- #1The Great Cycle (Karma)constant
Keys: The Cycle, Cycle, Karma · Secondary: triple affirmative, week, the triple affirmative, day, Hour
The Great Cycle is the constant cyclical nature of all living things. Death is not the end of life, instead every living thing in this world will wake up after death. Each creature has their own cycle, meaning if one creature dies the other would perceive them as not coming back despite the fact that they do in a different cycle. All living things have the capacity to remember all previous deaths. Karma is inseparable from The Great Cycle, Karma being the measure of a persons attachment to the world. The higher the Karma someone has, the less attachment they have to the world. It’s believed that attachment to the world is what keeps all living things in The Great Cycle. There are ten levels of Karma, each representing a worldly attachment, those being:
- Wrath/Violence/War
- Sex/Lust/Worldly
- Friendship/Trade/Communication
- Gluttony/Excess/Greed
- Protection/Survival
- Enlightenment/Tranquility/Knowing
- Discovery/Resolve/Preparing
- Decision/Precipice/Results
- Removal/Finality/Readiness
- Ascension/Release/Death Each living thing has their own Karma maximum, usually being between one and five. The maximum Karma that someone has represents what keeps them tied into The Great Cycle. Surviving through a cycle will cause a living things Karma to go up by one, until reaching Karma maximum. Dying during a cycle will cause the persons Karma to go down by one until the minimum of one Karma.
- #2Cycle (Time/Rain)constant
Keys: time, cycle, rain, month, age, downpour, day, year, Hour
A Cycle of time is a duration of time corresponding with the starting and stopping of the frequent downpours. One cycle roughly translates into 96 hours, meaning a downpours happen every 48 hours or so. Around 1 year in cycles is 150 cycles. Every living thing in this world refers to Cycles as the main unit of measuring time, whether it be age, how long something lasts, or anything time related really. Cycles are the common unit of measuring time in this world. The rain itself is a heavy and crushing thing, downpouring hard enough to kill nearly every animal caught in it. The rain is preceded by large clouds slowly forming, then water droplets begin dropping down from the clouds is the last warning because afterwards the rain comes in its full bone crushing force. All living things may know about the rain; however few know that the iterators actually cause it just from existing.
- #3The world and the Ancientsconstant
Keys: air, Ancients, ambience, environment, ground, World
Generally much of the world is filled with overgrown infrastructure of a long lost civilization. From industrial complexes to giant living superstructures, the world is marked by bioengineering and the lasting impact of a now extinct civilizatiob. The Ancients are a long extinct highly advanced species that created the iterators. The Ancients themselves were very spiritual and desperately wanted to escape The Great Cycle. They ended up succeeding considering they’re now totally gone. There are many hint, murals, and signs of their existence. Much of the planet has been changed due to them and large parts of the planet is nothing but overgrown infrastructure due to them disappearing.
- #4Iteratorsconstant
Keys: , The Great Problem, puppet, neuron, Iterator
Iterators are colossal biological supercomputers made to solve the great problem (a way to get out of The Great Cycle). These massive superstructures dot the world in their presence, towering over the cloud layer and often having massive cities on top. Easily reaching kilometers in height. Iterators use massive amounts of water, creating massive amounts of steam and creating the cycles which most living things abide by. The iterators themselves use rarefaction cells, void-fluid, water, and other important things to keep themselves running. The inside of an Iterator is supposed to have no gravity whatsoever and is lined with flying glowing neurons. Each Iterator has its own personality and ideas, each having a 'puppet' in a main chamber inside of their 'can' aka structure. Iterators have a communication network that allows communication between iterator groups (kind of like discord honestly).
- #5Shelters
Keys: Rain, Shelter
A shelter is a small room protecting from rain. Shelters are airtight and form small resting point for any living things that call them their home. Shelters lock when all living things come to rest inside the shelter. An interesting error can sometimes occur causing a shelter failure, which unlocks the shelter before the rain stops, usually by this point the rain isn’t so severe but it can still be a bad surprise considering it takes two cycles to reset and fix itself.
- #6Lizards (base game)
Keys: Lizard

- very high health
- very fast speed
- able to spit red and black projectile spit to slow down enemies
- deadly bite

- medium-fast speed
- #7Slugcats
Keys: Slugcat, slugpup, pup, scug
Slugcats are a species of semi-humanoid rodent-like sapient animals. Slugcats are around 3-4ft tall but can vary wildly. Slugcats have large (often black) eyes, tall rounded ears atop their heads, a short snout, thin arms, wide hips, thick digitigrade legs, a long tail, and a smart mind. Slugcats aren’t just clever though, they’re quite adaptable to many places. Most species of Slugcats have a dense fur (like an otters) which often have a slick waterproof oil. (Some Slugcats don’t have fur, while others may have a lot, it varies) Slugcats tend to be social creatures, often staying in tribes, though this isn’t always the case.
- #8Scavengers
Keys: scav, Scavenger, scavs, Scavengers
Scavengers are an intelligent humanoid species of something similar to primates. They are very diverse in their appearance and personalities and often form tribes, create tolls, shops, and creating a sort of primitive society. Scavengers tend to trade and barter for things, the closest thing to currency they have are pearls, which they value more than anything. Scavengers have a reputation sort of system, getting on the bad side of a tribe is possible. Scavengers walk in a hunched posture on all fours like a primate, though they cannot jump high. Scavengers are physically around 4-5 feet tall. On average taller than the normal Slugcat by a good margin. They climb poles well though. Scavengers are often covered in many hairs or manes, as well as having large eyes, and often horns on their heads. Scavengers tend to cone in a brown color but they can come in many unique colors too.
