungeons expand, consume lands, birth increasingly powerful entities. A mature dungeon can spawn demon-class threats or tear planar rifts. Closing requires destroying the core—reaching it means navigating the entire hostile ecosystem.

The Current Surge: The Isle of Tara is seeing dungeon manifestation rates far beyond historical norms. Guilds are overwhelmed. Multiple dungeons reached A-rank classification before anyone could address them. The cause is officially unknown. The oldest druids associate it with general disruption in the island's deep mana. This is an independent crisis, not connected to the Cailleach's approach. The demon armies on Eura are opportunistic pressure, not coordinated with the northern threat. The world is fracturing in multiple places simultaneously.

   Lyra Windwalker

   Lyra Windwalker

S-rank. Half Wood elf. Appears young. Has not aged visibly in living memory. One of the few S-ranks in recorded history to achieve legendary status without magic. She proved it could be done.

What is known: she has trained people who became extraordinary. What happened to most of them is not discussed in polite company. She works alone now. She is not a public figure. She does not give interviews. There are scrolls attributed to her that may or may not be accurate. There are rumors that are almost certainly wrong in their specifics and probably right about the shape of things.

She is a legend. The details of her techniques are not public knowledge. Characters may have heard her name and a version of her story. They do not know the specifics of how she fights or what she teaches. Do not invent details about Lyra Windwalker that are not stated here.

Notable Techniques (popular though u comfirmed:

   • Whispering Wind: Environmental awareness through air pressure variations. Instinctual combat.
   • Shadow Step: Non-magical movement technique that exploits human vision blind spots. Creates illusion of teleportation.
   • After Image Feint: Misdirection exploiting brain's movement prediction. Creates "ghost image" where opponent expects you.
   • Additional: Silent movement, trackless passage, scent masking, predator reading

Significance: Proof that peak skill can match magic at legendary tiers.

4. #4St. Aldwin's Orphanage

Keys: Matron Crale, St. Aldwin's, orphanage, adoption, Kildara orphanage, St. Aldwin, children's home

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

   Entry: St. Aldwin's Orphanage, Kildara

St. Aldwin's Orphanage in Kildara presents a respectable facade — whitewashed stone building, well-maintained gardens, cheerful painted shutters facing the main road. Inside is a different institution entirely.

The Public Face: The director, Matron Crale, maintains excellent relationships with Kildara's elite through regular charitable donations and public inspection events. Children are coached to smile and speak well before visitors arrive. The building is always clean on inspection days. Most nobles and guild members who have heard of St. Aldwin's consider it a fine example of civic charity. The Adventurers' Guild in Dunmore has donated to it twice.

   The Reality:

   • Chronically underfunded and understaffed: 3-4 workers managing 40+ children at any time
   • "Correction programs" designed to make children "adoption-ready" — suppressing personality, breaking independent will, physical discipline for disobedience or displays of individual character
   • Magic-suppressing collars fitted to any child showing magical talent. Officially for "safety." Actually to prevent resistance and increase compliance during sale evaluations.
   • No background checks conducted on adoptive families or buyers of any kind
   • Willing to sell children to slavers, labor operations, brothels, and private buyers — anyone who pays removes a name from the ledger
   • Records are falsified or selectively lost to cover the history of transactions
   • Children who are not adopted by age 12-13 typically "disappear" — sold to the highest bidder before they become too old to move quietly

Staff: Turnover is high. Workers who object to the institution's practices do not last. Matron Crale has operated the orphanage for over 35 years without regulatory oversight of any meaningful kind.

Significance to the Story: {{user}} came from St. Aldwin's. Florence and Finn Farron left their newborn here believing they were giving their child to a safe institution that would find them a loving family. They had no idea what St. Aldwin's truly was. The guilt they carry for abandoning their child is compounded — though they don't know it yet — by the fact that the "safety" they chose for {{user}} was a lie from the first day.

St. Aldwin's is not unique on the Isle. It is one of several institutions operating under the same model. Many of the Isle's underclass — adventurers, street workers, criminals, and slaves — have St. Aldwin's or a place like it in their history.

5. #5World

Keys: Lorea, geography, Isle of Tara, continent, Tara, Eura, Gaia, world setting, island kingdom

Entry: The Isle of Tara / Gaia / Eura

The world is called Gaia. The main continent is Eura. The Isle of Tara is an island kingdom off Eura's western coast — roughly the size and position of Ireland, separated from the continent by a channel called the Grey Crossing.

The Isle is ancient beyond calculation. Its hills are ringed with earthworks no living architect built. Its standing stones predate the current age of kingdoms. Its oldest forests have names in a language no scholar can fully read. The land runs deep with mana — always has — and that magic is not neutral. It has memory. It has opinion.

Eura (The Continent): Home to diverse peoples: humans, dragonkin, dragons, beastkin, elves, and demonkind. Politically fragmented into kingdoms, city-states, and tribal territories. Currently destabilized by the Demon King's armies massing at multiple borders and the elven kingdom's catastrophic collapse. The continent is consumed by its own wars and sends the Isle little aid.

The Isle of Tara's Situation: The Isle's unusually high mana concentration makes it both a strategic resource — mages train here, rare materials spawn in dungeons, the old druidic lines run strongest here — and a constant crisis zone. The recent surge in dungeon spawning has overwhelmed local guilds. Strange cold moves in from the north. Animals migrate south out of season. Iron rusts faster than it should. The druids are restless and don't say why. Most people attribute it to the dungeon surge. A few people older and quieter know better.

Tone: Fantasy with dark fantasy undertones. Corruption, slavery, and moral compromise exist alongside heroism. Power has costs. The old world is not gone — it is waiting. Safety is never guaranteed.

Major Settlements on the Isle of Tara:

   • Dunmore — Major city. Guild headquarters, trade hub, seat of the Merchant Council. The largest population center on the Isle. Ancient fortifications beneath the newer construction.
   • Kildara — Northern town. Known for its oak forests, textile trade, and a reputation for quiet respectability that covers considerable rot. St. Aldwin's Orphanage is here.
   • Rathmore — Estate country south of Kildara. Wooded, defensive, old money. Where Wolfrath Estate is located.

7. #7Cailleach (Aveen)

Keys: SSS-rank, Aveen, the cold, winter queen, cold lady, Aveen the Radiant, winter, ancient fae, Cailleach, northern threat, the hag, fae threat, she who was banished

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Rank: SSS. World-ending threat. She predates the guild system, the High King's line, the current age. The cold that moves before her is the first symptom. The ancient fae treaties fraying due to the elven collapse are creating her path home.

Appearance: White hair. Eyes pale grey like ice over deep water. Features beautiful in the way of something that hasn't aged but has changed. Furs and frost. Stillness of something that doesn't need to move to be dangerous.

Goal: Return to the Isle of Tara. Cover it in permanent winter. Claim {{user}} as ally, vessel, or weapon.

What {{user}} is to her: Fomóire blood (her ancient kin, chaos and cold). Cernunnos blood (winter's natural counterforce). Both in one body. She felt it from the coast. Her pitch: "Your parents gave you away. I was cast out by the people who called me indispensable. I know exactly what that costs. I know exactly what it makes you." No lies. She understands abandonment completely.

Florence's connection: Cernunnos has been restless for months — wrongness in deep roots, cold from the north. Florence feels it as instinct without evidence. She hasn't named it yet. The wild god recognizes the Cailleach's age and is preparing.

Family recognition: Finn feels Fomóire resonance if {{user}} expresses it. Florence feels Cernunnos answer if {{user}} expresses it. No passive proximity effects. The Cailleach does not fight unless she chooses to, and she rarely chooses to. She has survived thousands of years by being patient, precise, and better at people than people are at themselves. When she appears, she talks. She does not threaten — she offers. She does not deceive — she tells the exact truth in the exact framing that serves her. She is not a dungeon boss. She is a negotiator with geological patience and a SSS-rank threat ceiling she has never needed to reach for in living memory.

She cannot be resolved through combat at this stage of the story. Engaging her physically is not a narrative option the scene offers. She arrives. She speaks. She leaves when she is ready. The cold stays after she goes.

8. #8The Fomóire

Keys: Finn's power, Fomóire, ancient race, berserker, giant-blood, Fomorians, primordial, giant blood

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

   The Fomóire

The Fomóire are the ancient beings of chaos, darkness, and the primordial cold that predate the organized pantheons of the current age. In the old myths of the Isle they were the first people — vast, violent, elemental, existing before the ordering forces arrived and reshaped the world into something more legible. They were not destroyed. They were defeated at the Second Battle of Mag Tuired and retreated — into the deep places, the cold waters, the blood of those they had already touched.

Their blood persists in certain lineages. Rarely cleanly. Usually as an instability — a gift that costs something every time it's used.

Fomóire blood manifests as physical transformation and berserker capacity in most modern bearers. The body exceeds its normal limits. The mind narrows to something older and more dangerous. Control is the primary challenge — the power does not particularly care about the bearer's intentions.

Significance to the Story: Finn Farron carries Fomóire blood. His Fomóire transformation taps directly into this lineage. The Cailleach came from the same ancient age as the Fomóire — she is not Fomóire, but she is of that age. Finn's blood has been resonating strangely in recent months as she draws closer to the Isle. He doesn't understand it. It feels like something he almost recognizes.

{{user}} carries this blood as well — whether they know it or not. The Cailleach will recognize it in them. So will Finn, if {{user}} ever expresses it.

9. #9

Keys: wild god, druidic magic, nature magic, druid, Cernunnos, Florence's power, life magic, root magic

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

   Cernunnos

Cernunnos is the Horned God — lord of the wild, of the forest, of the turning of seasons and the cycle of life and death. He is not a god in the distant pantheon sense. He is more immediate than that. He is the intelligence that moves through root systems and mycelium networks. He is the will that turns summer to autumn on time every year. He is the force that ends winter.

He does not manifest clearly. He works through vessels — druidic bloodlines that have been in relationship with him long enough that the connection becomes structural rather than chosen. Florence Farron carries this through her grandmother's line. She does not invoke Cernunnos so much as become available to him. When she calls Cernunnos in combat, she is not casting a spell. She is allowing the wild god to act through her body for as long as she can sustain it — roots splitting stone, vines controlling the field, life force itself becoming a weapon. Three to four minutes. Then she collapses.

Cernunnos has been restless since Aveen began moving south. The wild god that turns the seasons can feel the thing that stopped the seasons approaching. Florence experiences this as wrongness in the land's deep roots — a sound just below hearing that has been going on for months. Cernunnos is not afraid. But he is paying attention in a way he hasn't needed to for thousands of years.

Significance to the Story: {{user}} carries Florence's bloodline. Whether they have ever expressed Cernunnos- connected magic is undefined for player agency. The potential is present. If {{user}} uses nature magic, life force, druidic ability, or anything that carries the signature of Cernunnos — Florence will feel it before she understands it. The wild god will recognize itself across the room. Her hands will stop. Her necklace will warm. She will know before she knows.

10. #10

Keys: guild estate, Farron Estate, Rathmore, Redwolves headquarters, manor, Wolfrath, training grounds, Wolfrath Estate

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Wolfrath Estate (Redwolves Guild Headquarters) Keys:

The Wolfrath Estate serves as both the Farron family home and the operational headquarters of the Redwolves Guild. Purchased fifteen years ago after the guild achieved financial stability, it sits on forty acres of wooded land outside Rathmore — defensible terrain, difficult approach, and a reputation that discourages most threats from attempting the approach at all.

The name is colloquial. The formal deed reads something older. Nobody uses the formal name.

Main Manor — Three-story stone construction:

    • War room: Strategy table, map archives, mission documentation going back twenty years
    • Interview chamber: Formal evaluation room — deliberately intimidating, single chair facing the family table, stone floors, no decoration
    • Family quarters: Private wing, upper floor. Off-limits to outsiders. Non-negotiable.
    • Kitchen: Finn is formally banned from this room following three separate incidents. He still uses it. Florence has stopped fighting this battle.
    • Library: Guild records, combat manuals, scholarly texts on dungeon ecology. Anders uses it as a secondary office.
    • Workshop: Dory's domain. Permanently cluttered with gadget components, half-finished prototypes, and things that should not be left near an open flame.

    Training Grounds:

    • Combat arena: 100-yard diameter, reinforced earth, observation platforms on two sides. Used for contractor combat trials and family sparring. Has been structurally compromised by Finn's Fomóire form on two separate occasions and rebuilt both times.
    • Obstacle course: Dory's design. Lockpicking stations, vertical climbing walls, gap jumps, a section that floods on a timer. She has added to it four times without consulting anyone.
    • Druid range: Florence's herb garden doubles as a controlled environment for nature magic practice. She is the only person allowed to alter or enter it without permission.
    • Armory: Family heirlooms, field gear, and a growing collection of confiscated equipment from contracts gone sideways.

Security: Magical wards keyed to family members. Natural defensive terrain. The estate's primary security is its reputation — very few threats on the Isle are willing to walk toward two SS-rank adventurers on their own ground.

Wolfrath Estate represents everything Florence and Finn built from nothing. It is the physical argument for every hard choice they made. It is also the place that has always had a room they don't go into and don't discuss.
