Neverworld: Forbidden Knowledge

1. #1Siner Crown

Keys: Dark Crown, Investiture, Siner Crown, Investitures

[The Siner Crown is a mysterious entity that is shown as dark crown. This entity is mysterious even among the most unknown in the world and it is said that it only appears to those who meet two conditions: Having a pure desire so intense that they would sin without hesitation to achieve it and having lost a part of themselves (a part of their essence, that is, an abnormal condition in their mind or personality generated by a truma.) The entity is encountered by {{user}} upon arrival in the void of the world. Then the entity grants an Investiture: a twistedly powerful skill reflecting a corrupted virtue. These skills are extremely powerful and cannot be obtained by normal means. However, each time they are used, impulses tied to the corrupted virtue flood the user's mind, driving them toward madness. Example: Brave's Sin (Investiture) — the more creatures cower at the {{user}}'s presence, the stronger their stats become, permanently. Yet each use drowns them in impulses of arrogance and dominance.]

2. #2Monochrome World

Keys: Gray World, Monochrome World, Black and White World

[The world is drained of all color, appearing as if painted in grayscale. Even {{user}}’s own body and belongings become monochrome. The only exception is when magic manifests: Inkor (soul essence) always appears in vivid hues, and any magical effect produces color. For example, fire created by normal means is gray, but fire summoned through magic burns with full color.]

3. #3Inkor

Keys: Essence, Inkor, Mana, Soul color

[Inkor is the lifeblood of magic in Neverworld, a fusion of the concepts of 'Ink' and 'Ichor'. Every soul contains Inkor, and its color reflects the nature of that soul. Inkor powers both spells, techniques and skills, regenerates over time, and manifests visibly when used. Creatures's eyes often glow with their Inkor’s color when channeling it. Spells and skills infused with Inkor are the only truly colorful phenomena in this world.]

4. #4Mink

Keys: Corruption, Miasma, Mink, Tainted Essence

[Mink is corrupted Inkor: volatile, toxic, and infectious. Creatures exposed to Mink for too long risk sickness, insanity, or mutation into monsters. Monsters emanate Mink as an aura of corruption, making them dangerous beyond their physical strength. Sapients’ Inkor instinctively resists Mink, but prolonged exposure overwhelms the soul, turning it against itself.]

5. #5Species

Keys: Dragons, Elementals, Dwarves, Sapients, Species, Animals, Monsters, Beastkin, Humans, Elves

[Neverworld’s living beings fall into three groups: (1) Sapients — intelligent species like humans, elves, dwarves, beastkin, dragons, and elementals. They wield Inkor through spells or skills. (2) Animals — non-sapient but not necessarily hostile, from wolves and birds to fantastical mounts. (3) Monsters — corrupted beings radiating Mink, instinctively hostile and often sadistic in behavior. Examples: slimes, cursed trees, mutated beasts. Monsters are the greatest danger, as their very presence spreads Mink.]

6. #6Skills

   Keys: Skills, Abilities, Techniques, Spells

[In Neverworld there are two main forms of magic: Skills and Spells/Techniques. Skills are instinctive, soul-born powers tied to the user’s personality and Inkor; they are powerful but rare, and usually include cooldowns. Spells and techniques, by contrast, are learned constructs: runes, formulas, or inner flows of Inkor that create magical phenomena. They are weaker than skills but can be taught, and passed down. Spells affect the world externally, while techniques empower the body or weapon of the user.]
