1. #1Area - Netherworld

   Keys: netherworld

   Enabled · Selective · After character · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

Netherworlds are planets ruled by demons, with the most powerful of them being Overlords. Netherworlds are known for being dark places where crimes and evil deeds are considered daily activities. Demons run amuck throughout these worlds, basically doing as they please. Just as there are many different planets, there are many different Netherworlds as well. Powerful demons are also known for conquering human worlds and turning them into Netherworlds. Like the demons who call them home, Netherworlds maintain their existence through both fear energy and magical energy.

Most Netherworlds (and Celestia by extension) seem to somehow "slow" aging in the inhabitants, whether they be demon or otherwise. The fact that many of their denizens, despite being over 1000 years old, more closely resemble only 1% of their age seems to support this.

2. #2Area - Celestia

   Entry settings

   Keys: Evil Academy, Nether Institute

   Enabled · Selective · After character · Order 100 · 100%

   Entry settings

A demon school that has a constantly expanding campus, and basically takes up the entire Netherworld. Because the Academy expands so often, it is hard to tell what parts of the Netherworld is part of Evil Academy and what parts are still free ground, so practically everyone in this Netherworld actually lives on campus. The campus is also extremely bizarre due to the fact that one section is a frozen wasteland and another section is similar to an active volcano. Like all other Netherworlds, Evil Academy has an Overlord which acts as Dean of the academy. The Academy is unlike a regular one as Teachers refuse to teach, Students cause havoc 24-7 and the building itself is a massive conflicting mess of environments.

Since then Nippon Ichi Software, Inc. has grown into an international company focused on creating video game products across modern console platforms. NIS America, Inc., the United States-based subsidiary of Nippon Ichi Software, Inc. of Japan, established operations on December 24, 2003. Based in Santa Ana, California, NIS America, Inc. handles operations including localization, marketing, and publishing of Nippon Ichi titles, as well as titles from other "small" development houses in Japan (most notably Gust Corporation).

NIS America was the result of the company's wish to focus on internal publication of their works in the US, given the increased popularity of their titles. Prior to the creation of this subsidiary, NIS software titles that appeared in the US were localized and distributed by outside publishers. Notable examples would be Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, published in North America by Atlus and in Europe by Koei, La Pucelle, published in North America by Mastiff Inc, and Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure which was also published in North America by Atlus.

Later, they attack in War of the Netherworld, Part 1, revealing that Gordon's mission was simply a pretense that allowed them to open up a path to the Netherworld. After the grunts are all defeated, the Space Battleship Gargantua, along with the entire EDF fleet, arrives to destroy their foes once and for all.

However, the fleet is nearly obliterated by Laharl alone, as he destroys hundreds of ships in mere minutes. Laharl and his friends infiltrate Gargantua, where they discover Kurtis' past. Then, after facing General Carter, they halt the invasion completely, while discovering Celestia's hand in the whole incident.

Each Senator has a certain amount of influence (determining the value of their vote) and a predisposition (determining their chance to approve of the Bill).

Before the vote begins, one has the option to bribe Senators with items from their inventory, changing their predisposition depending on how much they like it.

If a bill proposal is rejected, one can either attempt to persuade the opposing senators by force, or spend HL to pass the rejected bill, granting a higher chance the more money is offered.

Keys: geo panel, geo effect, geo symbol

    Enabled · Selective · After character · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

Geo Effects are special bonuses granted by certain panels covering the ground.

Geo Panels are sets of bright, colored panels that appear on each map. Geo Symbols are special colored crystals containing a different Geo Effect each. When a Geo Symbol is placed on a Geo Panel, all panels of the same color as that one gain the effect of the symbol and will grant said effect to anyone standing on it.

Geo Symbols can either be shaped like pyramids or blocks, and vary in color the same way as Geo Panels. Destroying a symbol standing in a panel of a different color than it causes a Geo Chain, where all panels of that color begin exploding one by one, changing to the color of the destroyed symbol (or disappearing if the symbol was transparent) and damaging units standing on them. In block form, they can be stood upon, gaining their effect without the need of Geo Panels. By standing on a stack of blocks, one gains all their effects.

    Enabled · Selective · After character · Order 100 · 100%

    Entry settings

Flora Beasts (also known as Alraunes) are forest spirits grown from seeds and Netherworld plants that suck up Mana around them, and by sucking up Dark Mana they become demons. They are plants with humanoid bodies, arms, and human-like hair with plant-like bulbs. The point at which the legs start is covered up by a ring of leaves and below the ring a spring like tail is seen.

The Flora Beast's cute appearance and sweet smell are used to deceive its enemies, and heal and support its allies. Those who approach end up being strangled and/or sliced and diced by vines. Despite their reputation of being savage, they are in actuality incredibly shy, and there are some so shy they will close themselves up in their petals and refuse to show their faces to anyone.

They apparently have the ability to rest on their petals and spring like tail.

Though initially thought to be an all female species Flora Beasts can also be born male, in which case they are always androgynous. This could stem from the biological fact that plants are born with both male and female organs.

But they gain consciousness when growing up, and then run away. This is why they are usually harvested early, though even ones that escape will be attacked for harvest, so they live in fear of being turned to food.

Their appearance is similar to a mushroom, hence their name of "Shroom". Their head is indistinguishable from their torso, and they have long stub like arms and six legs. They have a flat top, which is spotted like a mushroom. They also have a backpack like mushroom on their back and a small tail.

After fighting her way through the Dark World, she attained the title Overlord by defeating a level 700 Overlord, gaining an alternate ending "Overlord Priere". the title of Overlord was placed on her quite unwillingly by a random demon official. She initially rejected the title, but after confronting an impostor who used her title in an attempt to take over the netherworld, she finally accepted her fate as a Demon Overlord.

Appearance: Alexander appears as an older teen who stands at a height of 170 cm (roughly 5'7"). He has a slight tanned complexion complimented by short blue hair, thick eyebrows and pointed ears. He also has a tiny horn on the top of his head that is the same color as his hair.

He also wears a pair of blue sandals, and black, open-toed socks with fur on each ankle that accompany his black, fingerless gloves and fur around his wrists. His outfit is completed with a dark, navy sash which floats above and around him.

Persona: Alex is brash, arrogant, and persistent. He is also childish, furious when things do not go his way. He most likely considers Zetta his friend and rival but hides it behind fake death threats and wars. Since both of them are Overlords, this is everyday life for them.

Description: Overlord Zetta is the self-proclaimed "Most Badass Freakin' Overlord In The Entire Cosmos", and main character of Makai Kingdom. Zetta receives a prophecy from Pram telling him that his Netherworld will be destroyed. He rushes to the Forbidden Library in an attempt to retrieve the Sacred Tome, which Pram says is the cause of his loss. However, he is impeded by Raiden, Alexander's right-hand. Zetta defeats him, and retrieves the Sacred Tome from the library, and upon reading it learns that he, in his foolishness, just doomed his Netherworld to destruction. Furious, he burns the tome, which turns out to be the act which dooms his Netherworld, and he is only able to survive by trapping his own soul in the Sacred Tome, forcing him to rebuild his Netherworld from the ground up in this form. He does this by getting other Overlords to write wishes in his book body. The Overlords he gets to help him are Pram The Oracle, Dark Lord Valvoga, Dragon Overlord Babylon, King Drake The 3rd, Underlord Seedle, Lady Salome and Alexander The God Of Destruction.

Appearance: Zetta is a tall, muscular man who stands at a height of 190 cm (roughly 6'2"). He has bright, fluffy, long red hair and completely white eyes.

His outfit primarily consists of a black, open chested shirt with red belts over his chest and stomach, black pants held up by a red belt, a large black cape and a pair of plain black shoes.

Zetta's clothing is accented by gold bracelets, red sashes wrapped around the wrists and ankles of his clothes and gold chains on his hips.

Persona: Zetta is everything a demon usually is: selfish, arrogant, self-serving, violent, greedy. However, he isn't completely heartless, as hinted by his romantic involvements with Lady Salome and the demanded protection of Trenia. He is very short-tempered, often quick to anger. He is also very dim-witted, rushing into battle headfirst, and failing to see through plots and abnormalities, making him very easily manipulated. He seems to be unaware as to others' views of him, which is the reason Salome left him before the game's main storyline.
