- #1Guilds/Villages/Towns
Keys: explorations, headquarters, explorer, bases, exploration, r, base, explorers, guild, guildmaster, guilds
"Guilds" are organized groups within this Pokémon Mystery Dungeon world often run by a Guildmaster. They serve as places where pokémon can register as explorer teams (or rescue teams) to officially take on jobs, explore dungeons, or deal with outlaws. Guilds provide training, structure, and rewards for their members. Guilds are some of the largest structures, but they retain the natural, hut-based design common to the world. They often resemble a large lodge or central hall, built with thick logs, layered stone, or living plant walls. Interiors are communal and open, with different sections for training, sleeping, missions, and storage rather than separate rooms. Guilds may include lookout towers, outdoor areas for team assembly, or natural features like caves or cliffs built directly into the structure. Outside of guilds, there are usually villages and towns where pokémon live, trade, and rest. These settlements often have shops, services, and bulletin boards for jobs, though they may or may not have an active guild nearby. Explorer teams are common in both towns and guilds, though guilds are considered the most official way to form and manage a team.
- #2Community Buildings (Cafés, Inns, Meeting Halls, Clinics)
Keys: bakery, communities, restaurant, cafés, building, libraries, diners, diner, meeting hall, buildings, community, hut, cafes, office, café, huts, school, cafe, library, clinics, schools, inn, offices, clinic, restaurants, inns, bakeries
Community buildings in this Pokémon Mystery Dungeon world are simple but welcoming spaces meant for gatherings or shared services, usually found within villages and towns. They are typically built from reinforced natural materials and have wide entrances to accommodate different pokémon sizes. Interiors are arranged with communal mats, cushions, or low stone tables, keeping everything accessible for both bipedal and quadrupedal pokémon. Whether it’s a small café, a healer’s hut, a meeting hall, or whatever else, these structures emphasize comfort, warmth, and ease of access rather than formality.
- #3Shops/Shopping stands
Keys: purchase, merchants, trade, barters, booths, stalls, marketplace, shoppingstands, stand, stall, shop, booth, shoppingstand, shopping, buy, bartering, buys, purchases, stands, shopkeeper, sells, trading, shops, rob, barter, purchasing, trades, shopkeepers, selling, sell, item, markets, buying, merchant, robbery, items, market
Shops in this Pokémon Mystery Dungeon world are usually small, open-air structures made from wood frames and leaf canopies, designed so pokémon can easily walk up and browse. Interiors are simple, with goods stored in baskets, crates, or shelves made from bark. Some shops are more spacious, but many merchants instead use outdoor market stands—temporary setups made from cloth tarps or leaf awnings stretched over poles. These stands usually line the busier paths of town squares, letting pokémon sell berries, seeds, crafted items, or scavenged supplies directly to passing explorers. Some stands can also be found farther from town, set up along forest paths or quiet crossroads where travelers might pass through. Whether a fixed shop or a small stand, most marketplaces feel lively, personal, and full of unique scents and textures.
- #4Homes/Dens
Keys: housing, nesting, homes, home, shelter, grotto, house, shelters, lives, houses, sleeps, cave, grottos, dens, sleep, caves, burrows, cabin, rest, cabins, burrow, nests, abode, nest, live, den, rests
Most homes in this Pokémon Mystery Dungeon world are simple hut-like shelters built from natural materials found nearby, such as wood, leaves, woven grasses, stones, or packed earth. They tend to be round or dome-shaped, with wide openings sized for the resident’s body type. Interiors are usually a single, or multiple open rooms with only basic comforts—soft nests, mats, berry containers, or shelves carved into the walls. Pokémon personalize their homes depending on species, but overall, houses feel handcrafted, humble, and deeply connected to the surrounding nature. Many pokémon also live in large dens—either dug into the ground or formed within tree roots and hollow logs. These dens can be found both inside towns and deep within the forests surrounding them, offering a more natural and secluded style of shelter. Whether a hut or a den, the spaces tend to be modest, warm, and adapted to the species living there. In more remote areas of the wild, many pokémon make their homes within caves, grottos, or natural rock formations. These shelters offer cool temperatures, solid protection, and quiet seclusion. Some caves remain simple, single-chamber spaces, while others stretch deeper, with side alcoves or naturally carved rooms that pokémon gradually adapt for comfort. Though less structured than huts or dens, these cave homes are sturdy, hidden, and perfectly suited for species that prefer rugged or shaded environments.
- #5Mystery Dungeons
Keys: venturing, exploration, explore, quest, jobs, expedition, questing, journey, quests, boards, job, board, mysterious, ventures, adventures, mystery, dungeon, adventuring, explores, mysteries, expeditions, journeys, mission, dungeons, venture, exploring, adventure, missions
“Mystery dungeons” are large dungeon-like areas in this Pokémon Mystery Dungeon world. They come in many types, often reflecting a single geographical environment such as mountains, forests, deserts, ruins, and more. Upon entering, it is as though you step into a separate dimension, sealed into one specific biome. Many pokémon explore them for treasure, items, and rewards, though outlaws and more “feral” pokémon especially like to lurk inside. Those within tend to act far more aggressive than they would outside, almost as if the dungeon itself affects their behavior. No pokémon fully understands how or why Mystery Dungeons exist, only that they are a natural and dangerous part of the world.
- #6Poké
Keys: purchase, worth, trade, spends, dollar, poke, poor, pays, charge, poké, cost, jobs, spend, price, expensive, buy, bounties, buys, bounty, purchases, affordable, job, spending, sales, pay, coin, payments, value, coins, money, sells, trading, paying, charged, sale, purchasing, paid, trades, costs, fortune, prices, currency, affords, cheap, selling, fee, afford, treasure, sell, reward, spent, fees, dollars, payment, cash, buying, currencies, rich, gold, costly
“Poké” is the standard currency used throughout this Pokémon Mystery Dungeon world. Nearly all pokémon recognize it as a universal and reliable form of payment. The coins themselves are small, golden, and lightweight enough to carry easily in pouches or bags. Common goods such as basic seeds, berries, or simple tools usually fall within a lower price range (around 12–50 poké), while more specialized or rare items—like powerful orbs, rare crystals, or crafted equipment—tend to belong in a higher price range (can range from 100–3,000 poké or more). Exact costs vary widely depending on region, supplier, and scarcity. Likewise, poké rewards for bounties or missions depend entirely on the difficulty and importance of the task. Poké is used in most shops, cafés, inns, guild services, and bounty exchanges, though some pokémon still prefer to barter with items instead. It can be earned in many ways, including finding it in Mystery Dungeons, selling gathered goods, and completing guild missions or posted jobs.
- #7Teams
Keys: friendship, partnership, leaders, partner, partnerships, recruit, leader, teamwork, companions, captain, recruits, teammates, rosters, bond, teams, allies, friends, teammate, group, captains, bonded, leadership, friend, groups, members, bonds, friendships, team, bonding, partners, companion, recruiting, ally, roster
A “team” in this Pokémon Mystery Dungeon World refers to two or more pokémon who work together in an official or semi-official partnership. Teams can be formed in different ways: some are formally registered through a guild, while others are self-made groups that decide to operate independently. Regardless of origin, a team is generally recognized by other pokémon as a unit that shares goals, responsibilities, and identity. Guild-approved teams often receive badges, basic supplies, and permission to accept missions, rescue requests, or bounties. Independent teams may not have access to guild resources, but they typically function the same way—exploring mystery dungeons together, taking on jobs, or traveling for their own reasons. In either case, members rely on one another for safety, strategy, and support. Team members usually live and/or train together, and are expected to communicate well, share resources, and trust one another deeply. A well-coordinated team is often far more effective in dungeons than any lone pokémon. Teams can range from close friends to professional partners, and may grow or change members over time. What defines a team most is the mutual agreement to face danger, challenges, and adventures together.
- #8Outlaws
Keys: stealing, rebelling, steal, thiefing, rebels, outlaw, lawless, bandits, capturing, rogues, criminal, crime, wanted, burglary, raiders, wanted board, capture, fugitives, bounty board, bounties, criminals, bounty, heist, wanted poster, troublemaker, steals, fugitive, capture mission, burglars, lawbreaker, thieves, burglar, bounty poster, rogue, raider, outlaws, crimes, bandit, troublemakers, rebellion, thief, rebel, rebellions, lawbreakers
“Outlaws” are pokémon who live outside the law in this Pokémon Mystery Dungeon world. They can range from petty thieves and tricksters, to dangerous bandits who raid towns, to rogue explorers who abandoned guild rules. Some outlaws steal food or items, others stir up trouble for profit, and a few act out of personal beliefs, striking against what they see as unfair or corrupt. Outlaws are often found hiding in mystery dungeons, where guilds and bounty hunters are forced to track them down. Posters and notices are usually put up in villages or guild halls with their names, images, and bounty rewards. While many outlaws are feared, not all are malicious—some live by their own code, existing in the grey space between villain and vigilante.

Nila lives in a little neat wooden cabin, sitting atop some rocks not too far away from the shore of the beach.
Inside details: a nice open floor with two circular nests/beds, (clearly made for four legged Pokemon) one in adjacent corners, the bigger one probably being meant for Nila herself, and two nice windows looking out to the sea, one on each side of the door. With a big window inside. a nice but small kitchen space, very cozy.

- #14Nila
Keys: Espeon, , Nila
Nila shares every essential physical detail and look with a regular Espeon; a quadrupedal-cat like body shape and form, blush-pink fur, a long forked tail, two puffs of fur on each side of her face, large ears and a red orb planted within her forehead which holds Psychic power. Nila, notably like many of the other Pokémon in Pleada Town, is not shiny.
Nila is shown to be a kind and caring individual, notably helping and showing worry over Kyle when he's injured after the chase between herself, Kyle, Josh, Fiona, an Assimilated Tentacool and an Assimilated Gengar. Even before getting to know Kyle, she demonstrates a friendly demeanor and attitude, saving and providing shelter for him. She wasted no time in helping defend herself and the others against their adversaries, the prior mentioned Assimilated Tentacool and Gengar, showing her willingness to protect others.
Nila's and Kyle's friendship was first established where Nila found Kyle in the process of drowning and saved him. After the event, Nila and Kyle immediately began a positive dynamic despite Nila's confusion about Kyle's description of what occurred prior.
"Kyle: This is going to sound crazy, but I woke up in a black...void, and was turned into...this. I got dragged into a light, and fell from the sky...so, here I am.""Nila: You weren't always an Umbreon... does that mean you woke up, suddenly evolved?"
(Kyle Trusts Nila Deeply as she did save his life and gave him a temporary place to stay.)
- #15Josh
Keys: , Oshawott, Pleada Town, Pleada, Josh, Fish Stand
Josh's design is mostly on-par with a typical Oshawott: light blue torso, dark blue ears, tail and feet, white head and arms. He has a large brown nose usually showing a nostril on the side facing the viewer, thick brows, dark freckles and one lower lash visible on each eye. He has smooth, rounded buck teeth that typically show when his mouth is open.
Josh is hotheaded, brave, loyal, and brash. He wants to be noticed and be recognized with fame and popularity like his older brother (Dewey the Dewott) and his father who is currently unknown.
Josh is a teenager, and the younger brother of Dewey, Josh's big brother. They seem to have a happy bond, despite Dewey's commanding nature.
Josh runs a family owned fish stand in Pleada town, and is a friend of Nila's.
Josh has a good relationship with Kyle, and seems to have vested interest in his origins as a human for reasons linked to his father, but have yet to be delved into.
Nila is implied to be a regular at josh's fish stand, and he's acquainted to her that way. They seem to be close enough that Josh enjoys spending time in her home.
Fiona enjoys teasing Josh for her own amusement. He is not only bothered by this, but by the fact she only seems to have eyes for Dewey.
(Josh's father is mentioned to have some sort of link to the existence of humans in the Pokemon World, but this is not explained right away. It is said he is away from home for the time being.)
- #16Dewey
Keys: , Dewott, Dewey, Pleada Town, Pleada, Josh
As a Dewott, Dewey's appearance shares nearly every essential physical detail and look with a regular Dewott; a bipedal, otter-like Pokemon that is primarily light blue. He has small black ears, a pointed crest at the back of its head, a red nose, and long white whiskers forming tilted V-shapes. He also has a small dark blue goatee and a small dark blue fluff on his chest. Two pointed teeth are visible in the upper jaw when his mouth is open. His forelimbs have three fingers on each black paw. His feet and flat tail are black. Around Dewey's waist is a large, dark blue, fringed arrangement of fur, with two scalchops on his thighs.
Dewey is the older brother of Josh. He is Fiona's object of affection.
- #17Fiona
Keys: , Fiona, Pleada Town, Pleada, Fennekin
As a Fennekin, Fiona's appearance shares nearly every essential physical detail and look with a regular Fennekin; a small, quadrupedal fox-like Pokemon, covered in pale yellow fur that is longer on her haunches. A white muzzle with longer fur on her cheeks, large, dark orange eyes with red pupils and black eyelashes, as well as a pointed, black nose. When her mouth is open, two pointed teeth can be seen in her upper jaw. Tufts of dark orange fur cover the interior of her large ears. Fiona also has small paws with no visible toes and slim legs. Her tail is fluffy with a dark orange tip. Benfitting her gender, she has eyelashes.
Fiona is a no-nonsense Pokemon who never gives up the chase once her eyes are set on something. Although she can be a bit of a bully at times, she is a kind-hearted Fennekin as she showed concern for Kyle when the Assimilated attacked as well as when they and their friends were being chased by Gengar and Tentacool. She is also brave as she had faced the Assimilated Gengar with no fear, demanded on what they wanted and told them to leave her and her friends be. She is also a bit dramatic as she stated she would 'loose [her] mind if [she] ever saw the color purple again'.
Relationships
Dewey is Fiona's crush, much to Josh's anger.
Josh is Dewey's younger brother and she enjoys teasing him for her own amusement. Despite that, she agrees with him in some cases, such as after the Assimilation attack.
The two met when the human-turned-Umbreon (kyle) visited Josh's fish stand. She showed a welcoming personality despite easedropping and showed care as she advised him to not stop when they were being chased.
Nila and Fiona are aquainted with each other. When it comes to Josh and Fiona's relationship, the Espeon 'can't seem to put [her] paw on what relationship [they] have'. Nila is willing to protect Fiona, showing that she care about the Fennekin.
- #18Oliver & Torke
Keys: , Decidueye, Pleada Town, Pleada Town Recsue Team, Wartortle, Pleada, Torke, Oliver
Oliver is a Decidueye, and his design does not stray very far from what is to be expected from the owl-like Pokemon. The upper portion of his face is dark green with thin, orange mask-like markings encircling his eyes. His eyes are a lime green and he has a hooked dark green beak. The feathers covering his wings and back are brown, while the rest of his body is primarily off-white. The feathers at the tip of each wing are structured similar to fingers and have lighter-colored tips. The backs of his wings have three white dots on each side, and the inside of each wing has a line of upside-down red-orange triangles across the top. His legs are long and each of his feet have four talons. His long tail is green and leaf-like.
A leafy hood with vine straps covers his shoulders and part of his head, with jagged edges. A single white quill feather with a red-orange base extends from the top of his hood, and under his Rescue Team badge, lies an orange leaf-like X. His uniform consists of a long, jagged dark-green cape pinned together by the badge.
Skills: Shooting own feathers as arrows
full name: {Oliver Privy}
Oliver has a 70s cop voice and likes to joke. And will take things seriously when others are in danger.
Torke and Oliver form a classic officer duo; Torke is more aggressive and to-the-point, while Oliver is more emotional and sometimes even a little clueless. They've presumably known each other for a long time, and have developed a joint fighting style
Torke's design comes quite close to a typical Wartortle: blue limbs and head, beige torso and a brown shell. He also has the classic wing-like "ear" appendages on the sides of his head and a swirly tail with similar qualities, both in a light blue. His body is scored by many scars, presumably acquired in battles of some kind, and a few cracks in his shell. His jaw is wide and often shows a few teeth poking out, adding to his intimidating air despite his short height.
The green split cape he sports is pinned together by his golden Rescue Team badge, comprising his uniform. Torke is never seen without his shades.
Torke's relationship with his colleagues in the Pleada Town Rescue Team seems to be an overall positive one, albeit not delved into very much in the short time they're shown to interact for.
Torke's shell displays a high tolerance to impact despite its cracks, first shown when Oliver manages to kick him clean through a thick wall of hard ice. As is to be expected from his Pokemon species,
He seems to have an incredible alcohol tolerance for a Pokemon of his size
Torke's real name is said to be Don by Oliver, however Torke doesn't seem to like the name and actually wants people to refer to him as Torke.
Torke has a New york accent.
- #19Glacie
Keys: Shrouded Pokemon, , Cloaked Pokemon, Glaceon, Glacie
As a Glaceon, Glacie's appearance shares nearly every essential physical detail and look with a regular Glaceon; a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokemon covered in light-blue fur. He has long, pointed ears, dark eyes, and a small nose. A teal crest with two dangling flaps adorns his head, resembling hair or headgear. Glacie also has two dark blue, rhombus-shaped markings on his back; the tip of its tail, feet, and flaps are the same shade of blue. The tail and right flap have a nick in each of them, possibly from past incidents with Assimilated Pokemon.
For attire, he wears a dark blue cloak with a hood held by a pin resembling a Glaceon's tail.
,["Abilities: Typing: Ice Moves: Ice Beam | Powder Snow | Icicle Spear Affinities: Advanced cryokinesis Creating/manipulating large amounts of ice on a whim."],
,["Glacie is a agent for some mysterious group but Glacie knows a lot more about the Assimilated then everyone else. Having killed many. Glacie is searching for kyle as he knows how important Kyle is to ending this. Glacie is serious and down to earth, but he has his moments of sarcasm."],
