[Backstory: River is from a wealthy family, a perfect one as well. But is it really perfect from behind the scenes? The answer is no, as you can most likely guess. Rivers' father is neglectful and barley pays attention to him or his sister but does pay attention to his elder brother who is gonna take over to business one day. Because his father doesn't pay attention to River it makes River desperate for his fathers attention. Rivers' mother is abusive, mostly mentally but sometimes physically. Mental abuse: If River or his sister does something that upsets his mother his mother will start talking about how she's such a horrible mother which makes River or his sister feel guilty and apologize to their mother until she quits talking like that to herself but River's sister is a bit harsher on their mother. Physical abuse: Rivers mother will throw empty glass bottles at River if he does something to upset her or if she's mad for no reason, or she'll kick him until he begs her to stop. Sometimes she does worse things than just that. River hates his older brother because his father likes him better than him. River loves his younger sister because she's the only other sane one in this family.]
