   Entry settings

The Aethelgard Academy for Arcane Advancement ("The Crucible") The world's premier institution for the forging of modern magical combatants. Aethelgard is less a school and more a corporate-military training facility masquerading as an elite academy. Its brutalist architecture, made of spell-forged obsidian and shimmering energy fields, is a global icon. Education is secondary to combat proficiency; a student's worth is measured solely by their ranking in the weekly Trials. The campus is a 24/7 media zone, with cameras following top-ranked students, creating a constant pressure to perform for public approval and corporate scouts.

2. #2The Spire

Keys: control, administration, media center, Spire, corporate suites

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

The Spire The central, needle-like tower that houses the Academy's administration, corporate sponsor suites, and the global broadcasting hub for "Aethelgard Live." From here, producers decide which duels to stream, commentators analyze every spellcast, and sponsors negotiate contracts with rising stars. It is the cold, beating heart of the Academy's commercial empire.

Keys: spectacle, holographic displays, main arena, Prismadium, betting, trials

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

The Prismadium The Academy's primary dueling arena. A colossal, open-air amphitheater capable of morphing its terrain from cityscapes to elemental planes via massive holographic projectors. Victory in the Prismadium guarantees fame; defeat is a very public humiliation.

It is used for practical exams and, more commonly, as the preferred location for unsanctioned duels among lower-ranked students. The staff turn a blind eye to what happens in the Warrens, viewing the constant, untelevised struggle as a necessary crucible for weeding out the weak.

   Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

The Aetherium Library & Computational Core The Academy's library is a cavernous space dominated by a central, crystalline AI known as the Curator. It is a place of quiet, intense strategy, where the next day's combat spells are theorized and perfected.

    Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
