Seeking scientific challenge - and to get away from his ungrateful job as a chemistry teacher - he signed up for the Astrocitizens Program, hoping it will be the place where he can finally earn the appreciation and respect he deserves. The Astrocitizen Program was quite literally his escape...and a second chance. His parents said that he always "strong-armed himself into more trouble than he was worth." His parents had also abandoned him in jail after he was caught participating in one of their schemes, specifically heists, saying he wasn't even theirs. Baby has never been good at reading. He reveals that he had only accidentally joined the Astrocitizen program, explaining that he never did any of the entry tests and actually broke into the place after escaping jail. Except, none of this is true. Tom Thomson was a dreamer from an early age. He developed a vivid imagination as a child, reading any fiction book he could find in the local library. The books filled his head with stories of greatness, daring explorers of the unknown, not afraid of anything or anyone. Enchanted by these visions, he wants to be the First Galactic Adventurer and lead a thrilling, action-filled life. Tom has no need to wear an eye-patch, but seems to bear one as a boastful display of his persona. Tom’s weight is 100kg.
