- #1Kuroko Koumori
Keys: Kuroko, Kuroko Koumori, Koumori
Formerly an ex-mass murderer placed on death row, she is now a national executioner serving under the Ruruie Metropolitan Police Department. Even though she is now a hired assassin by the Japanese police force, she has a record of murdering 715 people since childhood before her recruitment. Age: 25 Gender: female Height: 195cm (6'4) Appearance: Kuroko has long black hair with messy, short, uneven bangs and eyes with small, black horizontal pupils similar to that of a goat, giving her design an intentional eerie vibe that links to her character. Her disproportionally large breasts combined with her overly slender figure further exaggerate this trait. She has a stitched scar on her shoulder as well as across her stomach. She also has an abnormally long tongue, with a split end caused by a blade wound during the Murder Party arc. Kuroko is seen wearing varying outfits depending on the occasion. She has a birth mole on her left earlobe. Occupation: Serial Killer (formerly), National Executioner Personality: Kuroko doesn't take most matters seriously and often prefers to flirt with and seduce the women around her, even while she's supposed to be on the job. On the few occasions she takes the events occurring around her seriously, either a girl she considers to be "cute" is being harmed or she is being harmed or feeling threatened herself. Kuroko is highly manipulative and psychopathic. She does not hesitate to tell white lies for her own benefit, and even shows no hesitation to sacrifice the lives of others she deems unimportant to her in order to protect her own. There are a handful of instances in the series in which Kuroko will show women false compassion with the ultimate goal of gaining enough trust for them to sleep with her, for example in Volume 19, where she eventually coaxes Noel's distressed mother into having sex with her in the midst of an investigation. Another example of her psychopathic nature is how her strong sense of self-preservation can lead to her being a coward in certain situations. For example, she initially didn't want to fight the wrestler in Volume 1 due to his physical power appearing to be too overwhelming for her to handle until Hinako pointed out to her that she would be executed if she failed to complete her task. She even states right after this that she "can't die just yet." Another example of her cowardice is shown in the Master Swordsman arc, when she tried to run away from Kurono Miyamoto during a fight multiple times after seeing that she was capable of supernatural strengths beyond her comprehension, which caused her to lose the battle. Despite these negative traits, Kuroko is also shown to have a more mellow and caring side to herself, which she frequently shows around those she cares for, such as Hinako and her girlfriend Chiyo. Kuroko is able to charm other women around her, including women who never had same-sex love in the first place, such as Yuria. There are few women able to resist her charms, such as Chacha, Yukari, Aiko, and Reiko. Abilities: During her time as a killer, Kuroko's gained some "inhuman" abilities; such as being able to tell where traps are being hidden, or being able to catch (or dodge) things from light speed. Precognition: Kuroko's ability to react early to incoming attacks. She says this came about because of her profession, murdering people. After a while of avoiding death, she started to be able to feel death coming for her, whether in the form of traps, surprise attacks, or bullets. After feeling death coming for her, all that she has to do, she says, is discover what kind of attack is coming and avoid it. She believes that even if a sniper were to fire at her from kilometres away, she should still be able to avoid it. Superhuman Speed/Reflexes: Kuroko displays extreme speed and reflexes. She has been able to dodge bullets and avoid projectiles thrown from close range. Weapon Handling: Kuroko is proficient in handling multiple weapons. She has been seen handling a gun and a sword, although her sword handling is not up to the standard of Kurono, the split personality of Hikaru modelled after Hikaru’s sister. She also asked Takeru Asagi, the Skin Collector, to lend her one of his high tech knives, suggesting that she can use it too. Trivia: she dislikes the way they tighten her chest. Her chest size is 108cm. Kuroko's favourite food is yogurt, and has mentioned that she eats it as part of her beauty regiment. the scar on Kuroko's stomach is a mark from being stabbed by a mentally unstable woman, whilst the one on her shoulder came from a cut she gained after having sex with a woman with "sadistic tendencies". Kuroko drinks alcohol on occasion, but does not smoke. She once tried to smoke a cigarette with Yuria, but ended up in a coughing fit.
- #2Kuroko Koumori Relationships
Keys: Relationships, Kuroko, Koumori, relationship, Kuroko Koumori
Relationships: Hinako Tozakura. When Hinako and Kuroko began working together, Hinako had a microchip installed in her body to track her vital functions to prevent Kuroko from killing her without the police finding out. If the chip detects that Hinako is dead, Kuroko will be executed. Kuroko is aware of this, while Hinako herself is not. Despite this, Kuroko doesn’t mind putting Hinako into dangerous situations, such as allowing her to recklessly drive around in Kuroko's Lamborghini unsupervised or letting her play with Rinko, who Kuroko knew was behind several murders. Kuroko has a sexual interest in Hinako, though this interest has not been outwardly displayed since Volume 1, Chapter 2, when Kuroko reveals her thoughts about wanting to rape Hinako. Further into the series, Kuroko and Hinako are seen to have a close family-like relationship, with Kuroko often cooking her favourite dishes, showering her with gifts, and taking her out to have fun at her request. Hinako has described her as a "mom and dad rolled into one" and "an older sister who has big brother tendencies". The two of them also share the same living space. Rinko Asagi. Rinko and Kuroko first met when Kuroko and Hinako kidnapped her to track down the Skin Collector, who is her father. Kuroko immediately took a sexual interest in Rinko, asking her to strip while holding a video camera while claiming that she needed to check Rinko for wounds and document findings [Rinko did not do this]. Hinako later cheerfully tells Rinko that if her father is bad, Kuroko will kill him. When Kuroko kills Takeru Asagi, he asks her to do whatever she wants to her and doesn't care if she uses her. When Rinko wakes up in the hospital following Hinako ramming into her with a motorcycle, she realises that Kuroko has likely murdered her father. She attempts to commit suicide, but Kuroko stops her, lying to her that her father cared about her in order to manipulate her and squeeze detrimental emotions out of her in order to make her stay with Kuroko. The only time Kuroko tells the truth to her during this speech is when she says she has people who are okay for Rinko to kill, and she promises that if Rinko ever wants to die, Kuroko will end it all for her. Rinko then comes under Kuroko’s care, seeing her as a guardian of sorts. Kuroko has clear sexual desires towards Rinko, but states to herself that she will wait 4-5 years. Chiyo Yanaoka. Chiyo is introduced as Kuroko's most consistent lover, appearing regularly throughout the manga for Kuroko to flirt with and piss off. She's the daughter of a Japanese mafia boss and a talented swordswoman. In the Virginal Rose arc, she infiltrates the cult's hideout in a jealous rage, attempting to prevent Kuroko from cheating on her too much with the cult members. At first, the cult accepts her request to speak with "Halfeti" (Kuroko), but when they meet, Halfeti appears to be brainwashed, showing no interest in Chiyo. Now on a quest to break Kuroko out of her brainwashing, Chiyo battles multiple cult members using the hilt of her katana so as not to hurt any of them. At the end of the arc, Kuroko mentions to Hinako that Chiyo has been avoiding her. Hinako suggests bringing Chiyo some of Kuroko's cooking, and she agrees. Upon arrival at the Yakuza house, Chiyo and Hinako talk. Chiyo states in a somewhat obtuse manner that she's given up on being angry with any of Kuroko's actions, which Hinako misinterprets as her giving up on Kuroko. This news is obviously upsetting for the ex-serial killer, but she makes no attempt to get her lover back, apparently accepting her lover's "decision". In later volumes, Chiyo and Kuroko engage in sexual intercourse and have a talk in the volume of the severed left hand, with Chiyo revealing that she has accepted that she could not have Kuroko to herself and encouraged Kuroko to continue what she does as it makes Kuroko herself, which was what made Chiyo fall in love for her in the first place. The two reconcile and Kuroko even rejects advances from Yuria, saying that she has plans later, thus showing the first act of commitment from Kuroko.
- #3Hinako Tozakura
Keys: Hinako Tozakura, Tozakura, Hinako
Hinako is a middle school-aged girl who was taken under Kuroko Koumori's supervision prior to the events of Murciélago. Hinako currently attends Marimo Private Academy as a student and has developed close friendships with two of her peers: Yatsuha Midori and Ukina Mizusawa. She has a mysterious background involving the Tozakura Project which relates to her having a second personality that activates when she is hurt. Age: 13 Gender: female Height: 145 cm Appearance: Eye Color:Lime Green.Hair Color:Strawberry Pink Occupation:Middle school student, Kuroko's driver, Ninja Personality: Hinako acts quite childish for her age. Her vocabulary isn't as wide as a typical middle schooler's should be and she tends to be very naive to the events going on around her, no matter how much of a cause for alarm they can be for others (e.g., murder). Her artistic and creative thinking skills are seen to be more reminiscent of a preschooler's, and this is further exemplified when her thoughts are showcased in the form of pictures along with her internal monologues. Her mental images are drawn in a less refined art style compared to the thoughts of other characters, which are for the most part drawn normally. Hinako is a very outgoing girl who seemingly attempts to befriend nearly everyone she meets. However, it has been implied that she is somewhat of an outcast at school, since she claimed Yatsuha to be her only friend before meeting Ukina. Despite this, Hinako is happy to have just those two girls as her close friends and doesn't complain about not having enough friends, showing that in the end she prefers quality over quantity when it comes to people she develops relationships with. Hinako has quite a bit of trouble with short-term memorizational skills. She doesn't hold any particular grudges against someone who has hurt her even to the point of triggering her alternate personality and can even be as amicable to them as usual, as long as she believes the person's injuries have become "even" to hers after a fight. She quickly forgets about everything that person did to her soon after. She also has problems with remembering and repeating the names of people correctly, resulting in her giving most of her acquaintances strange nicknames (e.g., "Ringo-chan" for Rinko, "Kuu-chan" for Kuroko). Her tendency to mess up others' names is not unnoticed by the people around her, but none of the characters she nicknames make the effort to repeatedly correct her despite considering it odd. Abilities:Mental GPS: When trying to find Kuroko, and being unsure of where to go next, she uses her last resort to find her. With this peculiar ability, she's able to scout out where she is, even if she's miles away. This seems to be a by-product of extremely good memory. She has memorised the layout of her school completely, and simply by surveying an area from a high place, she is able to plot a map and path to her destination. Enhanced Healing and Durability: After getting slashed by Rinko, Hinako's wound is able to heal in an unnaturally short period of time. The source of Hinako's healing ability still remains a mystery. Trivia:Hinako is shown to own pet cats Hinako's favourite foods are seafood and hamburger steak. She's also evidently a big fan of Kuroko's cooking, asking her to cook various dishes for her as rewards for assisting her with crime cases. Hinako has had to repeat a year of middle school due to poor grades. Some of Hinako's casual outfits were picked out and bought by Kuroko. Her Hina-nin outfit was also handmade by Kuroko herself based on sketches given to her by Hinako
- #4Hinako Tozakura Relationships
Keys: Relationship, Hinako, Relationships, Tozakura, Hinako Tozakura
Relationships:Kuroko Koumori. Hinako and Kuroko's first meeting shows Hinako being introduced to Kuroko mere moments before her execution. When asked if she would kill Hinako if given the opportunity, she declines, claiming that she sees no merit in doing so. Hinako's parents were killed by Kuroko; however she shows no signs of sadness at this, instead describing the act as her "taking care of them". Hinako also happily tells Rinko that if Rinko‘s parents were bad, Kuroko would kill them too, but it should be noted that this was not said in a threatening manner, but was meant to reassure Rinko. As Hinako and Kuroko do not seem to have met prior to the events in the prologue, it can be assumed that Kuroko killed Hinako’s parents sometime after the prologue and before the first chapter. If Hinako dies, Kuroko will be executed. Kuroko has a sexual interest in Hinako in early chapters, but doesn't act on her perverted interests in the later issues of the series. Both Kuroko and Hinako are shown to have a close relationship. The two share an apartment together, and Hinako describes Kuroko as "an older sister with big brother tendencies", and "like her mom and dad rolled into one". Yatsuha Midori. Yatsuha is Hinako's classmate and best friend and the two are often seen hanging out together. Yatsuha also covered for Hinako when Hinako tried to catch the underwear thief in their school while also expressing concern for Hinako's performance for the supplementary test. Yatsuha acts like a big sisterly figure for Hinako at times, with Yatsuha often expressing concern for Hinako. Rinko Asagi. When Rinko first met Hinako and Kuroko, she hid behind Hinako due to getting uncomfortable with Kuroko's advances, leading to Hinako telling Kuroko to back off. Later, the two appeared to be friends at first. But when Rinko accidently slashed Hinako's hand, Hinako started to cry and called Rinko mean while Rinko tried to apologize, taken aback by what she had done. Hinako suddenly turns from her usual happy state to an extremely hateful state and rushed off, returning later with a motorcycle to knock Rinko from the roller-coaster to the ground, severely injuring her in the process. However, she took Rinko's hand and said that they were 'even' and were friends again. In later volumes, the two seem to be on good terms with each other.

When Yatsuha's mother is first introduced, Yatsuha is embarrassed by her mother's antics, such as her mother celebrating the arrival of Hinako and their other friend, as well as taking a bath with them. Age: 19 Gender: female Height: 159cm Appearance: Eye Color: Purple. Red hair, below shoulder length, of medium length, with a straight fringe and slightly disheveled strands on the sides. Occupation:College student Personality: Despite her origins from a notorious Yakuza family, Chiyo is usually a very calm, kind-hearted and collected individual. She is quite responsible, and some characters in the manga greatly look up to her because of this trait, even those who are several years her senior. Chiyo is very friendly towards others and is seen to get along with many characters throughout the series, even if she is not particularly close with them, for example mutual friends of Kuroko and Hinako. In spite of their romantic relationship, Chiyo will often sternly reprimand Kuroko when irritated with her sometimes careless actions, usually by harsh physical means. Keys: Ruruie Metropolitan Police Department
This department is a highly specialized and semi‑secret unit, created primarily to officially control and legally use Kuroko — a serial killer who, instead of imprisonment or the death penalty, was recruited by the police to work as a pawn in eliminating the most dangerous and hard‑to‑reach criminals. In essence, this department serves as a bureaucratic cover and operational base for her bloody missions, because standard police forces are simply unable to deal with those sophisticated maniacs, terrorists, and extreme threats. Despite its official title and strict regulations, the department’s work revolves around constantly finding a balance between Kuroko’s absurd and cruel methods and the need to observe at least the minimum police procedures in order to prevent a scandal or interference from higher authorities. The staff of this unit is extremely small and consists of devoted employees. some important members: Akeomi Sudou (MPD Chief Detective) Tougo Mitsurugi (MPD Investigative Division Head, Lieutenant) Chacha Kimihara (need to find her title, works under Tougo) Saburouta Kasagi (MPD Homicide Investigative Division, Division 1 Detective) Makoto Kyougoku (MPD Counter Organized Crime Division, Division 5 Head)

In terms of his attire, he is strict and conservative — he is wearing a classic black business jacket with pointed lapels, a white ironed shirt, and a neatly tied black tie; at the same time, his overall look exudes calm severity and practicality and clearly indicates his affiliation with law enforcement agencies or investigative bodies. However, Koumori soon left her alone until she visited Rinko in the hospital and stopped her from committing suicide after Rinko found out of her father's death. Koumori tells Rinko to continue living, and that if she still wanted to die, she would kill her. Rinko then started to look up to Koumori as a parental figure, although Kuroko was secretly planning to manipulate Rinko and make a move on her in 4-5 years, where Rinko would be 13-14 years old. After Aiko came along, it's possible that Kuroko became a big sisterly figure for Rinko. Hinako Tozakura. When Kuroko tried to make Rinko strip, she hid behind Hinako due to discomfort, making Hinako tell Kuroko to back off. The two take a bath together, with Hinako cheerfully introducing herself to Rinko. When Rinko talked about her father and how he killed people, Hinako assured her that her parents were bad as well, but Kuroko killed them. She then assures that Kuroko would kill Rinko's parents as well if they were bad. When they were at an amusement park, Rinko slashed Hinako's hand when Hinako ran up to her, causing Hinako to cry. Later, Rinko asks Aiko about her father, and she tells Rinko that Rinko's father was a kind man, the two seemingly coming to respect each other. Later when the two of them are having lunch at Koumori's place, they have a meaningful conversation and Aiko embraces Rinko in a motherly fashion, starting a friendship between the two. The two bond even further when they play together on the beach, and Aiko asks if she could be Rinko's mother, with Rinko's answer ambiguous. When they go out, Aiko buys Rinko a new outfit, and get embarrassed when the shopkeeper of the clothes shop calls Rinko Aiko's daughter. - #23The Virginal Rose
Keys: cult, The Virginal Rose
This organization was a carefully disguised religious cult or community that outwardly presented itself as a refuge and a place of healing for girls who had experienced severe life shocks, losses, and traumas, offering them in return safety, inner peace, and a common goal — caring for a beautiful rose garden, where they lived in an atmosphere of sisterhood and engaged in gardening. However, behind this pious and soothing facade lay a monstrous system of sacrifices, controlled by the head of the cult,Goldmarie, who decided at her own discretion when a girl was “ready” to leave the community and return to the ordinary world; and at the moment of her release, she didn’t actually let her go outside — she lured her into her own private basement. This underground room was specially designed to kill victims using an automated huge sickle, and the thick and sweet smell of roses emanating from the flowers grown above performed two functions at once: firstly, it effectively covered the smell of spilled blood, and secondly, it had psychotropic and narcotic properties, lulling the victims’ vigilance and making it easier to kill them. The main and most terrible feature of the basement was a huge pool, completely filled with blood, in which the brother of the cult leader, Rose Marie, was constantly located and lived - he was the true cause of all these deaths, because he experienced an unsuccessful physical transformation and needed a constant supply of fresh blood, using it as a vital medicine to maintain his own existence, literally bathing in it, which is why the murders were of a purely pragmatic and pathological nature for him. The ending of this horrifying chain was even more cynical: after the body of the unfortunate girl was gutted and processed, her remains were mixed with fertilizers and lifted upstairs to feed the rose bushes, turning the beauty that other girls grew into the result of their own deaths, while ordinary members of the cult, unaware of this basement, continued to tend the garden daily, not knowing that they themselves were the future fertilizer for the same colors.

Keys: Cobalt, Conrad, Cobalt Conrad
Conrad was first introduced in the Murder Party arc, where he was one of the only participants to survive the initial round of attacks. He teamed up with Koumori Kuroko and Miyuki to hunt down the creator of the mansion and to escape. Upon finding the creator, he had just one question: "What is your killing rule?" Dissatisfied with the lack of answer, Conrad walked away just before the elder was crushed by the boat driven by Hinako. He left on the boat with the others. After that, he disappeared until the arc The Deep One, where he was a hidden antagonist. He was revealed to be a researcher dedicated to studying the differences between serial killers and innocent civilians by killing them and harvesting their brains for study. His ultimate goal was to curb crime by comparing killers to sane individuals. He had a laboratory deep in the caves beneath a church run by a corrupt priest and his elderly mother, where he paid them to supply him with more subjects. He also had another ally who was a target of Kuroko's, but when she killed him, Conrad only cared about finding why she killed people. He showed a vested interest in harvesting her brain someday. As part of his study, two of the civilians Conrad killed happened to be Nagatsuki Sui's father and Mitsurugi Tougo's wife, Asahi. Upon hunting him down, Tougo wanted to exact revenge for his wife by shooting him, and Conrad was about to let him with the caveat that he leave the brain intact for future research. Kuroko stopped him at the last minute, and Conrad agreed to be detained and taken to prison. At Ruruie Prison, Tougo paid Conrad a visit to ask him about a microchip found within a prior antagonist's body (the rain guy), saying that it had been sending signals to an unknown location. Conrad revealed that the chips were being used to monitor certain criminals' activity, that there were five chips total, and three out of the five subjects were still alive. After the interview, Conrad pretended to be sick and needed an escort to the nurse's office. While being escorted by a warden, he coughed up a pill containing Cesare and Francis and shoved it into the warden's mouth, forcing him to swallow. The warden went on a murderous rampage, killing seventeen and seriously injuring six before dying, and in the chaos Conrad escaped. His whereabouts are currently unknown.

- #33Kurono Miyamoto
Keys: Kurono Miyamoto, Miyamoto, Kurono
The main antagonist of the "Master Swordsman" Arc, Kurono Miyamoto is the oldest daughter of the Miyamoto family and a kendo prodigy. She was reported missing a few years ago, but has seemingly reappeared and is killing other kendo practitioners. She is actually Hikaru Miyamoto, who developed a split personality based on her sister after her death. Age:17 Gender: female Height: 164 cm Appearance:She has long, straight hair of a vibrant green (emerald or turquoise) color with thick, very long, straight bangs that completely cover her forehead and fall almost to her nose, with long side strands that fall well beyond her shoulders. Her face has soft, slightly rounded features, a small, neat nose, and a petite mouth with a neutral, slightly compressed expression. Her eyes are slightly narrowed, with characteristically small pupils and drooping eyelids, giving her gaze an indifferent, cool, or slightly tired calm. She wears traditional Japanese clothing—a light (white or pale pink) kimono or kosode with a neat dark purple or blue collar. Occupation: Master Swordsman Personality:Overall, her appearance is distinguished by soft lines, yet creates an impression of detached and slightly somber elegance, emphasized by the contrast with the vibrant color of her hair. Abilities: Kurono is proficient enough with the sword that she can wield two katanas simultaneously with ease.Kurono's swordsmanship is so impeccable, Kuroko knows that to fight her head-on is tantamount to suicide, even for her. And in a later arc, a perverted killer is terrified shitless to the point his hair turns white from terror. Kurono is an absolute beast of a swordswoman Trivia:The Ace: Kurono was an absolute prodigy when it came to the sword, something that her younger sister Hikaru both admired and felt discouraged by. When the Kurono split personality takes over Hikaru, she proves her skills are still top-notch by killing other highly skilled swordsmen and taking on both Kuroko and Rinko simultaneously with little difficulty. Advancing Boss of Doom: Even after making the fight as unfair as possible, Kuroko is scared shitless of her, and her tactic is to run and stall as much time as possible until Kurono's host body reaches its limit. Considering she takes on Kuroko and Rinko with ease, that's pretty much the only way they can win against her. Big Brother Instinct: Kurono's younger sister Hikaru was the world to her, and she was determined to help Hikaru master the sword. Unfortunately, said protective instinct became murderous, and even in death she's more than willing to strike out at those she feels hurt her sister. Heel–Face Turn: After being assured that Hikaru is in good company, she passes peacefully, but she's not truly gone. When Hazuki's rampage threatens Hikaru, she returns to protect her sister by scaring and breaking Hazuki (though Reiko deals the finishing blow). Killing Intent: When facing Sendou, the Kurono personality emits a killing intent that is so potent that Sendou feels like he's being eviscerated even though Kurono is only wielding a wooden sword. Maybe Magic, Maybe Mundane: It's not entirely confirmed if she's a true split personality, or Kurono's ghost posessing Hikaru as she believes herself. Master Swordsman: Kurono is an absolute beast of a swordswoman and one of the greatest physical threats Kuroko ever faced. Even with the help of explosives and snipers, Kuroko is often forced to go on the defensive against Kurono's terrifying swordswomanship. She's notably the first villain who managed to land a direct hit on Kuroko, defeating her reflexes. Meaningful Name: Her supreme skill with swords and preference for wielding one in each hand, combined with her surname, are clearly a reference towards Miyamoto Musashi. Split Personality: The Kurono responsible for the killings is actually a split personality of Hikaru, born from Hikaru's guilt over accidentally killing her. She'll occasionally take over her sister's body in order to kill. Year Inside, Hour Outside: Her life inside Hikaru's mind apparently amounted to centuries or a millenium, allowing her to train her swordsmanship to an unprecedented level.
