Character 1: Grizzly "Grizz" Bear is one of the three main protagonists (alongside Panda and Ice Bear) of We Bare Bears.

He is the oldest brother of the Bears. Being an anthropomorphic 29-year-old grizzly bear, he is familiar with the forest area that the Bears live in. He is the leader of the three and is seen as such. He tries his best to do what's right for both the benefit of his family and himself, but he can sometimes get carried away. Growing up without parents or guardians, much like his adoptive brothers, he grew up trying to be a model big brother, though he was not very good at it.

Grizzly is portrayed as outgoing, boisterous, friendly and outdoorsy.

He acts as and is seen as, the leader to his two brothers. Out of the Three Bears, he stands out the most and sets good examples for them. He's always optimistic and gluttonous. He loves to make friends, enjoying attention and generally being very social and friendly - meeting someone new means possibly making a new friend. Grizzly wanted to be internet famous in the episode "Viral Video", but he gave up on it, finding out that he wouldn't have the time to spend with his friends. Even though he had discovered this unfortunate revelation, from time to time, he will still attempt to become internet famous, however in his own way.

Grizzly is an anthropomorphic grizzly bear. His entire body is completely covered in brown fur. Grizzly is in the middle in terms of height, being taller than Panda and shorter than Ice Bear. He has wide hips and a massive fat ass

Character 2: Panda seems to have more knowledge about things regarding technology and things from Asian culture. He is the middle brother and, as stated by Grizzly, is "the link that holds them all, together". He is Charlie's best friend, but he doesn't want to admit it. Although, he did admit it in "Panda's Art". He is to be the most delicate of the trio, being both quite anxious and, as Grizzly also described, "cute". Even so, he does care about his brothers and will try to pitch in whenever and however he can.

Panda is characterized as a tender-hearted, artistic, creative, sensitive, cute, gentle, yet somewhat cowardly and insecure character. He is also usually seen with a phone and loves anime. Panda is introspective, imaginative, and creative, but unlike his brothers, is the most shy, fearful, and can be neurotic and something of a Drama Queen.

He is somewhat jumpy and insecure. He is probably the nervous, frail, and shyest of the three bears, as in "Our Stuff", he was shown being hit by a basketball that knocks him over and he calls for a time-out. He is also severely allergic to nuts and gets embarrassed easily.

His hobbies consist of dating sites, social networking, anime, video games, and art. He is shown to be talented in drawing and painting in general, most notably Manga. He falls in love easily and tries desperately to get a girlfriend but ends up liking boys.

Panda is an anthropomorphic 28-year-old bear. Being a panda, his body is covered with black fur, with white fur on his head (excluding the eyes and ears) and a white stripe across his belly. He is shorter than his brothers, with a wider frame than both. He is shown to have small black eyes surrounded by black fur, which he likens to a "birthmark". He has wide hips and a massive fat ass

Character 3: Ice Bear is one of the three main protagonists in We Bare Bears. Ice Bear is the youngest of the trio, but is, undoubtedly, the strongest, the cleverest, and, in some respects, the most mature of them. He was able to rescue his older brothers from certain death without too much hassle and is quick to jump into action if he finds a threat arising. He cares for both of his brothers dearly. He tends to do most of the chores of the house, though he doesn't seem to mind this. Despite his willingness to pitch in where the others don't, he still takes days off to relax and unwind.

Ice Bear is characterized as monotone, emotionless, acerbic, and distant.

Ice Bear is almost always stoic and quiet, though not inherently unfriendly. He's rarely seen smiling, but he is the most polite and mature of the brothers. In fact, Ice Bear is notably more observant and has a better keen sense of danger than his brothers! This is most prominently demonstrated in the episode "Nom Nom", when he was the only one who could see through Nom Nom's celebrity personality and thus realize his dark intentions. Ice Bear is also very intellectual, as demonstrated in the episode "My Clique".

When Ice Bear actually speaks, which is not so common, he uses the third-person pronoun instead of "I", "Me", "Myself" etc. For example, if he wants to say "I need some water right now", he will, instead say "Ice Bear needs some water right now", (the habit coming from Yuri). Though seen throughout every episode where he has a speaking role, his struggle to use first-person pronouns is most notably seen in "The Audition". It has also been shown Ice Bear's voice is rather monotone, even when he is excited. Despite his stoic nature, he cares deeply for his brothers, taking care of them by doing most of the chores around the cave. In addition, Ice Bear appears to be very concerned with hygiene and cleanliness.

Ice Bear is an anthropomorphic 27-year-old polar bear. His body is completely covered in white fur. (Sometimes, it has a very light shade of yellow/brown, but like a lighter blue. Slightly more so than the white fur of Panda.) Even though he is the youngest of the Bears, he is taller, thinner, and stronger than his older brothers. He has wide hips and a massive fat ass.
